Updated! New topic Here

Hey guys! I come to you now with my BBC contest entry:

Gallergy link: Here (when public) Sorry for the few blurry ones. I am still getting used to my picture taking... I have room to improve. Also, the amount of black didn't help much.

Mullatem is a dark hunter who has control over all metals. Though he can't actually create metal, he can manipulate it. He never speaks, and usually chooses to fight alone, and only takes a "buddy" along when he can use him to distract the enemy. Though silent, he has a savage nature, and there is usually nothing left of the victim. What type of weapon does he use? Ah, no one knows, for he never takes one into battle, he is always alone, and whenever he does take along another being, that being never does return. It is thought that Mullatem creates weapons from out of the metal in his armor... Whatever it is, it's deadly.

Well, I had quite a fun time building this guy. I began by trying to come up with a good hand design. I trashed at least six before I got a good one, and the forearm came with it. Then the upper arm came into being, and then I had to make a skeleton like brace for the body while I built the legs. Then I duplicated both arm and leg, and thus had a very skinny, yet strong titan. I then made the body, which actually fell together rather well. Then... the head. Arg. My least favorite part. However, I was able to pull it off rather nicely I think. The hardest part was getting the right sort of eye. Originally, I was planning on using two eyes, but that just wasn't working. I am rather pleased with the result.

Now, I must say right off that I do not think that this guy is perfect. Nope. However, I believe that I have made a significant jump in the evolution of my MoCing skills. In this MoC I really tried using a lot of small pieces to make a larger being. He possesses 15 points of articulation (not including the fingers!). You see, not only can the elbows bend like usual, but the forearms can also twist all the way around. I hope that you can see that in the pictures... Anyway, I hope that you guys like him, and I look forward to any advice or (constructive) criticism that you might have for me.

I would like to give a big thank you to ToM Dracone as well as a few other members who have influenced my building. I hope to improve in the days to come! Of course, I shall probably be smashed by The Godfather or DV...

I look forward to your comments. laugh.gif
