The original topic died so I have made a new one. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire: The Game Here's a game I made in Game Maker, based on the book by J.K. Rowling, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Press F1 during game play to learn the controls. Please post any questions or comments here. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Download Site(Download currently offline, more details to come) (Click the link at the top of the page marked with a windows icon.) Movie (This is a movie that I wanted to put into the game, but it made the file size too big so feel free to view it here) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This demo (3.1) contains: -Improved sprites -Improved views -Improved colision -Improved dammage (from the fire) -A cutscene -A password to get past the maze -A bonus level that shows you what spell casting is like ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The next demo (4) should contain: -A new mini game (battling Peeves) -A view of some rooms in Hogwarts -Many new characters -Things to do while exploring Hogwarts -All the stuff that happens in chapter 12 (this is because most of the demo will be devoted to making Hogwarts seem realistic) -A currency system -Health boosters Projected release date: Currently unknown ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Here's a banner I made for the game:

I beat it! I had some trouble with the maze, though.

I am extremly sorry for the long wait. This should have been finished a month or two earlier, but due to a series of unfair coincidences, I didn't get a lot of time on the computer. Well the next demo is up, I suggest you play it because there is a bonus level at the end. Keep in mind, HBP is not the definitive source, and it's completely possible that Renervate is just another form of the spell, like jump and hop would both be different forms of leap, ableit different heights. Anyway, great demo, as usual.  ~COTK~ |

So, here's what I've got so far:
Currency (a.k.a. Bertie Bott's Beans): Done Health Boosters (a.k.a. Chocolate Frogs, Pumpkin Pasties, and Cauldron Cakes): Done I'll start on the actual story when I get some more sprites from COTK. But it's all planned out so it should be done when he gets me the sprites.
