6th Chapter
You can go a long way with a smile. You can go a lot farther with a smile and a gun. Al Capone, US gangster (1899 - 1947) It was raining. The Orb and Alki the Ta-Matoran were sitting in a white, unmarked van parked on a street in a poor part of the BBC forum, outside of a rundown old house. "Are you sure this is where Smeagol4 told us to go?" said the Orb as he watched a TV monitor displaying the street outside, “And why do we have to follow Ninjo, anyway?” “Because Six told us to, that’s why!” replied Alki, who was watching a different TV. “Apparently, Ninjo sent some letters to a few people asking them to meet him in that house over there. That’s all I was told.” Alki’s cellphone started to ring. “Hello?” “How’s everything going over there?” It was Smeagol4, the head of BZ-Metru’s intelligence department. Alki tensed up. “Uh, everything’s going just fine sir. Nothing out of the ordinary.” “Has anyone gone into the house yet?” “No one.” “Ninjo?” “Not yet sir.” “Call me if you see anything. I’m going to check in again in thirty minutes.” “Yes sir.” He hung up and put his phone into his pocket. “That was Smeag. He’s going to call back in half an hour.” The Orb didn’t hear him. He was focused on the TV. “What is it?” asked Alki as he walked over to his friend. “There are five men over there in front of the house, wearing black raincoats and gloves. They’re looking right at us.” “Do they look dangerous?” “I can’t tell… four of them just went inside. The one that’s still outside just took out a gun. It looks like he’s just guarding the door.” “I’ll call Smeag.” Alki dialed Smeag’s number and waited for him to answer. “Hello?” “Five people just arrived. Four went inside and left one to guard the gun. He has a shotgun.” “This could be what we’ve been waiting for. Try to sneak up on the guard and capture him. I’ll be there in twenty minutes.” Smeag hung up and Alki did likewise. “He says to sneak up on the guard, and that he’ll be here soon.” “Let’s go then!” said the Orb, taking a pistol from his belt. Alki took a submachine gun from the wall of the van. They exited from the back. The street was lined with cars, giving them cover while they planned what to do. “I’ll distract him, while you go around from the back and capture him. Got it?” whispered the Orb. Alki nodded. The Orb stood up and put his pistol back into his belt. He walked over to the guard, pretending to be lost. “Hey, you! I’ve never been in this part of town and I seem to be lost. Can you point me in the direction of 223 Technic Street?” While he was speaking, The Orb tried to get a good view of the guard’s face. He had never seen him before. “Sorry buster, I’m not from around here myself. Go ask somewhere else,” replied the guard. “Heh, I guess I’ll try that gas station up the street. Say, what’s with the gun?” “That’s none of your business. Now scram before I call an FA.” The guard turned away from The Orb… to come face to face with Alki. He fired his shotgun, hitting Alki in the arm. The Orb and Alki ran back to the other side of the street, the guard firing his gun at them as they ran. They dove behind their van. “Are you okay?” asked The Orb as Alki clutched his bleeding arm. “Yeah, I’ll be fine.” “It doesn’t look like it. Hold on, I’ll wrap that up.” The Orb took a knife from his belt and cut sleeve from the uninjured side of Alki’s shirt. He rolled the other sleeve up and wrapped the cut cloth around the wound. “That’s the best I can do for now.” “I’m fine!” “If you say so. But get back into the van.” Alki left his submachine gun on the ground and climbed into the van using his good arm. The Orb stood back up and peered around the side of the van. The other four men who had gone into the house were outside with the guard, each holding a handgun. One was motioning for the others to spread out. The Orb thought for a moment. What could he do? He was hopelessly out numbered; he would soon be killed if he tried to fight. If he didn’t fight, the men across the street would probably kill him and Alki. He would fight. So he crouched behind a car, grabbed Alki’s gun, started firing. The men across the street fired back, their bullets shattering the windows of the car The Orb was behind. Pieces of glass hit him in the arm. A bullet hit him in the chest. He started to black out. As he slipped into the cold grasp of death, he fired his gun one last time. That last shot found its mark, hitting one of the men in the leg. *** By the time Smeagol4 arrived at the scene, the men were gone and the house empty. Alki was found in the van, unconscious, and was taken to a hospital. He made a full recovery a month later. Unknown to all, however, was the fact that the letters Ninjo had sent out were decoys, sent to fake addresses. While the events in the BBC forum were distracting the administration, a real meeting was taking place on the other side of the forum. 9th Chapter.
