I'm sure a lot of you have played a Gradius game, or heard of the Konami series (that's been around before a lot of you were even born). Whether it be on your Playstation 2, your Gameboy, in the arcades, or even on your graphing calculator at school when you're done with that big math test.
I was bored (of course!) and inspiration hit me while playing the new Gradius Collection on the PSP, so I got my tubs of pieces out and went to work. The result wasn't as true to the many forms of the ship that have been seen over the years, but I'm pleased with the results. ![]() front side bottom close up of cockpit/nose top back Gallery Vic Viper (storyline by me, based off of Konami's games)- The Vic Viper, an interstellar fighter rushed into service by the planet of Gradius during the first Bacterion war, it was successful at destroying the enemy base of Xaerous. The Vic Viper returned two years later, reoutfitted for a new mission to destroy the new wave of Bacterion fighters, the force known as Gofer, once again, the Vic Viper returned to its people, having saved them from a second chance at destruction. But the Bacterions did not give up, in one last full force invasion they returned to Gradius controlled space, and the Vic Viper was again modified for the new wave of enemies. After destroying the large biomass behind the Bacterion wars, a fragment of the being landed on a planet near Gradius, quickly terraforming it into another base like Xaerous, the people of Gradius were at the mercy of their forces, when a lone pilot took the Vic Viper, worn by age, into one last fight to eliminate the Bacterions, and send them back through expanse of darkness from whence they came. Peace rested upon the people of Gradius, and they could finally return to a life without fear. Bonus MOC, "Walker" enemy; walkers show up in most of the games in one form or another, I based this one of off the more cartoonish looking one of the original game. side front back walking along and aiming at the Vic Viper (unseen) Gallery DtM This post has been edited by Dinobot The Maximal: Jun 24 2006, 10:28 PM -------------------- ![]() COMICS: [Ithilin's Comics Website] [League of Villainy] EPICS: [Droids] [Droids 2] [Droids 3] [Solidity] [Droyds] Latest Acquisitions: Robot Heroes Chromia/Megatron & Ratchet/Barricade; Walmart Hardhead, Powerglide, & Skyfall Currently Seeking: NOTHING! |

It's a nice MOC, but this forum is for Bionicle-based MOCs only.
If I were to score it, 9/10 nice job. -Marauder -------------------- Due to recent events here on BZPower and in reality, my loss of interest in Bionicle, and the overall state of Bionicle in general, I am leaving the site as of Wednesday, May 23, 2007 at 3:28 PM EST. If you would wish to contact me, please do so by e-mail through the boards (accessible through my profile). Thank you all for an incredible year and a half, it's been fun.

Thoraxe- Glad you like it so much
Marauder- Like what Mikey said, anything Technic goes in this forum, Lego based MOCs go in the LGD board ToaXP- A Hyperspace fighter was what I was aiming for, at least the idea behind what its supposed to be is easy to recognize, I redid the wings to make it more convienent as I built it, otherwise there'd be these huge L shaped things on either side of the mid-section Mikerahk- Those Zamor launchers can be used for so much more other than launchers, you would know DtM -------------------- ![]() COMICS: [Ithilin's Comics Website] [League of Villainy] EPICS: [Droids] [Droids 2] [Droids 3] [Solidity] [Droyds] Latest Acquisitions: Robot Heroes Chromia/Megatron & Ratchet/Barricade; Walmart Hardhead, Powerglide, & Skyfall Currently Seeking: NOTHING! |

Now that, is pretty sweet. Man that Zamor sphere fits perfectly on the ship and the front edited picture looks good. I thought it was really from the trnasformer series or somthing. KUTGW.

Jegun- The Zamor launcher was the only piece I could find that looked decent enough as the cockpit and still matched the silver color scheme, though I wish I had a blue zamor sphere for the cockpit :/ The edited picture took me about 30 minutes from start to finish, I was still trying to figure out the differences between Imageready and Photoshop. And a Vic Viper TF would be awesome!
Aslo, I put up links to the seperate pictures in the Walker MOC gallery and a link to the Vic Viper gallery as well. As a long time Gradius and Life Force fan, I can say this is a very good rendition of the VV.
I like the cockpit, and front of it, you got the shape down very well. Nice background to it as well. 9/10, I love old shooters. -------------------- |

Lol, the Lifeforce/Salamander thing always had me confused on which was which (even the wiki didn't help >.>). Still, glad to know I'm not alone, old shooters are some of the best ever, I just felt like I had to do this ship some justice in MOC format.
