I'm trying to compile a list of good image/file hosting services. What have you found, now that Geekshelf is down? Feel free to include services that only host certain types of images, but be sure to list those types. You may post services that may return, such as Geekshelf (which I have added), but they will go in an inactive services list. Please notify me either via PM or posting if the service returns. 1.) Boomspeed.com only lets you host image files.
2.) VillagePhotos.com only lets you host image files, and if you're caught disguising a non-image file as a image format (ex: disguising an MP3 and a .png image file) your account will be deleted immediately. |

Nah, Geocities has some kinda tight bandwidth limits too, if your site's heavily trafficked.. some guy stole a bunch of my 3D pics and I wrote a program that exceeded the site's bandwidth limits in about a minute.

if you have a neopets account and are in a guild you have 250kb for free guild image hosting. you can upload only gif or jpg images, and it must be appropriate, although it can be any topic.

I belive that if you're a member of the Lego club at lego.com, you can have a little club page, and host MOC pictures. But they have to check the pictures to make sure they're appropriate, and you can only put up three pictures at a time, they have to be JPG or GIF, and less than 80k, and no avatars. Sort of a "poor man's" Brickshelf.