It is well that war is so terrible - otherwise we would grow too fond of it. Robert E. Lee, Statement at the Battle of Fredericksburg (13th December 1862) US-Confederate general (1807 - 1870) 7:00 PM Dimensioneer and Rama Swarm sat in Dimensioneer’s living room in the Admin’s Palace. They were going over the next step of their plan, making sure it was foolproof. They had it mapped out so far that if any part of the plan failed, they had another plan to back it up, and a back up for that. They were ready for anything. Ninjo walked into the room, carrying two cups of coffee. “If you two are done with me, I’m going to the Control Room to start the next phase,” said Ninjo, setting the coffees on the table. He walked out of the room. Dimensioneer turned to Rama. “Rama, there’s something I need to tell you. And you can’t tell anyone else.” “What?” “Ever since that day five years ago when I came up with the foundation for this plan, I’ve been worried that the virus in Ninjo was going to become weak enough that I would lose control of him.” “So?” “Well… I think the exact opposite is happening. As you know, the virus only has control of his body, not the mind. But I think that somehow, some way, the virus is infecting his mind and killing the part of the real Ninjo that’s still in his mind,” said Dimensioneer. “How is this important?” replied Rama, sipping at his coffee. “If what I just described happens, we could lose control of Ninjo altogether.” “And?” “If that happened while the plan is still being executed, the virus, using Ninjo’s body, could take total control of the site, destroying all we’ve worked for.” “How can we stop that from happening?” “There’s only one way I know,” said Dimensioneer, “We have kill Ninjo.” *** At 9:00 PM on the night after EW had visited Six, members watching TV were interrupted by reporters xccj and ChocolateFrogs, who appeared on video screens and TVs all across BZ-Metru. “A terrible incident is currently happening in the New Member Question and Answer forum. We’re not sure exactly what’s happening, but apparently a few government soldiers have started terrorizing the forum,” said xccj. “The forum has been placed in lockdown and no one is being allowed in or out. Luckily, our mobile reporting unit arrived before it was locked. We'll go to them shortly,” said ChocolateFrogs. “A few minutes ago,” said xccj, reading a paper that was in front of him, “the Admin’s Palace released a statement regarding the events in the NM Q&A. It says that Black Six has sent the first division of the BZ-Metru military corps to quote ‘crack down on the New Member Question and Answer forum and show the member what will happen if they don’t show respect.’” “This doesn’t seem like something Six would do,” said ChocolateFrogs, turning to xccj. “But for more on what exactly is happening in the NM Q&A, we go now live to ToM Dracone. ToM?” The picture switched to a part of NM Q&A forum that had already been hit and was now relatively deserted. ToM Dracone stood in the middle of a barren street with burned, half destroyed buildings in the background. “I’m here in what used to be a densely populated are of the forum, which is now no more than a pile of burning rubble. Only thirty minutes ago, soldiers were destroying houses and other buildings for no apparent reason. Since that report xccj read was released, the citizens of the forum have started to fight back, lead by a forum assistant named Bfahome. Thanks to his and other members efforts, the soldiers have been driven back to the edge of the forum and have started to leave. Back to you two.” “Thank’s ToM. We’ve tried to reach the Admin’s Palace, but they were unavailable for comment. We expect a press conference to be held sometime tomorrow morning. Now, we will pause for a commercial break and will return shortly.” *** Black Six had been reading a book and had decided to watch some TV. When the news report came on, he rushed to the phone and made three phone calls. He called Kaiapu first, telling the assistant admin to recall the soldiers. He then called Toaraga and told the global moderator to meet Six in his suite. Lastly, he called an OBZPC. To get the member’s phone number, he had to dig through his garbage can and retrieve a slip of paper. “Hello,” Six said, “Is this Emperor Whenua?” Review Topic This post has been edited by Snoopy82: Sep 1 2008, 07:17 AM -------------------- |

