yes, because we all know how often he does that...and how little he says things like "Can't answer that"

QUOTE QUOTE 1. While Takanuva was falling through interdimmensional space, was he coated in some sort of radiation, like Doctor Who with the void stuff? If no, and it's completely empty, how did he breath? Did he really hold his breath that long? 2. Have you started another chapter of the serials yet, or are you working on 2009/2010 stuff? 3. If one's concentration is broken while wearing a Kaukau underwater, would it stop working and they drown, or would it keep working? 4. Have you ever thought of putting how the actual set is like into the story? What I mean by this is Hahli's and Lesovikk's weak lime green parts, or was this already done when Lesovikk took a hit from the ice dagger? 5. Has the trader from Stelt fixed his roof yet? 6. Was Miserix still green on Stelt? 1) Why do you assume there is no air in interdimensional space? ID space is not the same as outer space, it's not a vacuum. 2) I just finished part 2 of DiD 3) It would stop working 4) Right, I am going to call attention to weak parts in a LEGO set in a story -- that would be smart of me. 5) No, it just got torn off. Takes a long time to fix a roof. 6) Yes -------------------- Ahhhh, clutter! Wall of text! Help me! Please!

Here's some stuff about the Codrex.
Hi Greg, I have a few questions about the Codrex. 1. It was made by the Great beings correct? 2. Is it made of stone or metal? 3. Why exactly does the Codrex not protect living beings inside it, and just equipment inside from the storm? 3a. Axalara and Adaptive armor are both protosteel, so shouldn't the adaptive armor help the toa survive while in the Codrex because it's protosteel and it can Adapt? 4. If the Toa Nuva took refuge in the Codrex with Adaptive armor, would they survive the storm? Thank you for your time, I hope you can answer these. 1) Correct 2) Metal 3) Because the shielding of it is insufficient to protect living things. The only living things ever intended to be inside of it were the Mata in their canisters 3a) No, because the armor is not strong enough to protect against the storm. 4) No Hi Greg, thanks for the answer about the Codrex, I have 1 quick question. 1. Is the 4 armed OoMN member possibly one of Nocturn's species, since Nocturn has 4 arms? 2. Will the OoMN try recruit more of Botar's species? 3. When Nocturn Broke his Island in half, are there still parts of it left or did it completely sink/get destroyed. 3a. Is any of Nocturn's species still alive?(besides him) Thank you for your time. Also I just got this..... 1) No 2) Possible, but who knows if his species is interested in getting involved in a full-scale war? It may be that there are individual members, like Botar, who care about the rest of the universe, but that the rest of the species as a whole only cares about their own island. 3) Destroyed 3a) Possibly, yes This post has been edited by Toa Razek: Aug 23 2008, 09:12 PM -------------------- If you play Runescape, send me a PM.

Just got this back from Greg:
QUOTE QUOTE Hey, Greg, first of all I just want to thank you for your patience on the subject of the leaked pictures. I, for one, know how frustrating it is working with stubborn kids ( With that said, I have two questions regarding the T vehicles that I've been wondering about for a little while: 1.) Will we ever find out what the numbers after each of the T vehicles' names mean? 2 a.) In Legends 10 it is stated that the Toa find several 'machines' in the open part of the Codrex. This is referring to the T vehicles, yes? 2 b.)If so, why did it say 'several'? Are there more than three, or am I just thinking too much? Once again, thank you for your patience on this site, and good luck dealing with the massive amount of PMs you must be receiving. 1) The different T designations refer to the engine power 2a) No, they did not find the vehicles when they were first in the Codrex. It was not referring to the vehicles, to other machinery. If the vehicles aren't the machinery, then what is the machinery? O_o [/mysterious] |

Jungle? They had to get rid of one of the best elements of all time and replace it with this 'jungle'? Despite how angry I am at the loss of air, Bionicle must know what its doing. Well, good anwsers atleast. On Topic: Loyal doesnt mean Trinuma is not evil. We do not know who's side he is loyal to. For all we know, Trinuma could be loyal to the Brotherhood. Just because Trinuma said that Vezon was going to betray the OoMN and the universe doesnt mean hes evil! I think he is doing it for a very good reason! Its all part of the plan! -------------------- |

