I will get the Makuta! And I will live!!! On Thursday that is. Darn. I need a job even if Im only 12. Im going to buy Makuta, Takanuva, Pewku, and Gukko on Thursday or Friday. And hopefully be able to get the new matoran in 10 weeks allowance
 hehe. But these reveiw are really bringing me to my point of exploding. I need them! I cant wait to see the review for Takutanuva. My dad is going to buy it for me for my birthday instead of a turtle (first expeirence of getting a turtle though Im not going to get it anyway). Which saves my family alot of money. Though I still want a turtle. But I still want...Me and my rambling. Let me stop. To end this I will say great review and I want it along with Takanuva and these other things. Done! -the ChE@Po! Well, I just got Makuta today and he...is...AWESOME!! And just as evil-looking as in the pics! I would agree with what's written in the review about him being constructed from "whatever's lying around." The only new piece that I could find was his Krahkaan. Still, it's a very, very cool set.
I used one of his hands to make Takanuva powerless .

I love the use of the Mask of Light as claws. His legs look a bit wobbly though, like its jello. If the legs were fixed, I'd give it 9/10.

Makuta was definately worth the money. Though it's kinda funny...cause Makuta costs less than Takanuva...even though he has two more pieces...hmm.
My only problem is that the arms are a bit tough to pose. But boy does he have one heck of a swing when you use his gear gimmick. The pieces are an MOCers dream come true (though i doubt anyone would want to take this guy apart) I'm getting ready to build Takutanuva this weekend...after seeing a few better pics, he is actually quite a bit different from Makuta himself. -------------------- |

Not as in-depth as the other ones, but it still tells what it's about. I like how you didn't just spew praise about it. I admit, Makuta is a cool set, but um.... I expected him to be bigger. Lots bigger. I mean like the Bahrag sized Exo-Suit with a fikou on it's head type big. Not a little taller than Takanuva. Man this set looks awesome. I'd buy it now, but I have to wait a month before buying anything (Mom's rules), and I'm waiting for Takutanuva to come out in Toy'R'Us. By the way, does anyone know when he's coming out, or how much he'll be, or how much Takanuva is? And I have a theory about Makuta's two-way Mask. The Takutanuva set has Takutanuva's Mask, but not everyone will get it. Maybe Makuta's Mask point forward is used for Makuta, and point up for Takutanuva. After all, in the review, it said that Makuta's Mask point up looks similar to the Kanohi Avohkii. But that's just my opinion.

You guys are sooo lucky! In SA Makuta costs R220!! I was lucky enough to get mine on lay-buy... I'm actually going to go fetch him after work!! Yay!!!
I remember from reading the review, the reviewer was concerned about the "pieced together" look of Makuta. I saw the movie on Friday and was glad to see that he did actually look like that. Aiii -------------------- Only users lose drugs!

Woohoo!
I got my Makuta yesterday! Took about an hour to build. I'm well impressed by his size and "intimidation factor". The only down side is the fact that it is really hard to set him into certain poses because of his rotating waist. A piece of cardboard wedged between the gears fixed that minor annoyance... DEFINITELY WORTH THE MONEY!! -------------------- Only users lose drugs!
