I think Matoro was destinied, instead of chosen. Makes sense. Matoro's destiny was to be chosen by the Ignika. The Kanohi still made a conscious choice. Actually, Bionicle beings are given their destinies as soon as they come into being. Matoro was always destined to use the Ignika, but "coincidentially" the Ignika chose him to be its carrier; like it could have chosen, say, Nuparu, as long as Matoro used it when they arrived to Karda Nui. When did I say anything that contradicted that? I said it was Matoro's destiny to be chosen by the Ignika. The Kanohi didn't know that, but out of all of the choices, it found him to be the most suitable. So, you're saying that Matoro's destiny was to be chosen by the Ignika as its user, right? I don't think the Ignika can pick the user, rather it has to be used by the one supposed to. Why not? We know that the Ignika chose Matoro and we know that it was Matoro's destiny to be chosen, so that means that it was Matoro's destiny to be chosen by the Ignika. Neither of then knew this however, but when the Ignika sensed Matoro, is must have known that "he was the one". I don't think Matoro's destiny was to use the Ignika and be chosen as its guardian. That would be having two different destinies for a single being. That's not two destinies, that's one destiny that requires multiple things to be done. For Matoro be able to wear the Ignika, he had to be chosen by said mask first. -------------------- ![]() Credit to Pohuaki for the awesome personal photo & banner! ^_^ |

Like how he created his Toa form from components in the water, he can most likely create a Turaga body.

Toa inika is not a proper Toa, just a body the Ignika created, so no.

QUOTE QUOTE Greg, No, Ignika is going to be busyOne question. Could the toa ignika teleport the Toa Nuva out of Karda Nui( Kind of like the mahri, when matoro used the Ignika)? Thanks, -SK This seems like a good place to put this quote. What do you think that "he" will be busy with. -SK With awakening Mata Nui. I was under the impression that the Ignika wouldn't be directly involved in awakening Mata Nui, so maybe he'll be taking on all of the Makuta while the Av-Matoran escape? -------------------- ![]() Credit to Pohuaki for the awesome personal photo & banner! ^_^ |

i wonder if it wanted Vezon to find it because it knew vezon was strong enough to keep it. i mean, it has (as the set shows) melded to his face, and so its a part of him, a mean (not green) fightin machine. It would be almost impossible for someone to take it when it was on there. They could rip it off his head -------------------- ![]() -Airoski Productions- |

I noticed somthing strange, and while I bet it's been noticed, I'm not positive. Does anyone else see the shape of a Toa in the most recent form of the MOL, and if so, that it matches the rock in the Karda-Nui swamp?
Just wondering... -------------------- The Redwall RPG; closed now, new version is probably dead, though I might work with the others on a epilogue
Update: Currently writing Redwall Epilogue.... If you have an interest in reviving the RPG, PM me. Credit to Supernova Productions and Expired! for the Avatar. 0-- --0 |