I, for one, am positively thrilled to see that the presence of jungle is returned. I also like the general feel of this upcoming year VERY much like 2001. The battle game sounds neat, too-another aspect of 01 that Bionicle has lacked for a time. Disk launchers were about the last sport-type thing we saw until now... -------------------- ![]() |

You might find this little goody on Makuta substance interesting:
QUOTE QUOTE QUOTE QUOTE Alright, to my understanding, the gaseous substance dubbed "antidermis" is the physical essence of a Makuta, correct? Green, swirly gas that inhabits specially crafted armor allowing the Makuta to move. Well, that substance can leave its main shell to travel to new ones (to my understanding). Just how far could antidermis travel before it dissipated and the Makuta died? Is it even possible for the antidermis to be taken out of a Makuta's body against their will? By that, I mean could a foe break through the armor, allowing the substance to leak out. Thank you, ~Javi 1) Yes, if you pierce the armor, the antidermis will leak out. 2) A Makuta can survive outside of a body for a few weeks. After that, the antidermis will dissipate and the Makuta will die. Okay; just a follow-up: how many miles per hour could antidermis travel, and can it inhabit any body, not just robotic ones? Basically, can any Makuta do what Teridax did in taking over living, thinking bodies such as the Voya Nui Matoran. Okay, second question first -- you are talking apples and oranges a little bit, because the antidermis used on the Voya Nui Matoran did not "take them over." It simply made them susceptible to suggestion. They would follow orders from a Toa, a Piraka, anyone -- Makuta was not in control of them. I do not have an MPH for antidermis, but I can tell you Makuta can possess two kinds of bodies -- a robot body, or a living body that has no spirit in it. ~Javi |

Jovan's Mask:
QUOTE QUOTE QUOTE QUOTE I have only one question: Is Jovan's mask organic, or he just wears it in the combiner because that was the only one? It was a combo of 2006 sets, so that's what the model builders had to work with Would anyone else in the Bionicle Universe have an Organic Mask, or just the Inika because they were transformed by the red star? Jungle could just be another word for "plant life", you know. Besides, look at my little timeline of presumed fan reactions: 2001: Woah! Cool! 2002: Hmm... new enemies? Cool! And look, the Toa transformed! Awesome! 2003: Recolors? Meh. Cool powers. And OMG Rahkshi! And Makuta! 2004: High-tech city? Oh noes, Bionicle is RUINED! 2005: OK, it was ruined. But what's this? Mutated Toa? Bionicle is RUINED! 2006: Ah, good. Back to the Nuva. Jaller & co = strange Toa? Weird grinning Piraka in a darker storyline? Bionicle is RUINED! Cool sets, though. 2007: Underwater... Bionicle jumped the shark! 2008: Ugly Nuva! Weird Makuta! Bionicle is RUINED! 2009: Oh no! More changes that we know barely anything about! Bionicle is RUINED! RUINED, I say! As a fan who's liked almost everything in the story so far apart from the beastly Hordika, I'll just wait until we know what's actually going on with voicing my opinion. BZP seems to yell that "Bionicle is RUINED!" every time something new is introduced. May be gross overgeneralization, but meh. You only hear from those who complain, so my view is limited. BZP usually says that after seeing the the hero sets. Ever since the Metru saga, I never heard of BZPers complaining about villains. They compalined about Gorast right? by the way QUOTE Hey Greg! Just thought up of some questions ^^ 1. Can Teridax/a Makuta Shapeshift into Mata-Nui? 2. Did Gorast Transform into Helryx in BIA chapter 1? 3. hmmm Im just guessing... If you cant answer this just tell me the usual: is Mata-Nui the old character in 2009 (since Mata-Nui was revealed since 2001) 4. How does jebraz become invisible? 5. will we ever see the oter 2 OoMN members who created the Atlas? 6. Are Great Beings Bigger than Mata-Nui? Thanks for Reading and answering GregF ! 1) No. It would require way too much additional mass to achieve that. 2) No 3) I can't discuss 2009 4) He became invisible as the result of experiments to enhance his powers 5) No idea 6) Can't answer it EDIT: Im also one of those old fans way back from 2001 (I bought all the throwbots too)!! My first set was Gali! so its OK to have jungle in 2009 ^^ ... Kinda offtopic >> This post has been edited by Makuta_Gorast: Aug 30 2008, 08:24 PM |

