OOC: What "new rule" exactly are you referring to, Darkness Flare? Nonetheless, I would prefer that people stay in the main universe. If we start going into alternate universes and parallel dimensions, then things are bound to become hectic.

And by "Veteran", I was referring to people who had been in this RPG for a long time, and had also been part of the Alpha Team: Mission Deep Freeze RPG.

IC: Frozeen walked out the door of Dino Attack Headquarters, and found to his surprise one of the tank-like vehicles that he found in the sewers to be parked just outside of the base. Two figures were sitting in the back seats; the front seats were unoccupied. Frozeen glanced backwards, in the direction of Rex and the Hybrids. "They probably used this to get back here," guessed Frozeen.

He walked towards the tank-like vehicle. Now that it wasn't a threat, Frozeen took time to look at it. It was shaped similarly to an Iron Predator, but without the cannon, and with a more defined roof. There was a hook on the back, presumably to hook up to a cage. Its design was different; it was built almost sleeker. While the Iron Predator was built for fighting, this was built for speed and cargo.

Frozeen also got a better view of the two sitting in the vehicle. One was a Minifig, he wore a black Rock Raiders-esque uniform, and a green vest over that. His left sleeve was missing, exposing a teal-colored prosthetic arm. The other figure was a droid, built in the likeness of a Minifig. It wore an Explorien uniform and a large gray helmet. The droid Frozeen did not recognize, but the Rock Raider...

He ran over to them. The Rock Raider was busy reading a book when he noticed Frozeen. "About time!" he smiled. "What took you Dino Attack agents so... wait, you're wearing an Alpha Team uniform!"

"So?" shrugged Frozeen. "I still work with the Dino Attack Team. By the way, I think I know you from somewhere."

"Name's Samuel Throramebi," introduced the Rock Raider, "but everyone just calls me Sam. The droid here is A5T3R-01D, but we call him Aster Oid."

"Throramebi," smiled Frozeen. "Has it really been ten years? You don't know me by what everyone calls me, but you know me as Drill."

"Drill?" blinked Sam. "Ah, yes, I do remember you! You and I were training together to be Rock Raiders during the all-out Space War. We also went exploring some planets and mined for crystals, but you had to go back to LEGO Planet because you received a phone call that your stepfather had disappeared. Drill, the curious and always humorous teammate of mine, as well as my best friend!"

Frozeen sighed. "Not anymore. I've seen... and done... things, in the past five years, that have changed me. I'm not as curious, nor as funny, as I once was. And how about you, Sam? I remember you as being very interested in everything, but often times getting into more trouble than you could get out of!"

Sam held up his mechanical hand. "That's changed, too. It wasn't a very pleasant voyage that I lost my left arm in. Dr. Miner, you may remember him, was killed in that adventure as well."

"Dr. Miner was killed?" repeated Frozeen, remembering well their trainer, instructor, and teacher. It had been a long time since he saw Dr. Miner, and yet the fact that he was dead disturbed Frozeen.

IC: Apollo looked around him. The river had washed them to a sparse forest. Apollo shook his head.

IC: "well, looks like we'll be stuck out here until help can come," replied Zenna, suddenly it gave her an idea, "I've got a communicator, it's somewhat damaged by the water but I might be able to send a distress signal back to the base"

Ic: Zenna dialed in, but Apollo and Zenna heard a loud beeping noise. ''Its broken'', Zenna said, and Apollo nodded.

IC: "darn it," replied Zenna, she looked around, "we'll have to go on foot, maybe there's some place nearby with a working phone"

IC:Alpha raced forward even more.This time stopping in front of the figures.He asked them,"Who are you?"He waited for a while.

IC: "alright, thanks" said Zenna, "we should probably be heading back to base, they guys back there might be starting to get worried"

IC:"Alright let`s go!Uh oh,"A hge Mutant T-Rex suddenly loomed in front of them.It then prepared to put its jaws around them."GRAB ON!"Apollo and Zenna scrambled to grab on to Alpha`s arm.He concentrated extremely fast.Then they dissapered at hypersonic speeds.The T-Rex roared in agony as the agents returned to base.