Tenth Chapter
Rama Swarm and Dimensioneer walked down a deserted street in General Discussion, heading toward the BZ-Metru Courthouse. They were discussing what Dimensioneer had said about killing Ninjo. “Why didn’t you do it last night? Why did you let him go through with this?” asked Rama. “I can’t do it yet. We still need him for the next few parts of the plan. After that, I’ll kill him.” “If you say so.” “Come on, we don’t want to be late.” *** 45 Minutes Earlier Toaraga reached Six’s suite within a few minutes, and found that there was another man already there: Emperor Whenua. He was sitting next to Six on the couch. When Toaraga arrived Six and EW stood and walked over to him. “Glad you made it so fast, Toaraga. This is Emperor Whenua. He’s my newly appointed chief adviser.” “But… I thought I was your chief adviser, sir,” stammered Toaraga, not sure what was happening. “You were. You’ve been promoted to administrator. You’ll be taking Ninjo’s suite in the morning.” “I- uh- thank you, sir,” said Toaraga, who from that moment felt ten times more powerful because of administrative powers. “But where is Ninjo going to stay?” “Nowhere,” said Six. “I would have done this earlier, but I need at least two witnesses to do this.” “Do what, sir?” asked EW. “I’m going to demote Ninjo to a normal member.” Toaraga was taken aback. “Why, sir?” “Because he’s obviously out of his head. There’s been nothing but trouble since he returned, and I believe he’s the cause of it.” “Why don’t you just ban him, and why do you need two witnesses?” asked Toaraga, still confused. “Because he’s become so popular, if I banned him the people would revolt. The reason I need you two as witnesses is because well, that’s the law. Whenever a staff member is demoted, but that member isn’t present, there need to be at least two people present for it to become official.” “If you say so,” said Toaraga. “Go ahead and do it.” Six raised his hand above his head. EW handed him a book of ceremonies that was opened to the chapter “Demotion of Staff.” It was such a rare occasion that Six didn’t have the chapter memorized. “I, Black Six, as administrator of the nation of BZ-Metru, Forum Leader of all forums, and News Manager, I hereby demote Ni-” Six was interrupted by the ringing of a cell phone. He pulled his out of his pocket and opened it. Kaiapu was at the other end. “Sir, Ninjo! He- you’ll never- and- now-” Kaiapu sounded shocked. “Calm down, Kaiapu! What about Ninjo?” “He called a Staff Senate session into order, and all staff have to report to the BZ-Metru Courthouse within one hour!” Six’s jaw dropped open. The Staff Senate was extremely serious, and was only called into session when an administrator had urgent news for the staff. Only two had ever occurred in the history of BZ-Metru. “I’ll… I’ll be there, Kaiapu. I’ll see you in an hour.” Six hung up and thought for a moment. EW and Toaraga stood in silence, wondering what the conversation had been about. “It appears,” said Six, “That Ninjo has called the Staff Senate into session. Be there in one hour.” *** The BZ-Metru Courthouse was full of staff members. They were each sitting silently with their partners from each forum. Hahli Husky and her assistant librarians from the Library, bonesiii and his assistants from S&T, and so on. They all sat at desks that were configured in a semi circle, facing the back wall. Against the wall was a longer table, behind which sat five of the six administrators: Black Six, Dimensioneer, Tufi Piyufi, Kaiapu, and the newly appointed Toaraga. Six sat in the center of them, next to Toaraga. “Where is he?” muttered Six to Toaraga. “He calls us out here like this and then makes us wait another hour!” As if on cue, the doors of the Courthouse swung open to reveal Ninjo, dressed in all black. He smiled as he walked up to the place where the administrators sat and sat down next to Six. Relived to finally be able to start, Six banged his gavel on the desk. “I now call the third BZ-Metru Staff Senate Session into order.” Review Topic This post has been edited by Snoopy82: Sep 4 2008, 10:20 PM -------------------- |

This chapter is not meant to insult Black Six in any way. All elements of Ninjo’s speech are entirely fictitious and do not reflect the opinion of the author.