Here's a conversation I had with Greg. There's one answer of somewhat importance, but the others are just minor.
QUOTE QUOTE QUOTE QUOTE Hey Greg. I know you're super-busy, and I appreciate the time you take out of your busy schedule to answer our questions. It means a lot to me, and to Bzpers in general. I'm sorry if you got this PM already; you've been answering other people's PMs, so I wasn't sure with the server being what it is. 1. What was Lesovikk's team's purpose? 2. In City of the Lost, in the 80,000 year flashback, the Barraki are studying tablets. One has key locations on the central continent. Is this the northern continent, or are there three? (Northern, Central, Southern) 3. Due to the merging of Takutanuva, does Takanuva know Teridax's real name? 4. Was the place where the Dark Hunter Spinner fell into a near-bottomless pit his homeland, or a place his team was visiting? 5. Recently I had the crazy idea that I wanted to draw a comic of Federation of Fear. I'll be asking you questions when I hit snags, and I hit a snag in Chapter 2 with the Steltian trader: the Sidorak/Voporak physical discontinuity. I understand that Voporak has been mutated, but you also said that he doesn't necessarily look all that different than before. For the most part, they look the same, but two things have been bugging me. One, his head. This makes no sense to me whatsoever, unless it was changed when he was mutated. He looks more like Roodaka in that respect than Sidorak. So, is it safe to assume that his head was changed when he was mutated? On a side note, Roodaka was part of that mutation. I know this sounds like a suggestion, but hear me out. Voporak looks slightly like a Vortixx. I could see Roodaka making sure her handiwork showed as part of his mutation, so she changed his head to something resembling a Vortixx. Would that part be possible? Secondly, Voporak's second set of arms can be considered part of his mutation as well, not natural, right? Thank you for your time, especially on #5. 1) Do you mean their destiny or what their job was? 2) Southern. 3) No. If he had that kind of access to information, he would also know Teridax's plan, yet he does not 4) Visiting 5a) Yes 5b) Yes 5c) Correct. When in doubt, go with Sidorak as your model, as he is a pure example of his species. Again, sorry if you already have this; you can never tell with the darn server... 1. Well, seven of their destinies were to be killed by Zyglak, so, what was their job? 1a. Is Lesovikk's destiny to help refill the Pit? 5b. Okay; does this mean Vortixx males have crests instead of the ponytails the females have? New one: 1. I don't recall if this has been adressed officially - is Nektann male or female? Thank you for your time. 1) We don't know, as we have not told stories about them. It seems as if they were operating in a number of places, not just one geographic region. 1a) We'll see if we tell more stories about him 5b) Not something I have worried about. 1) Nektann is male Well, what do you think? Hey, that's Greg's line. So it takes a few weeks for a Makuta's antidermis to dissipate? Dang, those Makuta are hard to kill. Actually, you can use something like laser vision and destroy it on the spot. Yes, in Dark Mirror, Kojol's armor was ripped apart by a Toa of Iron, then a Toa of Plasma incinerated his antidermis. It happened in seconds, so you can kill a Makuta fairly easily if you can get a clean shot with the right weapon(s). @The OoMN Chronicler: You better finish that comic, I so wanna see it. -------------------- |