IC:The Night Lord shook and then responded. "Not... allowed... to... tell... you..." he moaned. Reptile exchanged glances with his fellow agents. What?. "What do you mean, not allowed to tell us?" he snapped back, more quite. The Night Lord's response was better. "Allowed to stay... apart from Antarctica... given protection from Alpha Team raider... if I guarded secret of device..." Suddenly he just... died. Though Reptile wasn't sure, he was certain what was going on.

"Back in the vehicle, now!" he said harshly. "Return to that Witch Manor immediately." The Iron Predator headed off, everyone confused. When they arrived, they found a powerful-looking witch standing guardian with some sort of device in her hands.

"Well done, you fooled us all," Reptile said. "Surrender now or we'll haul you off for crimes against resisting DA Agents on missions vital to Global Defense," added Tail. Reptile looked at him in suprise. Of course it made sense there would be a law like that, but he didn't know how powerful it was. Evidently it was pretty powerful.

Aethera touched the device in her hands, and suddenly the healed Web rose and pointed his laser at Goldbeard. There was a flash and he was gone. Next it aimed at Tail. Reptile fired at him, destroying the laser, but Web punched Reptile hard and he fell over...

By the way, what exactly are the flying dinos called? Every time I post, I use a different spelling for them!

I usually refer to them as Mutant Pterosaurs. "Pterosaurs" is the backbone term for flying reptiles of the time of the dinosaurs. However, to get into specifics, they can also be referred to as Mutant Pteranodons or Mutant Pterodactyls; though of the three terms "Pterosaur" is the easiest to remeber how to spell... at least, for me it is...

OOC: well, I guess then I should remember to make characters from other themes have more logical appearances, oh, that reminds me of a few more locations for the list, what about Egypt and the Amazon from the Adventurers themes, there might be a few others I thought of but uh... I'm pretty sure you don't use locations from Liscensed themes,

The Egypt and Amazon themes fit under Adventure Island; while TC01's Johnny Thunder RPG has them as seperate locations from Dino Island, this RPG combines all three Adventures themes into one "Adventure Island", which was a concept used in LEGO Island II. The Orient Expedition locations are not part of Adventure Island, however; they are still in India, Tibet, and China.

And correct in assuming that I don't want locations based on Liscensed Themes. They actually fall into the "Rest of the LEGO Universe" catagory, existing in a neighboring galaxy called the "Liscense Galaxy".

OOC:Why are we at the power station again?

For storyline reasons: A half-dozen Mutant T-Rexes - and now several Mutant Pterosaurs - are attacking the Dino Attack HQ's main source of power.
For RPG reasons: I wanted to do something that would bring us all together, as well as something that would fit the official storyline (this event happened in the official Dino Attack storyline).

IC: Rex cursed. His Cyrothermic Cannon wasn't working anymore, after that ambush from the Mutant T-Rex. Rex was not a technician; that was Databoard's job, and only Builder knows where Databoard is right now. "I'll just have to use the Z-1 Kinetic Launcher and the Cosmotronic Ray, then," muttered Rex.

Luckily, the Mutant Raptor responsable for setting Rex up for the ambush was knocked out by the Cosmotronic Ray. The Mutant T-Rex behind his Iron Predator roared in triumph. Rex spun the Iron Predator around and fired his Z-1 Kinetic Launcher. Like a Pusher Beam, the Z-1 Kinetic Launcher pushed the Mutant T-Rex backwards. However, the T-Rex was just too big; it barely was moved. But it was angered.

Roaring, it tried to grab Rex in its jaws. It succeeded in demolishing the Iron Predator's windshield, but Rex jumped out of the way, and fired his Cosmotronic Ray at the T-Rex's nearest eye. In pain, the Mutant T-Rex backed away from the Iron Predator, trying to rub its eyes but ultimately failing due to its short arms. It was now standing at the edge of the river. Rex fired again with his Z-1 Kinetic Launcher, pushing the Mutant T-Rex into the river.

