Ah, but doesn't mata stand for spirit? Now, a more appropriate question would be concerning the usage of the words. Mata could be used to describe a being of great power and/or status, whereas Ka could be used as a way to honour a being. Never really know, do you?

"Spirit" can have more than one meaning, even in English. Although I am unsure if Greg confirming that "it would be reasonable" qualifies for BS01. For all we know, "Mata" could mean something else, anyway-- just because Mata Nui is the only one treated as a Great Spirit doesn't mean his name means that specifically.

Mata does not mean spirit. Mata Nui does not means "Great Spirit", Mata Nui -is- a Great Spirit. The "Great Spirit Mata Nui" is not the "Great Spirit Great Spirit", nor is he "Mata Nui Mata Nui".

If the Kardas Dragon is going to end up in The Archives, wouldn't it explode? In Inferno, Vezon said that if he does not constantly blast energy, it will build up so much that the Dragon would explode and die. In statis, it can not blast things.


In stasis, the energy also cannot build up rapidly. Stasis means your life processes are slowed almost to a stop.

1b) Does he live anywhere, or is he sort of a nomad with the Skopio?
1c) Does he ever raid caravans/attack villages?
1d) And, finally, does he have some sort of motive other than trying to survive every day?

2) Seeing as the Northern Frost is still on SM's third moon, is it safe to say that the EP Spring is still there?
2a) Might it sill be active in any way?

3) I understand you probably haven't made long-term plans for some of this year's sets yet, but do you have any idea where the Telluris, Perditus, Sahmad and their vehicles might pop up?1b

4) Does Iconox have any Glatorian/Trainees right now, besides Strakk?
4a) Same question, but with Vulcanus/Ackar.

5) Would the Element Lord of Rock have control over Rock exclusively, or does he have powers over Earth, too?
5a) Same thing with the Element Lord of Sand; was he restricted to just sand, or other things?

4a) Vulcanus' best two trainees were killed in the Raid on Vulcanus book.
5) No, just rock. Rock is not the same as earth.

6) Difficult to do, since none of them control air. Gali and Lewa were able to make storms by combining their powers, but no one on Spherus Magna had Lewa's power.

Well, the bit about them not appearing anytime in the story... at all, really... is a bit depressing, but at least we know a little more about him. Iconox's future isn't looking too bright, either, without Strakk.