QUOTE QUOTE Hi Greg I've got some questions: 1- Is Krika the Makuta of Artidax? A: No 2- After the Metru Nui cival war, were the energy storms in Karda Nui weakened? Because I don't see Jovan and his team go into Karda Nui while does storms are active. A: Yes 3- Why was Mata Nui dying during the 06-07 saga? Because of the virus or that the metru-matoran hadn't worked for a 1000 year? A: A combination of multiple things, including the two you mentioned 4- Was the voice that told Lewa to get the sundial Krakua's? A: Can't answer it 5- Where did Pohatu and Onua found the Heart of the Visorak? Destral? Tren Krom Peninsuela? A: Hasn't been revealed 6- Are Makuta capable of shapeshifting their tools? A: Yes 7- Since the Hydruka Thulox and Morak never appeared are those Hydruka still canon? A: Yes, they were sets 8- A while back you said that if Nektann would be a set he would be $30 set. Does that mean that he is bigger than other Skakdi? A: Or that he would be packaged with vehicle or a mount 8b- What Are Nektann's powers and Element? Or are you going to reveal it in the serial? A: No idea at this point 9- Why isn't the Komau considered a dark Kanohi? A: Because it is not a mask used by Makuta, and its power is not inherently evil. You could use mind control to stop a killer from killing, right? 10- Was Artidax always such a dark island or did that became so over time? A; Always 11- Is Lesovikk's homeland still invested by Zyglak or are they gone? A: Probably gone by now 12- The Rahi Nui was created by Teridax, correct? 12b- And Lesovikk once defeated it, correct? A: Yes, and Lesovikk once fought it, I don't think we stated that he defeated it 13- Why does the BoM conquer so many islands with the Visorak? Is it part of the plan or so? A: Yes All for now See answers above, Greg -------------------- Sigh.....................................................................nature Ever looked into the mirror and wondered: where did it go wrong? QUOTE QUOTE QUOTE QUOTE Hello again Greg, hope you're doing well. Just read the september comic. Just two questions for now, 1)Have started writing DW? 2)Why did Krika doesn't want the plan to succeed? 2a)Does this mean he still has a little light in him left? Thanks in advance. Hope you can answer them. 1) No, I have to find my voice recorder first, and it is still packed away. 2) No, Krika simply sees no benefit to himself. He doesn't think things will be better for him if the plan succeeds or if it fails. Thanks for answering my questions and here's a new one: Why did he picked Gali? Did he randomly choose or for a specific reason? Thanks again. Because Gali is a peacemaker and less inclined to answer every situation with force, so he thought she would be more likely to be reasonable. Just some things I was wondering. -------------------- |

Credit to this guy for being so spectacular! I was formerly known as Krakuaofsonics (if that means something to you)... RotGBs chapter 3 is on hiatus, and probably won't be heard from for a while :(. QUOTE QUOTE One more brief question: 2) Is the Matoran Universe above or below the seabed of the endless sea surrounding the island of Mata Nui? Can it be, say, 'de-rooted' from the Bionicle Planet, or is it physically bonded with the Planet? Thanks, pirakahakann 2) No, it is not physically bonded to the planet. Don't think a comment for this would be necessary. -------------------- I don't have a sig.

So it takes a few weeks for a Makuta's antidermis to dissipate? Dang, those Makuta are hard to kill. Unless you find a way to destroy them on the spot or enclose them in something permanently. You don't necessarily HAVE to kill them, just keep their substance locked up in an immobile armor. Nonetheless, even THAT would be hard to do. You might find this little goody on Makuta substance interesting: QUOTE QUOTE QUOTE QUOTE Alright, to my understanding, the gaseous substance dubbed "antidermis" is the physical essence of a Makuta, correct? ~Javi so when teridax was in the crystal vat did that count as being in armor or if he had stayed in the vat to long would we of died? that and everytime the piraka uysed some antidermis in the spheres, did that take from teridaxes substance, weakening him, or did it become a teridax baby, or what. i must pm greg about this. off topic: how do you get pics for your avatar and banner? edit: woot! first on page! As far as I know, yes, that was armor--you can enclose antidermis in any type of vat, sphere, etcetera, and it will keep them at bay until they can get into a new armor; if the vat was broken, the antidermis would be free. I think that, because it is inside the Matoran, it can't dissipate; if it comes out and doesn't rejoin the rest, it will go away and weaken the Makuta. Off-Topic: You just have to upload the pictures. It's not too hard. If my very short and simple explanation is not understandable, just PM me and I'll help you through it. ~Javi |