While the T-Rex was down, Rex grabbed his radio. "Come on, agents!" he yelled into it. "Where are you? This is Agent Rex; I and another Iron Predator are the only ones here at the Power Station fighting! We can't hold on much longer!"

That's when he noticed the small helicopter. He'd heard of this helicopter before, but never actually saw it. It was tan and red, like the typical Dino Attack helicopter, but had the letters "WDNO" written on the side. He didn't need to see the pilot to know who it was. Near the middle of the Dino Attack, the Minifigs down in Antarctica had insisted upon hearing progress of how driving back the dinos was going along. Therefore, famous news reporter J. Theano took it upon himself to make a new radio station he called "WDNO - Dino Radio!" He often followed Specs, Shadow, Digger, and Viper in his little helicopter, reporting about how the Dino Attack Team was doing.

Rex sighed, shook his head, and muttered. J. Theano, in his opinion, was completely reckless; it lucky that he hadn't already been killed by a Mutant Dino; this might be his last news brocast he was making. Then, Rex noticed a T-1 Typhoon approaching the scene. He prayed that this may be their salvation...

OOC: Once more, J. Theano is a concept from the official Dino Attack storyline.

OOC: I did have another possible idea for a location, though I'm not sure whether these are limited to areas with actual sets or any Lego locations that ever appeared, because I recently played Lego Stunt Rally, and it appeared to be set on a place called "Stunt Island" although there are no actual sets in the game. The Space port could also be a location, of course you couldn't go into space because of all the damage and most of the rockets would be damaged, but you could still visit what's left of it,

OOC: If you happen to look at the first post, Atton, you would see that I've removed the message that said I'd be taking location requests. And, mind you, this removal was not a recent event. Months ago, I decided that to conserve space in the first post for any new members joining the RPG, I had more than enough locations. I think I even removed a few locations... obviously, I removed Mata Nui and Metru Nui, but I also removed Creator Isle simply because nobody ever went there...

And in response to your requests. I have never played the LEGO Stunt Rally game, so I know nothing about Stunt Island; although I know what Sandy Bay is (the town-based island of LEGO Racers II), many people do not, and even so it's based off the LEGO Town theme so it technically fits into the "OTHER LEGO CITIES" category; as for the spaceport, the LEGO Spaceport line is considered to be a subtheme of the LEGO Town theme, so like Sandy Bay it fits into the "OTHER LEGO CITIES" category (there's also a spaceport on LEGO Island, though it's probably mostly destroyed by now).

And another point I'd like to bring to your attentions, Toa Tanak and Atton Rand. Although it is no longer a rule (it was made void in the early days of the RPG), IC posts in this RPG should be quality over quantity. Single-sentence posts are a bit of a pet peeve to me, especially when numerous single-sentence posts are made in a row. Take control of the story, just a bit; even if you just added, for example, a scene where they escape a boulder, to the questions that your characters are asking, it would be better. For example:

IC:"I don`t know where you guys want to go!"shouted Alpha over the rumbling.

IC: As Zenna spoke those words, they heard a loud rumble. The Dino Attack agents spun around and saw a wall open up. A huge boulder rolled out of the opening. They ran for their lives, dodging falling rocks as they sprinted. At last, they entered a passageway too narrow for the boulder to follow. Breathing heavily, Alpha spoke to Zenna, "I don't know where you guys want to go!"

IC: Rex drove an Urban Avenger through the streets of LEGO City. Although his vehicle of choice was an Iron Predator, what he needed right now for his current mission was speed, not strength. Plus, the Sonic Screamer mounted atop the Urban Avenger's cockpit dealt with any Mutant Lizard in Rex's path.

He was going to a spot where he had not been at for months. Not since Kotua's time, or Zero's time, or Voltage's time, or... basically, not since Rex had been banned from the Dino Attack team. So many things seemed so distant, like as though years had passed between the time he joined the Dino Attack team. If not for the calender in the Dino Attack Headquarters, he might not have even realized that it was only a few months after all. He felt strangely nostalgic, like the earlier days of the Dino Attack were fun, less serious days that he missed.

