OOC:
QUOTE
OOC: You meant Jack Frost, right?

QUOTE
OOC: He's a shadow user there Trans =P

Bah, it came out wrong-looking. It was meant to say that Silver could deal with a water-user (Jack Frost), who was connecting to Sluice on a level he couldn't (similar powers); but someone with a total disregard for life/law, he couldn't just deal with (Vince). Should've made it a new sentance... >_>

QUOTE
IC: Vince just shrugged, he still never understood why they all wore those dorky uniforms

ohmy.gif

It's not dorky! Cloaks are too cool for school! tongue.gif

IC: Silver quickly caught up to Sluice, and was relived that Vince wasn't following them. That happy thought dissapeared when he remembered how Sluice had acted just before. When we get back to the hotel; we have GOT to work this out... Silver thought to himself as Sluice headed back into the Feudal Japan section.

OOC: lol

IC: Vince simply continued to walk away, if any more noise would emit form thie boisterous place of merry making, he'd have to crash the party again and end it, much like with what he did here. For now he stopped in front of the rather large hole in the wall and stepped out wiping some dirt off of his shoulders.

Having a complete disregard for everyone who would be outside the museum he headed off somewhere else, perhaps to destroy some more suckish buildings that had no appeal to him. "It's a wonder they didn't treat me as a threat, oh well."

IC: Jack Frost stuck with Sluice and Silver. Sluice didn't seem to mind, but Silver turned to address the hero.

"Can we help you?"

"I was going to hang around, if that's alright."

"Haven't you anywhere else to go?"

"I seem to remember you come from North America... or is it Canada?" Sluice added.

"Canada, and unfortunately going back isn't an option for me. The government have imposed a lockdown on all super-powered beings; I was forced to flee."

"Well, maybe you being caught wouldn't have been such a bad thing," muttered Silver, remembering how Jack had no qualms with killing Origami.

Sluice hesitated to offer her help with Jack Frost's problems. Since deciding to take a break from superhero-ing, her home had been attacked, she had been shot into the ocean and forced to sail to Japan, battled ninja, and even when trying to make the most of her 'holiday' had needed to defend the museum from a villain. It was really becoming quite tiresome, and she figured that by refusing to help with anything superhero-related she could at least whittle down the chances of being caught up again...

OOC: I know Silver isn't usually that tetchy, but I figure he's getting a little bit fed up too (though largely becuase of Sluice's strange behavior).

Trans, do you think you'll be online long enough to resume control of Darkness now? I left him and Rush in London when you disappeared, as it was no fun ICing them on my own. tongue.gif

IC: Nightstream was lucky. Aurora had hit an isolator circuit, and whatever gets in there, usually doesn't get out unless the circuit is disconnected from the armour.

All the hate on people who don't like Hero Factory.

Seriously. Some people don't like a toyline. It doesn't give its fans the effing right to post thinly disguised flames (like those in this very topic) all over.

Not every HF critic is an obsessed Bionicle fanboy who can't get over the fact that Bionicle ended and takes their anger out on the successor, and likewise, not every HF fan is an obsessed Bionicle fanboy who can't get over the fact that Bionicle ended and has been blinded by the "successor of Bionicle" label on it.

Most have legitimate reasons not to like it and most have legitimate reasons to like it. Tarring them with the same brush as the annoying minorities of their own groups is exactly why this "fan-hater" feud has been going on for so long.

IC: "I was hoping we'd be doing something a tad more dispicable than this..." Rush muttered, folding her arms crossly. She and Darkness had spent the last fifteen minutes breaking the law; but not on the level she had hoped for. You couldn't exactly get life prision for loitering in front of a "No Loitering" sign. Darkness had remained silent the entire time, simply watching the traffic move along a nearby bridge; only a short distance above the river below.

She was beginning to think she'd have to kick him in the shin before he'd even move; until she heard a screech of tryes from the bridge nearby. Seemingly without reason, cars began to slam into each other like a dodgems game. After a few seconds of screeching, several of them inexplictedly hurled themselves off the bridge and into the river below. "Oh my, someone has vandalised that vehicle! See Rush, the city is a dangerous place..." Darkness said, the red aura around his hands fading as he turned as walked away from the scene.

*Japan*

Silver regarded Jack with near-total disdain; they'd just finished one problem to be presented with another. If anyone ever said that a hero's life was fun and glamourous; they were a dirty liar. Still, it was Sluice's decision, not his to help Jack or not. Though he knew he shouldn't, Silver couldn't stop hoping that Jack would just deal with it himself; leaving him and Sluice to deal with more pressing problems...

IC: "If you don't mind me asking, what's the deal with you two?" asked Jack, "Are you partners or something?"

OOC: He means partners as in working together, but I'll let you get confused to your own leisure biggrin.gif
Oh, and nice Grinch reference Trans

IC: Nightstream's armour smoked and crackled. Isolation circuit it might have been, but it was simply not eqipped to deal with the sheer amount of voltage Aurora was pumping into it. Solder melted, silcon become charred, wires fused to other wires...

IC: (Midnight)
Midnight was uncharacteristically distracted, and was knocked over by the punch. On top of it being a good punch, it was superhumanly strong. Midnight tried to stand up, but tripped over Spark's body. Rolling his eyes, Midnight raised a wall of telekinesis, cutting the hero off from attacking again while he stood up.

"Leave," Midnight said. "I don't want any unneccessary deaths here. I'll even give the signal for you to be let through the forcefield."

OOC: Whoa, board's offline when I want to get on, then I find a mountain of posts! =O

QUOTE
"Silver," he muttered, apparently to himself, just loud enough to be heard, "psychic, League, recent tendency to ally with Sluice- You should stay closer to your girlfriend," he added aloud. "Her mental health is questionable after the recent possession, better to have a psychic around for safety. And as for you," he added icily to Fade, "you were supposed to wait for my signal. You could have crashed that dropship into thousands of refugees. Next time, stick with the plan."

IC: "She's not exactl- erm...." Silver trailed off, for multiple reasons. The fact Fade and this 'Carapace' (who was a rather freaky-looking individual) evidently weren't the best of friends was a main reason, though being able to leave his relationship with Sluice ambigious was at least somewhat appealing. He naturally had wanted to stay by her side as she was healed, but he had to be realistic, he could do nothing to help her in that area, and he'd be far more useful elsewhere. He was a tad insulted by the "stay closer" comment, given if he knew anything, it'd be that he hadn't willingly left her side pratically the entire time they'd been together... it had probably only been weeks, at the very most, since they'd met, but it felt like years. The psychic, for now merely held his tongue and stood around awkwardly, Fade and Carapace in a relatively 'private' discussion.

OOC: Just a heads up as well, I'm in my final exam fortnight now, so my replies may be simple and sluggish until that finishes up. Afterwards, I'll make sure you don't have such an easy time with this global invasion tongue.gif
