You know, if we all bomboard Lego's e-mail box and their customer service line, they probably will scrap the old bionicle game and start developing a new game! Think, it will live up to lego's standards, and we won't see two Infected Nui-rama crashing into two large pillars, while tohunga are carving one of the pillars as a large statue of Mata-nui, and the other pillar being an observation tower, and tohunga are juming off the pillars and kongu, wearing , floats in the air and watches those towers fall on the unsespecting toa, then the two worst words in a video game:
GAME OVER!
( doesn't that sound like the 9-11-01 attacks? the only interpratation I could make out of Bionicle resembleing that)

If you pre-ordered it, check to see if it's still ordered.  If not, they cancelled it.  They cannot keep it ordered if the game was cancelled.  It is not legal somehow.  I can't remember the term, like "Public Awareness", or something.

First of all a lot games are released into the market that has bugs in them.  

Heck even the Mata Nui online game has some serious bugs.

I think there is something more serious than a few glitches.

I suspect that the game is way behind schedule and Lego came to the conclusion that it was not worth pouring money into a game that won't get them the profit that they want.

They did not take Alpha Team the PC CD-ROM (Item #5714) out of stores, they took Alpha Team "Ogel Control Center" (Item #6776) out of stores. Maybe I'm the only one who was confused by the original post, but I thought I should clarify anyway.

You know what? I bet they are just saying this, because it's going to take them a looooooooong time to fix the problems. Canelation in my language is "We're lazy bums and are taking forever to fix the problems" THTA'S THE MEANING! I have never seen a game be cancled like this beefore. They had all these promotions for it. All these commercials for it. I mean. They Made a BIG note BIG mistake. I just ###### off. Actually stuff like this happens more then you'd expect-- but your right they went to bigger then average lengths to promote it - just look at the back of some of the Rahi instructions manuals  ???  Now we'll have a "darn" reminder of their (LEGO Media's) overly boastful actions-- :sigh:

They should sell the PC programming to the highest bidder... hopefully Interplay to finish the job -- EIDOS would probably do it though... expect their games are BLLAAHHH

RIP LEGO Bionicle PC CD-ROM on LEGO Shop-At-Home

Alpha Team is still available though: here

Random thoughts:
* "LEGO Standards" aren't just quality standards, they are also content standards.
* Serious bugs are more tolerable in "Mata Nui : The Online Game" than they would be in a PC CD-ROM game because MN:TOG is free.
* The developer of the game, Saffire, (who also wrote the GBA game) said this on their website about the game:

Saffire's PC project "Bionicle", also for Lego, was also one of the finest looking and playing games being shown. With smooth animation, great special effects, beautiful and massive environments, challenging puzzles, and flawless gameplay, the game is sure to be a success.

I guess they were wrong.

I emailed Lego about the Bionicle PC game being cancelled and they kept say, " We want the best quality for our customers. " They also said they were thinking about other marketing plans for the Vahi mask.
