UPDATES! Yes, it's about time, isn't it? Not having college or indeed any work whatsoever has really made it easier to work on the kits. As a result, all 8 years have been updated to some degree (some more than others) and the Toa Edition has been completely rebuilt! Go see! 2001 2002 2003 2004 2005 2006 2007 2008 Toa Edition O.O Oh. Wow. *dies* THAT IS AWSOME! Now I see it took some time! Awsome! And more! Lewajohnson -------------------- Credit to InnerRayg for the sprites used in my av! PM me if you live in Idaho. I'm sure no one was intending to be rude. There aren't huge numbers of people who make things in this style, and those that attempt it seem to have been busy producing fan kits of their own. Many of those centre around the Mistika, so they cannot loan pieces to others without undermining their own work. I myself, being the creator of the kit, cannot readily produce material for fan kits because I am involved in producing the official ones, and anything I produce would therefore itself be 'official'. While I have on occasion been known to create pieces for people in order to create fan kits, I only do this for sets I have no intention of making, or do not plan on building any time soon. In the case of the Mistika, I intend to start them soon and so any pieces I create for them would be my own and would go into the official kit.
On a vaguely related note, I have something in the works which I intend to release before I start the Mistika. It should only take a week or two, and I think people will like it. What is it? I'm not saying yet. Wait and see. -------------------- |

For once I have worked fast. I mentioned in my last post that I was working on something else. Who would have thought I would be able to unveil it already?

For once I have worked fast. I mentioned in my last post that I was working on something else. Who would have thought I would be able to unveil it already? Now that is very impressive. I finally come back here after over a month away, and I find so many updates... My personal favorites: Cool metallics for more masks in '01, head behind the visors in '07 and '08, and especially the amazingly reorganized Toa Edition - it should now be much, much, easier to use. Congrats, and thanks a million! -------------------- This looks like a job for... ![]() AQUAMAN |

Woah. The new Toa kit is incredibly complete. The only Toa-related parts I can't find are silver limbs.
Are those being saved for the Mistika kit release? ... Hm. Didn't see the vast assortment of silver parts, minus the limbs, coming. ... Or the warriors. Complete with Icarax's correctly angled feet ... I'm gone for two weeks, and this happens? *Leaves for a month to see what happens* |

Gali's mask seems a tad too small, I think.

And where are the shadow leeches? HELP please! |

Danska only makes bipeds, it appears. And if the Shadow Leeches aren't in the Phantoka kit, they don't exist.
And yeah, Gali's mask needs work. |

Two days. That has to be something of a record. I don't think I've ever managed it in two days before. Two weeks maybe, although even that might have been pushing it. And to think I only got the sets yesterday, as well! Quite an achievement I'd say.
Anyone guessed what I'm on about yet? If you were thinking I've released a new kit, then you would be correct! All three Toa Mistika are there with both front and side views! The Makuta will have to wait until next week when I shall have the money to get hold of them. Oh, Gali's mask was indeed too small. I've fixed that now and think it looks a lot better. -------------------- |

Woohoonewkityay. Well, this is good, silver limbs = good, and a new record for kit building too! I'm assuming you will do the Makuta at a later date? Anyways, glad to see the progress so far, and I hope this keeps up! :)

Okay, here's my Gorast kit: Gorast There are a few problems with your kit... 1. The head. The joint peice is turned the other way. Also, the eyes are Bohrok eyes in the set... your's seem to be Barakki eyes. Also, the mask is flatter in real life. 2. The claws. The green and black ones are too long and flat. They also shouldn't be curved down from the front view. THe silver ones seem to curve inwards... they shouldn't. I would suggest eyeing a set over very critically before making a kit of it. @Danska: Well, I'm currently making more accurate depictions of my characters in your kit, Danska, but the metallic limbs are very necessary. Very eager for these to come out, and was wondering if you had an estimated date of arrival on the new Toa Edition. (I don't mean to rush you, but about 2/3 of the characters require the metallic limbs, and would like to know when to expect them). |

The Mistika Makuta will be done sometime next week, I expect. Can't say when. I'll probably update the Toa Edition shortly after that as well with all the new pieces. On the subject of silver limbs, here you are! I'll try to stick them in the TE when I update it. Woohoo! Glad to see that these things are finally out! I can no longer find a flaw in your kit! Finally can make my characters. Thanks for the kit, Danska! The Mistika Makuta I am not as eager for, simply because I already have all the peices I want. |

Wow the new Version is horible. Could you say what it is you find horrible? I can't do much otherwise. On the subject of the Mistika, looks like they won't be done this week. I got hold of them later than I intended and it's been one of those weeks where everything happens at once. I have almost finished Krika (front and side) though, so I'm making progress. I'm also working on something else. Any guesses what? Ooh. I don't mind waiting a little longer, having them look accurate matters more. :) Well... hm... what don't you have? Aside from updating the silver limbs in the TE... Also Krika's armor... want want want. Oo, suggestion: slanted limbs. Like, from the front view. It's not really important, but if you feel like it... ;) But honestly, I can't think of what else you need here... |

Roodaka, Keetongu, and/or Sidorak? So the Mistkuta should be out next week-ish, right? I wasn't expecting anyone to get it that quickly... They should be out next week, yes. Then, next week's filling up too. I'm sure I'll find time to work on it though. QUOTE Well... hm... what don't you have? Aside from updating the silver limbs in the TE... Also Krika's armor... want want want. Krika's armour, assuming you mean the chest armour (all he really has anyway), is the same as Onua's armour. It's already available. Speaking of Krika, might this interest anyone? -------------------- |

On another note, I'm making new banners. The current ones really do lack something. I'm using one of the new ones in my sig if you want to see what they'll be like. -------------------- |

The Mistika are finally complete! Bitil's head looks a little... odd... but I think it's okay. So will the new banners be of the villains then? or will it be divided into villains and heroes? Also: do you have an estimate on when the '05 titans will be done? |

Yet more outstanding sprite work. Last time I checked there was only some V1, some things at V2 but here you come and out do yourself with the V3 kits. I love the orginization of the V3 Toa Kit, much easier to find everything, although the masks all in red make it a bit hard to recolour accurately. But I went around and saved all of the V3 kits anyways...a Megabyte later I was up to date.
At the risk of sounding cliche, KUTGW! ~GG~ |
