1. lol mj
2. Think of all of the comic topics that have been made. Imagine the utter chaos if people just let topics die and then revived them a year later. Who really wants to see pages on end of comic topics with inactive authors? I think the purpose of the revival limit is to pick out dedicated authors who are willing to try and keep their topic alive. 3. Honestly, comics usually don't take that long. You could just update once a week, or you could just keep churning out three panel comics. 4. As to the real life thing, it would be pretty hard to let a topic die considering you can double post for new material. Fans will comment, you can respond to comments, and you get 20 days. In between all that you'd probably only have to make a comic every month. QUOTE 1. lol mj Yes, I see the connotation with those initials... QUOTE 2. Well, then what makes epic or comedy writers any different? Are their forums utter chaos? If so, why not impose the 20-day rule on those forums to pick out dedicated authors who are willing to try and keep their topic alive? The way I see it, the Library and Artwork III should both have the rule exemption, ro none at all. QUOTE 3. Honestly, comics usually don't take that long. You could just update once a week, or you could just keep churning out three panel comics. This highly depends on circumstance. It also depends on how your comic is created. I do realize that some styles take less time than others. QUOTE 4. As to the real life thing, it would be pretty hard to let a topic die considering you can double post for new material. Fans will comment, you can respond to comments, and you get 20 days. In between all that you'd probably only have to make a comic every month. Luckily this is true. |

![]() Since this has already been discussed to death, and no one posted the right answer... If you're going to ignore your topic for a while, have it temporarily closed, and re-open it later. If a comic has any popularity, it will accumulate "when's the next comic?" posts, which I'll have to delete. Yes, it can be that bad, and yes, people will keep doing it for months. I see more hand drawn comics here than I expect to, but they rarely get attention. Maybe there should be a way of flagging them in the title. -------------------- |

Not to seem rude, Pohuaki, but why do we have revial here, but not in the BZP Library? The things here and there both can not be forced out. Why can we have forever over there, but have to force our brains to turn out something with in 20(30?) days?
