The latest card game incarnation spawned from the Bionicle franchise was released into the wild just a couple of short weeks ago, and BZPower is the first to bring you a full review.

Please post your comments, questions, or feedback about this story here.

Hmm...I doubt a card game could be as much fun as the Board Game (which I dearly love to bits...), the thought of playing it with the actual Toa Nuva, snapping their body parts on and off sounds highly entertaining!

Well done review, Big D!
Although that great big laugh in the middle...well...it scared me to death! unsure.gif
The game sounds like a blast to play with Bionicle enthiusiasts(spelling?).
One thing i'd change is including the hip joints and shoulder joints with the arms and the legs, i got the impression that the card game didnt. Pullin legs and arms outta those joints constantly is a good way to break your precious hip joints.
And i happen to think that raking the yard is fun!

I like it but it doesn't looks very collectible unlike the quest for the masks and bohrok ones this doesn't seem like it has good collecting cards like lewa and bonus, but still it would be fun to play.

After reading the review...I'm still confused as to if it's worth it to involve the actual figures... laugh.gif j/k

Man, D! You really do like tearing apart Nuva. So how many times did you child have to "cripple" his Toa.

Looks fun! If I have an opprotunity to play it, I'll give it a shot...but as of now money's tight.

Thanks for the info, D! You do reviews right. biggrin.gif

I will still buy it but I would have been happier if it was compatible with the QftM. That means that there are two card games now, and one board game. Sounds cool, D, although rather simplistic.

Nice review. But I think I agree with RapToa.I don't really like snapping out my ball joints if I don't have to.If I do play with the toys I will probably keep them with the hip joints because it's much easier to take it off a plus-rod.But you're right. It's fun to watch people have to tear it apart again after they just put it back together! laugh.gif (I miss the evilgrin emoticon).I would get a deck but the problem is I don't have many people to play it with so I probably won't.But it does seem like a very good game I'm glad you don't have to read a 20-30 page rulebook. angry.gif

Nice review, D! It's my policy to never buy a Bionicle product without reading your review first! sly.gif Not really, but I really do trust your estimation of this game. It does seem rather simplistic, but FUN! Especially the second way! biggrin.gif

It would be so fun to play it with my little sisters and make them take their Toa Nuva apart! laugh.gif Who'd you play it with, anyway, D? Did you force your wife or kids to play it with you? tongue.gif

Thanks for the review!

Yes, my good sport of a wife was again my game review victim.

In fact, the first time we played, she beat me!

Thanks for taking the time to make the review, and thanks for the review itself, D! That sounds fun, watching the Toa being built then making them rip themselves apart again, piece by piece, heeheeheeheeheehee!

Great review D! I wasnt gonna buy it but now i probably will. The one thing that i was wondering was if it came with masks like in the old game (that was the only way i could find that white kakama), because that would make it even more worth it. It would be even better if it came with 2 nuva too...

Boy, yeah I'd say that if it came with two Toa Nuva for the $9.95 MSRP that would certainly be worth it! smile.gif

No, the only things included are those pictured in the review.