Chapter 11 Speak the truth, but leave immediately after. --Slovenian Proverb “As the one who called us all here, Ninjo, you have the floor,” said Six. Ninjo stood and walked out in front of the admin’s table. He turned to face the assorted Staff members and began a speech that would change the history of BZ-Metru. “Distinguished Staff members, and distinguished administrators,” he added, looking over his shoulder, “I called you here tonight to talk to you about the current state of affairs in our beloved country of BZ-Metru. “As you all by now know, there was a vicious attack on the New Member Question and Answer forum. The main intent of this attack was to strike fear into the citizen’s hearts and show domination over them. Whoever authorized this attack truly had a sick mind. “Friends, the attack was commanded by none other than Black Six.” The staff members gasped. Could Black Six really have done this? “Ridiculous! I never did anything of the sort,” exclaimed Six, standing. “Show me proof.” Ninjo smiled. “If you insist, Six.” He took a typed, folded piece of paper from his jacket pocket. He unfolded it and held it out in front of the staff. “I have here a document containing orders to attack New Member Q&A, signed by Black Six himself! The signature has been confirmed to be his by experts in the Admin’s Coliseum.” The staff were starting to believe Ninjo, and were beginning to have their doubts about Six. “So you see, Six is not the kind administrator that we thought he was. You should be glad that I returned when I did, or else his evil might have gone unnoticed until too late. “There are many more cruel actions that he has planned. The attack is just the first in a long line of more like it. Artwork was next, then the Library, then General Discussion itself. “He has been holding information from all of you. For several weeks now, there has been a virus lurking the streets of BZ-Metru.” Cries of shock and anger filled the room. Six slammed his gavel down on the table, trying to restore order, but it was hopeless. He looked at Ninjo, who had turned to face him. “How did you know? I never told you, Ninjo.” “Do you see? He never even told me! A full fledged administrator! This proves his deception! I had to find out about this myself! Who knows what other vital secrets he is keeping from you? “He made Screenguy and Gatanui, may they rest in peace, work endless hours trying to trace the source of the virus. Just when they got close to a breakthrough, he killed them in cold blood! There is evidence to back me up if you don’t believe me! He left his sword, which is marked with the initials ‘B6’ at the scene of the crime! “This madman must be kept from destroying the great BZ-Metru! Leave him, and turn to me! I can lead you to peace and harmony, and create a site that will forever be free!” He held up his hands to silence the yelling staff members. “I urge you all to follow my example.” He then turned to face Black Six and the other administrators. “As Forum Leader of the Bionicle Based Creations forum, I hereby declare it its own country under my rule.” With that, he turned, walked down the isle between desks, and left the Courthouse. *** The whole room exploded into shouts of anger, shock, and argument. Six didn’t even bother to try to restore order. He was too shocked at what Ninjo had just done. Emzee, a newly Forum Leader, slammed his hand on his desk. “Fan Created Games and Software secede and are now under the rule of Ninjo, and Ninjo alone!” He and his assistants walked out. Many other Forum Leaders followed suit, each claiming that their forums were now under the rule of Ninjo. When it was all said and done, there were only a few FLs and their assistants left. Pohauki of Artwork, Bonesiii of S&T and the Reference Center, Smeagol4 and Hahli Husky of the Library, and Takuta-Nui of Promotions and Books/Movies. BZ-Metru had lost almost half its forums in hour. *** Dimensioneer watched the entire scene, satisfied. Ninjo had performed well, convincing half of the FLs. Perhaps he wouldn’t need to be killed after all. Dimensioneer mentally memorized the names of each FL to secede, so that he could send a letter to them at a later date. He was surprised at a few of them, such as Kex and Shannara, who seemed like they would follow Six no matter what. It looked like they had other ideas. What was even more surprising was that Kaiapu had walked out as well. Dimensioneer had always thought of him as a devoted follower of Six. Ah well, all the more power for us. Dimensioneer wanted to leave with everyone else, but if he did, he wouldn’t have access to the Admin’s palace, which he need in order for the plan to succeed. Ninjo had been flawless, almost perfect. This left Dimensioneer in wonder. It definitely looked like the helpful, nice side of Ninjo was gone, but it hadn’t been replaced by a rebellious spirit, like Dimensioneer had thought. Suddenly, a thought hit him. Was it possible that the virus had already died, and that it had left such a scar on Ninjo that he actually believed what Dimensioneer was telling him to do was right? If that was the case, there was no way Dimensioneer could loose. Victory was as good as his. Review Topic This post has been edited by Snoopy82: Sep 7 2008, 09:44 PM -------------------- |