Now that he thought about it, of all the currently active agents, somewhat-active and very-active, Databoard was the only one that he had really worked with. And now Databoard was only somewhat-active. Rex had only just met Reptile, but Reptile's tactics and personality seemed somewhat similar to an older agent Magma, and Rex thought he remembered working with Magma before.

Thinking of these older memories brought back some of the not-so-pleasant memories too. The future versions of the villains, mutated Vinscale Octomus, PBB's demise, Chaos, the BZP Lovers, and of course Kotua... Although according to Specs, Kotua reformed before his disappearance, deep down Rex knew he never forgave Kotua. After all, he and Kotua got off to a bad start, when Rex caught him was firing at Trouble...

Which, bringing him back into the present, reminded him of his mission. He past the familiar shape of the wrecked, older Dino Attack Headquarters. It seemed so long ago that the headquarters was destroyed, thanks to the combined efforts of Kotua, Chaos, and several Mutant Dinos. Driving a bit further, he drove past an abandoned hospital and found what he was looking for.

A small penninsula extended out into the ocean. At the far end of the stretch of land was a small building. Rex had almost believed that it was destroyed long ago, and yet he still saw it there. Filled with hope, he drove the Urban Avenger towards the building. Then his eyes widened in fear.

Although the building was still standing, it was burned. Large chunks of it were missing. The door lay battered on its hinges. Rex parked the Urban Avenger, grabbed a flashlight and a Sonic Screamer, and opened the door, which fell right off its hinges.

Inside was total darkness. Rex turned on his flashlight and looked around. His jaw dropped. Before him, he saw what looked like was once a bunch of animal pens... totally destroyed, its occupants having escaped long ago. Even when tamed, Mutant Dinosaurs can only go so long without their master without giving into their instincts and running wild.

It started to rain. Water poured in through the wholes in the roof. Rex searched some more, ignoring the falling rain. Several carcasses of Mutant Lizards and young Mutant Dinos littered some parts of the floor, all of which were half-eaten, looking as though they had not been touched for ages. It was a desolate, dead, lifeless place here. If it had just been any old building, it would've not mattered much, but it made Rex's heart sink, for he knew the building very well.

It was here that he kept all his tamed Mutant Dinos. And now, all of them were either dead or running wild. All of them - Terry the Mutant Pterosaur... Fang the Mutant Raptor... and, most unfortunately, Trouble the Mutant Lizard.

OOC: yes, I guess you've got some good points there, and I didn't expect you to be familiar with Stunt Rally, although "Stunt Island" (which is supposedly where the game takes place) has a few different regions, all of which are already accessible areas (City, Desert, Jungle (both of which are part of Adventurers Island), and Ice (Antarctica). the only significant difference each region has from the locations here are that there's race tracks with things to do crazy stunts on, but I doubt anyone's going to want to be racing with the mutant Dino invasion, so I guess it does make some sense not to visit Stunt Island, but I'll keep your point about Sandy Bay in mind, and I figured the Space Port would be part of various Lego Cities,



but it did occur to me, there are a few other locations from the pirate theme you could put in, notably there were 3 imperial factions, and I don't think they all shared the same port for starters

IC: Apollo looked around. He saw nothing to any interest to him. He could see dinosaurs in the distance. He quickly reconised Sandy Bay. He also quickly recognized a Mutant Pteradon. It was getting closer every second...

IC: Apollo threw another coconut at the mutant, hitting it square in an eye, and it struggled to stay aloft. Finally it came whirling down with a crash. ''Lets go,'' said Alpha.

IC: Zenna led the team along the beach, they found a few small vehicles lying there, "this should, help" she said

IC: Now with six agents, the squad entered the bank. The reception area was as empty as Andrew had found it after his attack, and there was still no sign of any more lizards. Andrew still wasn't jumping to conclusions.

"I got a good look at the building outside," Andrew stated, "This bank has a few stories to it, about four, and the upper ones are most likely office space."

"I think we could tell," Crooks stated.

"Eh, sorry about that," Andrew said nervously. He pointed a a door in the back of the room. "I'm going to check out that room over there. Anyone care to join me?"
