Have you rever heard anybody pronounce Bionicle names wrong. If ya have, here's the place to post em.
Here's one that got me frustrated: This kid just came up to me at Lego Land and said,"You see those monsters with their heads sticking out? They're called Lumwatas." I knew he was talking about the Bohrok. -

Here's how I pronounce them, and AFAIK, I only pronounce Lewa wrong. Bold denotes accentuated syllables, BTW:
Tahu- Tar-who. Kopaka- Ko-par-ka. Gali- Gar-lee. Lewa- Lay- wah. (Apparently, it's Lee-wah, but it doesn't sound right to me.) Pohatu- Po-har-too. Onua- Oh-new-a. Turaga- Too-rah-ga. Matoran- Ma-tor-an. Rahi- Rah-hee. Manas- Man-as. (Read "as" as "as-s", but without the hyphen) Bohrok- Bo-rok. Bahrag- Baah-rag. Toa- Tow-a. Nuva- Nuu-va. (Not 'VAR' as in Bohrok Va.) Course, don't quote me on that, cause I don't remember where I saw it. But one thing I do remember... It's LAYwa...not Leewa or Loowa  I pronounced it Loowa, but no longer ;) =EO=

I don't care too much when they pronounce the name wrong and it sound close but I feel like I want to punch someones lights out when they say it like this:
Tahu: the red guy onua: the black guy pohatu:thebrown guy lewa:the green guy kopaka:the white guy (for some reason that bugs me the most.) Gali:the blue guy (even though shes a girl) tahnok:the red bahroke (I hate that when they pronounce bohrok like that.) pahrak:the brown bahroke nuhvok:the black bahroke lehvak:the green bahroke kohrak:the white bahroke gahlok:the blue bahroke if I went on about the many ways people mispronounce names It would take a whole boat load of bandwidth so anyway those are some. *sigh* -------------------- |
