Lately there has been a rash of topics with the word "Official" prominently inserted. Looking at some of these, they are actually in no way official or sanctioned by the staff of BZPower, so it's time to implement a new guideline about use of this word.
An "Official" topic is one that:
Trying to make a topic seem as though it has the approval of BZP staff without taking steps to actually do so is not allowed, and is deceptive to fellow members. Before putting "official" or "authorized" or anything like that into your topic or topic header, you must get approval in writing from an admin or mod of that forum. And you must also put in the thread who authorized it. This is especially vital for contests, avatar shops, etc. where more control over a topic is necessary. Thank you for your help with this. - Binkmeister -------------------- |
