I don't think you were supposed to give that site name, as far as I know its considered having forums since its a wiki, so you may want to remove that, but I don't know on that.
And the second last episode has been named, "Stolen Earth" I think it was. -------------------- ![]() |

Hey, my dad and i are huge fans of DW. But I'm in Canada. The new series hasn't aired yet. Does anybody know if it will? You can actually find the episodes on a very popular video site, but I'm not allowed to name it. -------------------- |

I was talking to my brother yesterday, and he suggested that the Entity from Midnight was another demon-like creature (like the Beast or Abaddon). The Beast was trapped in a planet incapable of suporting life, just like Midnight. Also, the beast tried to use Toby to escape much in the same way the Entity was using Sky.

A good point, but when the Beast possessed Toby, it already knew how to talk and stuff. The thing that possessed Sky seemed almost childish, it had to pattern itself on someone else.

Apparently Rose Tyler will be the Doctor's companion again in the 2009 specials. seems doubtful. my guess is that she'll either die some tragic terrible death, or simply choose to no longer travel with the doctor. I'd actually be a bit dissapointed if she did come back and simply carried on as the doctors companion like nothing has happened. Also, Billie Piper is filming a new American TV show, so she probably wont make it. -------------------- ![]() |

at the end of turn left the tardis is turned into a paradoxmachine! Hence the red light! Oh and Davros is definetly coming back, Doctor Who Confidential gave it away a bit, though it did seem a bit accidental when they showed the clip.Hmmmm.... Quick question, have yet to see the episode, but last I saw, I think the 7th Doctor's time, Davros was just a head on a robotic body, but of course, he's restored now and from what I've read, he's normal during the Time War, having flesh apparently, so how did that happen?

Thay, Jast and Sec were killed in those episodes. Caan survived, and Shifted out of there when the Doctor offered to help him (having already witnessed one genocide he did not want to see another). If he was actually black, not just shadowy, maybe he got charred. You'll notice how the upper half of his shell was seemingly melted away... Yes he did rescue Davros, but I don't think he changed time...the Reapers would be out again if he had, right? My thought is the daleks were only alowd to take planets at fixed points in time so that they didn't cause a paradox and let the reapers out. In other words they didn't take planets with like massive timelines until a certain point. -------------------- |

7th Doctor Davros did have a different sort of...him... He didn't have much of a torse if i remember right. But the new davros is much more like the original. But still looks different in his own way. The episode was good. I liked Caan actually, the temporal shift part was clever, though cann didn't do a temporal shift he died...so he must have done it before daleks in manhatten?? :S Or is this a differnt dalek? If so then why is he gone black? that's because dalek caan changed time by taking davros out of the time war before he was reduced to a head in a jar! excep that the time war that caan rescued davros from as never actually been shown. if we are to assume that davros was rescued before he cannabilised his body with cybernetics then this would rewrite several of the doctors earlier encounters with the daleks and completely remove one or two of his encounters with davros from the timeline altogether. remembrance of the daleks would never have since it involved davros and his imperial daleks fighting a civil war against the renegade dalek faction. I think for the moment we have to assume davros body was restored some other way. -------------------- the fallen champion.

I think it was confirmed, or theorized, in my previous post's quote that he was just a body under the robotics and wasn't just a head.

I just saw the season 4 finale.
My thoughts: + Epic. + German Nazi Dalek attack! + They had pretty much every character from all the 4 seasons fighting against the Daleks. Even Torchwood and the Sarah Jane Adventures group were there. + Pretty much every loose end was tied. + The red Supreme Dalek sounded like ED-209 from Robocop! + Tennant didn't leave - The ending was a little bit clumsy - The start of the episode was one big anticlimax - The Daleks went from super Nazi cyborg killers into a bunch of exploding bins in the ending. Excuse me, what? Anyway, I liked it. Let's hope that we'll get season 5 soon enough...and we probably won't. -------------------- ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Stolen Earth was good, hated Journey's End. Well not hate, just not as great as the first part.
The DoctorDonna thing was clever, and I just saw the Impossible Planet on PBS last night, so its odd thinking the Ood could have predicted that based on the first episodes with them. The Regerneration, saw it coming, not as great as I thought though. Donna's fate was fine. Rose, hated her end. Looks like Mickey and Martha will join Torchwood, I hope. With the Time Lock, that wasn't that great. Good defense, but I'd have prefered to have seen more with them. K9 fighting a Dalek should have been in it. Donna should have been revealed to be the Rani. Temp, her job means time, I think it was Donna means woman, Noble is lord, female Time Lord. Oh well, at the end light glows on her ring, so there are theories about that being a chameleon arch or something of importance. No proper ending with him going "What?" No Judoon. Why? And that's about it. -------------------- ![]() |

But the Rani is a biologist (sp), and Cybermen seems like the sort of thing one would want to study, so it would seem to make some sense, but yeah, I didn't even think it could be her until I read it on the Doctor Who wiki that it was a theory. Since RTD wants her back I'd guess in a special, especially since Kata O'Mara wants to play the Rani again, though she's something like 68 at the moment. You contradict yourself there. She is a biologist, so why would she want to study things that are effectively robots? If she does return, I don't think they'll shoehorn her in with any other well-known enemy but instead give her a brand new one (similar to how the Master had Toclafane not something like Daleks) -------------------- I would have a proper signature but it would BLOW. I was refering to the fact that they have a human brain and in some cases, like Lisa, have organics under the machinery, so that seems like something of interest.

Odds are she already knows what a human brain is like, and proper Cybermen (Lisa was only half-converted) shouldn't really have any organic parts

True, but how are we to know if she's encountered Cybermen already? Even if she has they would have been Mondasian and Cybus are different, so chances are she wouldn't know exactly what they are. She could probably guess they're Cybermen, but still, worth studying.

Cybus. During the S2 finale, one of them said to a Dalek that 'their technologies were compatible' which suggests that they have some extra-terrestrial basis.
Besides, the Rani isn't going to know they're from a parallel world, is she? She's just going to think 'Oh, them again' -------------------- I would have a proper signature but it would BLOW. YOUR. MIND. |

Yes, they did say that in 06, but as far as we know, the Cybus never encountered a Dalek. We don't know if their technologies were compatible, it could just be a guess based on first impressions by the Cybus. We never got an actual answer on that or a reason why the Cybermen would conclude that.

I don't think Cybermen have enough initiative to make guesses based on first impressions. They were able to follow the Daleks' Void Ship though, so odds are they have at least a few similarities

What is the mondaisian cyberman anyway? The Mondasian Cybermen were introduced in the last first Doctor story. They come from a planet opposite Earth, where the population turned themselves into Cybermen. They appeared in (not neccesarily this order) Tenth Planet, The Moonbase, Tomb of the Cybermen, The Wheel in Space, The Invasion, The War Games, Mind of Evil, Revenge of the Cybermen, Carnival of Monsters, Logopolis, Earthshock, Mawdryn Undead, The Five Doctors, Attack of the Cybermen, Silver Nemesis, Dalek. |
