Wha? Non violent! Lego is MADE for violence! What other kind of toy lets you rip limbs, legs, and heads of enemies apart, and still havng the toy be able to be just fine? In the clip of Gali vs. Tarakava, there is plenty of violence. I hope they`re not that non violent, and you don`t defeat makuta and save the island by solving the puzzle... -_-;;

Onua: Yes! The answer is PI Radius Squared!
Makuta: NOOOOOOOOOO!!!! ::dies::

That would be really lame. -_-;;

Who will be the first?!

I'm definately waiting for it to hit the stores. Violent or not, it looks like it should be fun - just because it's Bionicle! Seriously, if the screenshots live up to what I've seen, it should be fun bringing the Toa to life.

End of August, huh?

Hey, BI -- I love your mask holder!  That was the first image on the web that I came across showing all the masks and I clipped it & emailed it to my wife's account to show her just how many masks were available.

Care to post a few pics of how you built it?

Yes, lego definitely needs to make their sofware Mac compatible. When their first batch of software came out I wanted to get most of it(esp. now that's it's cheap) but they NEVER made it MAC compatible, not even Mindstorms. But fortunately, I got Robolab, which will run on the MAC.
Hmmm, I wonder if my old version of VPC will run on 9.1...

The instructions can also be on Mata Nui Animals, Turaga Nui (Mentioning sites with forums = bad beat them to it), Mabey a mix of Tohuga (could happen), And so on.
But the only way to find out is to play it.

How can that be....  They show it all over!  And why would it be that the Turaga are the only ones in the whole series that don't have instructions for some kind of alternate model.  I mean even the Rahi sets have a combined form.

Listing for ศ.99 and shipping by August 23, 2001, the description reads:

Six mighty heroes, the Toa, have come to the island of Mata Nui to battle an ancient evil! To triumph, they must overcome fierce enemies and collect the Masks of Power! Unravel the secrets of Mata Nui and use the strength and skills of the Toa to achieve final victory.Minimum system requirements: Windows 95/98/ME/XP; DirectX 8.0; Pentium II 300 MHz or faster; 450MB of free hard drive space; 4x speed or faster CD-ROM/DVD drive; 64MB RAM; 8MB DirectX 8.0 compatible video card; DirectSound compatible sound card.

Furthermore, a search at Amazon shows similar info, but adds the following points:

- Play through the eyes of mystical warriors
- Help an ancient tribe defeat an evil being
- Engaging and nonviolent play
- Emphasis on promoting peace
- A richly atmospheric environment

...and the Editorial Review there reads:

LEGO Bionicle invites players to guide six Toa warriors individually via a third-person chase view on a quest to collect magical masks and thereby defeat the mysterious Makuta. Thinking, as opposed to violence, wins the day, as players gradually unlock more playable characters and explore the vast and richly imagined island of Mata Nui. There are eight large environments in all. Players can also unlock and print out model building instructions and other unique artwork as they progress through ever more challenging levels of play.

Sounds interesting -- I'm sure I'll have to pick it up.  :)

Let's see, I could buy this game and spend what? ฮ for it plus the cost of VPC...yeah that seems reasonable....

I want TLG to fix this problem of pushing potential customers away from their product because they are too lazy to create a hybrid CD. Other companies do it, so I know it can't be that difficult to do.

About that Turaga Nui,  I e-mailed Lego about instructions and they told me the picture was just to inspire you to build your own creations.

But it might still be in the game...........

True enough, but I was moreso pointing out that Amazon says Sept, Bionicle.com says Sept., it's just LEGO S@H that says Backordered till Nov. 30.

Unfortunately the release date for the software has been put off until November 30, 2001. It looks like Lego want to save a Bionicle item for the Holidays.

Yer why not :) , i will have to update the design as i am waiting more my orders to come to me... The design uses alot of new elements which you can find on brickbay.. Like 150-200 Technic Axel x2 "Noched"

Etc... it is outdated, the blanks are the missing McDonalds masks ;)

They say the game will have hidden Bionicle building instructions.  Maybe they have instructions that will tell you how to take pieces from the current Toa sets and build the guy who gets Vahi.

Actually, no. Just seems that LEGO is shafting their S@H customers, and sending them over to one of the other sites. Amazon has it Sept 8 for PC, 18 for GBA.

Notice, they say Backordered November 30. The bionicle website still says the release date for the games is September.
