Hello all!
This is a project that's been in the planning stages for about a month now, and its finally fleshed out into reality in the span of three days. For those of you who read my epics, you'll be familiar with my collaboration epic, Solidity, with Synthesis. Well this tag team has crossed over into the comics forum now, and I'm pleased to announce the birth of our new comic series-



Yes its another picture-edit comic like my still ongoing series, League of Villainy. But this time there's a twist. The way this series works (for the most part) is that good ol' Mikey will take pictures of whatever MOCs or sets he has laying around interacting. He'll then send me the pictures, not telling me what he thinks the characters were doing, and its up to me to caption them. The result is a totally awesome, but totally random comic, now, without further ado-

I really liked how that first comic turned out, I'll keep the pic size thing in consideration next time too.
And the 'sploosh' from the FSS's was hilarious, 'specially the mana ko take over. Nice job with Nocturn too.

I'd say the first comic was a success
Nice twist on what the Squid ammo does, BTW

Glad you liked it TPTI (seriously...we need to get you a better nickname than an acronym XD)
The whole "sploosh" incident is sort of a homage to a character from my older Halo based comics, the Infection form called Floogo, he has a history of speaking "sploosh-ish" or w/e you want to call it.
But the squid ammo, I really couldn't think of anything to use it for, I figured hey, its gummy, and its in Mana-Ko's mouth, therefore it will be gum! So it kind of served as a distraction for Mana-Ko while the ickle spiders took over his brain.

Issue 2, The Tale of the Devestators is now online. I just took the pictures for this about five minutes ago, but I couldn't resist. Mikerahk ain't been able to take pictures for a real issue, so consider this to be filler material.

Sorry for the delay all, vacation didn't allow me to take pics for the next comic.

I really liked the filler comic, the devastators were hilarious, and it gives me a great idea for the next round of comics...

The chrismas haul will be useful, very useful...

The Devestators were a spur of the moment deal like I said before, inspiration just hit me in the face...like some sort of red mac truck (a cookie for anybody who gets that reference!). Look at it as a way of telling what happened to the Devestators in LoV, seeing as how they've been absent in those comics lately.
And duhn be to hard on yourself Mike, everybody deserves a good vacation

Thanks for the positive feedback Reya , I appreciate it. I'm surprised I haven't fallen into the trap of making a food-joke comic yet, seeing as how the infamous "Cheese, pie, cake, chips," etc. has been in so many comics I've read over the past few years.

Hey all, I just took pics for issue three, and lemme say, it's good stuff. I can't wait to see how DtM subs it. It is also a longer comic as well, I think about 35 or so frames.

He thinks its already good stuff without words folks! Mr. Ego FTW! XD
And he's right, it is a tad longer, but I'm up to the challenge. Expect it up around tomorow or Wednesday.

IMO The Fikou Stocking Spider has already made an impact on BZP history, whether it was a good one or bad one is up to one's interpretation. As a character, I always thought it had tons of potential, and I'm glad that I get to write for it now He doesn't WANT to scare you, he just can't help being such a three legged freak from the pit XD

Oh no! The flame fingered fiend is taking everybody down with his futuristic firepower. But is the Fikou friend or foe to the felon?

The fikou is an enemy of the devastator.

I love my TIE fighter.

It's gonna be taking part in a lot of comics...

The FSS is an enemy to all who haven't fallen before his insane powers!
Mike, did you just foreshadow what I could expect from future pictures? Hmm...I'll need to think of how to use this TIE some more...

Love the new issue, you did scar's character just the way I imagined him when I was taking the pictures.

Scar plays a good part, but I can't tell at this point how many comics he'll be in... I can garuntee two, but beyond that, I'm not sure.

The next comic will probably be relatively short... I'll probably take pics tomorrow afternoon, but no garuntees.

Sploosh indeed.

Mmmm. Mana Ko again...
Is he still working for Nocturn? Or does that not count because it's a different comic

Same Mana-Ko, though he seems to have been freed from the grip of the FSSes that were controlling him, probably thanks to Scar's help in some off camera scene.
Nocturn is like a general in the FSS army, but that doesn't mean he's the one in charge

Anyways...after letting this rot in my Comics folder for a while, I think its finally fermented enough, Issue 5, included are two bonus features at the end of the comic, a sign of things to come? Maybe...

I've never seen a comic quite like this before. Very impressive! I love the characters and the randomness of it all!

So do you and some others work on this? That would kinda explain the large mass of lego pieces all over the floor.

Mikerahk takes the pictures, and I do the writing. Every now and again, a man behind the curtain, whom I will refer to as Spuzzum, provides some extra inspiration and idea help with the whole business. All those pieces are Mike's though

This is definately my favorite chronicle ever, I loved the overly obvious fake stunt seens with the fresh commentary.

The scenes with the spiders climbing the tie fighter were fun to take, since I was rotating the camera and all. The final pic with the FSS took about 10 pictures to get right.

And when Scar fell off my stat binder, I lost track of his sword, and I haven't found it yet. It's 'specially disappointing since it was a newly ordered trans-fire-orange flame sword.

Regardless, this was an awesome addition to the series.

Be expecting a new chronicle soon...

And yes, I need to clean my room.

I sure hope Mana Ko hasn't thought of a plan. Because if he's smart enough to do that we're all doomed

Aw Mikey, the junkyard totally adds personality to your otherwise drab sense of style /sarcasm.



Budget cuts? I deny all claims to such things! I didn't put that in there!? Uh...uh...
But yeah, it was kind of a force of habit, making the mini-vissies scream "SKREEEE" throughout the whole thing, I had to correct myself numerous times with the "Sploosh!" deal, but I just though, eh, the heck with it.


They aren't supposed to know about the cuts! 0_0

Editing for the pictures should start Saturday, I need to get caught up with League of Villainy first

Can all the Iron Drones morph their hands into weaponry?

I figure each of the little devestators can morph their hands into weaponry, it all depends on whether or not Mike decides to utilize that in the photography.

Devastators can adapt their arms into different weapons depending upon their coloration (eyes and hands).

I really enjoyed TKS 6, from the shadow whip to the construciton of the battle mech. All around good stuff.

I just took pics of the next two chronicles, and they have some awesome content, keep your eyes on this topic.

So it IS a battle mech, confirmation!
I'm working on a couple other comics (see: League of Villainy) right now, but I can hopefully get these edited and uploaded by tonight, at least before Battlestar comes on

THese are real funny. I love them, and can't wait for the next one. I wonder what that enigineering drone is building?

Mike pretty much confirmed he was building a battle mech, but we do know that Mana-Ko is also up to something in the Junkyard, as well as the Stocking Spiders, it'll be interesting to see how it all pans out IMO.

All will be revealed in good time. Yes the engineer drone is building a battle mech, but I won't disclose the details about that yet. Nor will I disclose any information on the queen FSS. The mana-ko isn't neccesarily battling anything in the junkyard, put he's building 'associates' to 'aid him' because a war is going on, and he's in the middle.

*takes a break from TKS 7 editing again*
Seems to me a war is developing between the Stocking Spiders and the Devestators. They've both been taking hits at each other for the past four issues now on and off. I feel sorry for Mana-Ko though, he was probably just minding his own business and BAM two warring armies invade the junkyard.

Something to that effect, yes. The mana-ko isn't completely neutral after his experiances in the first comic though...
