As per request of other topic regulars, I am adding announcements to the first post. To start, yes, we have heard of Shadow the Hedgehog (Multiplatform), Sonic Gems Collection (Multiplatform), and Sonic Rush (DS). If you would like to add Sonic news, feel free to PM me.

This has been pre-approved by Astro Al.I have all of the first five games (sonic the hedghog, sonic the hedghog 2, Sonic cd, Sonic the hedgehog 3, and sonic &knuckles) I have beat all but 2, and I know a stage select for it.

Warning, if you wish to beat it the hard way, do not read the next section. Some people complain about spoilers, so I'm warning you.

Go to options and play tunes 19, 65, 9, 17. Then, press c (x, if you only have it on Megacollection like I do) and press start. Then, hold a (b on gc) and press start.

To see the code, highlight the text. I do not know if there is a debug mode, but I wouldn't be suprised if there is. In the first game, press up, down, left, right, then hold b and press start (a on genisis) I have also beaten 3d blast (the least fun one in the series) and spinball. which games have you beat?

Yeah, Sonic rocks! They are comin out with Sonic Advance 2 and Sonic Adventure DX. THey look nice.

man, i've only played Sonic 1, and 2 for genesis. and Sonic and Knux for PC. ><
and i've never beat any of them...

sa2b is incredible,the chao are adorable(ya im a boy and i like chao so what laugh if you want but there cute)very inpresive for a sega game on a nintendo system.

Same here. My highest chao's stat's are level 99 in everything. And its level can't get higher than 99. His name is Chaoko, and he's a dark normal type. I realised that Star, my sister's hero normal, is an almost perfect clone aside from appearance. Same stat growth on all five stats, same personality, same favorite fruit.

I discovered the debug mode for STH2, do the stage select (it's on my first post) and play tunes 1,9,9,2,1,1,2,4, hold b (a on genisis) and enter a stage. It's only real use is easy rings, but its fun messing with.

Tikal is a member of the Knuckles tribe from angel island.I don't know the details, but she has something to do with the creature Chaos, but I don't know much more, since I've never played Sa1. She makes an appearance in Sa2B's multiplayer, if you need pics, along with chaos

Lets see I don't want to brag but I've beaten Sonic, Sonic 2, Sonic 3 and Kuckles(on genisis when you hook up soinc and kunckles to sonic 3) Sonic 3D Blast Sonic CD (I know the list goes on and on) Sonic Adventure, and finaly Sonic Adventure 2.

Chao are awsome. Too bad I don't have a gamecube or I'd tell you all of their stats. I have a shadow chao with green streeks insted of red.

Tikal was the Daughter of the Kunckles tribe leader and was very fond of Chaos and the Chao. When her dad tryed to take the chaos emeralds Chaos used them to get to full power. Tikal had to lock Chaos inside the Master Emerald to keep every one safe.

Umm where did you hear that. Nintendo didn't buy anything. Sega Is MAKING the games for Nintendo. Sonic is not property of Nitendo. They also didn't sell anything to Playstation. Every Sonic game on a Nintendo game system is made by Sega.(sorry if that seemed like flame but I had to stress the point)

Finished SA2B so many times yet it still pleases me to beat the FinalHazard again again and again.

Ouch, My dad got done by this guy, he bought a Sonic Advance cartridge from him bought it home to me. and I had to tell him it was a fake. Yep, they make blank GBA cartridges and stick about 4 or 5 ROMS on each cartridge. But hey, it didn't bother me I traded it in for a GBA without it's box, then sold that to get 2 games, Konami Crazy Racers and the proper Sonic Advance. The trader didn't mind it being it being a fake he has been looking for these type of cartridges, so in a way we conned the seller.

LOL way to go Blade Liger. I just got Sonic Advance last night. Good fun. Can't wait for Sonic Advance 2.

Ok, let me clarify something. I started this topic to talk about Sonic in general, not just SonicX. (I'm not really into the shows, they always so far have messed up on something) If all you have to say is sonicx looks cool, explain why you think so.

I kill on fast paced games, so Sonic was a magical moment for me. Lol, I wouldn't have gotten it if there wasn't a cool picture of the GBA connected to the Gamecube. If that never happened, I'd probably still be "Legoresq" talking in my plain black arial text. Whee. But just lookat me now! The proud owner of THE most powerful Chao on BZP (Don't worry, it's not bad that it's better than yours, I've spent weeks at a time raising it to perfection. All S's, all 99 [Tch, 99 = not much to talk about]) If you want to see my made up characters, look at my avatar lol. There's a few others but...yeah...
Anyway, for those of you that care (as if you wouldn't), I'm about 1/10th done with my RPG game... About Chao if you didn't know...Yeah... O.o;;

Yep, Sonic X ain't gonna mess Sonic up at all.

But honestly I only remember 1 show messing up Sonic and that was Sonic Underground. OK, Manic and Sonia were alright but Eggman (Robotnik) please...and well Sonic and his brother and sister playing with guitars or keyboards. Please, that was bad. I mean I couldn't remember any other show bad.

Used to watch the old series with Robotnik, Grounder, Sonic, Tails, that other dumb robot, and Sonic always ended the show with eating a chilli dog. Now that was amazing at my young age.

I never caught all the episodes of the show wiv Bunnie Rabbot or Sally Acorn including Antoinnete

Howza bout describing your thoughts on what SA3 will be like.

No more Chaos Emeralds please I don't mind them but when you have to collect them in every game gets tiring when you've like done it with all the others.

I myself personally want Chaos back, I don't know why but he was a cool character.

I missed seeing Big the Cat not in SA2 except for the first level when you get chased by that GUN military truck ya see Big running for his life or seeing him fish in Green Forest or was it White Jungle? Can't remember I mean you have to have froggy in the games don't you?

LOL I know what you mean. BTW I've always wonder how they lose them between games after colecting them. Well we know how they lost them between sonic 2 and sonic 3. Knuckles took them at the beging of the first level but thats all we know.

Chaos was cool. I wish we knew more about him. SA just didn't tell enough.

SA3 will most likly be on GC.(Gusess what will make me get a GC he he he) But Sega is going to finish Sonic Adventure DX, Sonic Advance 2(Wait that is finished it just has to come out in North America), and Sonic Pinball madness for GBA(I think that's what it's called)

OK, i guess i won't post my own topic, but how do you bbeat eggman at the end of cosmic angel zonr in sonic advance? i am using tails, and i am completely stumped as to how to beat him.

and the sonic series RULES! my friend has a sega genesis but he moved. and personally i liked the music in the knuckles stages in sa2b! i have hat game and i forgot where exactly i am at, but i have two evolved chao, a hero normal and a dark normal, plus some other various chao...im waiting for sonic adventure dx and sonic advance 2 to come out...

Ok here's how. He will keep going back and forth. sometimes he will flip over then you attack. after you hit him once he will start to fire some energy balls at you. avoid them. when you get him down weak after you hit him he will come very fast at you. It only takes one or two hits after that

I emailed Nintendo, and asked them to contact Sega and ask them if they
were planning to make a Sonic Adventure 3 Battle, and if they were, were they going to put
if on Game Cube. And Nintendo replyed and said that there were no plans for a Sonic Adventure
3 Battle.

Oh and I love Chao too. You should see my two favorites, Dash and another Chao whose name
escapes me at the moment, because I haven't been to Chao world in a 2 weeks.
I can probably remember Dash's name because he was my first Chao. And he and another
Chao recently had a baby Chao, I'm so proud, it brings tears to my eyes.

"Batlle" wouldn't be attached to its name. It was attached to Sa2 on the gc's name because the two player mode was enhanced greatly. Try asking about just Sonic Adventure 3.
And it takes two hits after eggman starts going fast in cosmic angel, with all the hits, it takes a total of eight hits.

. Well, you don't do it the same way in each game, which keeps me from getting tired of them. They add replay value.

I don't mind Chaos Emeralds, I love it when Sonic changes,
maybe SA3 (if it comes out), everyone will change. But I

No, Backlash, sa3 is not being planned yet. Sadx is an (almost) perfect copy of sa1, although more missions are being added.

You know what? So many people have thought that, until they realized that Sega officially CONFIRMED THAT SA DX IS SONIC ADVENTURE 1. Duh, it's called "Press Release" and "Pictures" They're al over the net, do a google search for "Sonic Adventure DX Gamecube" You'll get the first 4 or so links be about the GC Sonic Adventure. It's also been officially confirmed in that same press release that there is NO, I repeat NO planned Sonic Adventure 3. If there's going to be one, I doubt they'll have everybody go Super, or even Hyper, because that would just mess up the whole game. I mean, I'll understand Sonic going Super in EVERY game, but not Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Cream (And Cheese? WTF would that look like!? *Imagines a Super Sayan Chao* Yuch... That's too... ...stupid...) Trust me, the quality of SA has about tripled into the conversion to SA DX, just look at the screenies. My Nights chao, Itsutan, beat the Light, Angel, and Devil chao today. He also beat level 5 Aquamarine and Garnet. He had already won all the topaz races. There's a chao that looks a LOT like Havoc's avatar. You get by raising a dark running to maturity and then, for the second evolution, give it a lot of everything.

Does anyone know if the debug code for Sonic3 & Knuckles works in Megacollection? I've been trying it for awhile and there is never a ring sound when I do the first part (stage select) and I've seen it on enough site's so that there can be little doubting its existense.
