However, we have made an exception this time for a special review of the the GBA Bionicle game by our own moderator -X-. What follows is a complete photographic review of the game. Read on to get the scoop.</a>

NOTE: I bought this game from over the internet, I do not know where to get it exactly-but rumor has it that it is available at Walmart.

Wow... this is really cool! It could be better, I suppose, but I think it is still great. I really want this game!!! *sigh* Too bad I'll never get it. Oh well...

Takanuva is playable once you finish the Toa Nuva. Though I have not got as far as Takanuva yet.

Anyways, that's the GBA version... does anyone have the PC or Xbox version? I'm betting it's SOMEWHAT different. (They have to make the GBA shorter, seeing as PC's can go into multi disks, and Xboxes can take a lot of info.)

But, I must say, from what you describe, it's not what I expected, but just as good, in it's own way.

I'm assuming that the B+ is for new people to Bionicle?

Now, as I've noticed, the 3D images I thought were in the PC version are not there, does that mean another console holds them?

lol, it may be 1:06AM there, but it's 1:14PM where I am.

Nobody has the PC, GC, PS2 or Xbox version yet, not even the admin. That doesn't come out to October, I do believe. You are right though, those versions would be far better in graphics, playability, and maybe even played differently to the GBA in the storyline sense.

And the B+ is for everybody.

Well, I do not have the PS2 video game, but I have played it a few times between the Comic-Con and the World Premiere of the MOL at Legoland - and it is really amazing. The graphics are top-of-the line and the playability is veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery smooth. It really looks like a very cool game.

You really can't expect too much from Gameboy games - but this looks like the best game I have seen for a GB - bith in picture quality and story-wise.

Well, I got the game already but I don't know what to do, I mean can they use their primary weapons? Can comeone give me on what moves they can do? All I know is that they can shoot a normal shot, charge up their shot, double jump (except Kopaka) and move or smash rocks (Pohatu and Onua). Can somebody help plz?

EDIT: Actually I give it a B- because it's good but I'm a little disappointed on the music, I mean the front title music dosen't sound very Bionicle like. But still it is Bionicle, but I'd probably prefer the PC version or something like that. Oh and if anyone wants to question about how I got the game, PM me.

Great review, -X-, but I'm going to have to disagree with you on it. The game does not look very good, and from your description, seems very boring, having to do the same thing over and over. This game is not somthing I'd spend money on to play. Overall, I'd give the game a D+. The movie is much better. Now, of course, this is just my opinion...

Is that just a review of the GBA version? Thats what it looks like to me. The graphics look good, but the repetitive gameplay sounds like a bore to me. I was planning on getting the GBA and PS2 version. However, I think I'll just get the PS2 version. I hope its much better than that.

i agree with you mark the gameboy games aren't that worth t because they cost alot and they are only afew controls,but still a nice game.off topic:like your new banner mark.

I'd probably would've given a C or D. It really did not seem fun at all, nor did it seem it would get high sales.

That's just the GBA version though, am I not correct? The PC or console versions will probably be totally different. A friend of mine has the XBox version of the Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring game, wheras I have the GBA version. They're TOTALLY different! So maybe the PC version of Bionicle: The Game will be different from the not-so-enjoyable-looking GameBoy version. I'm getting the PC one! I've been waiting for a PC Bionicle Game!!

Oh, BTW, how do you take a screenshot from a GameBoy?

I agree the pics look aweful and I wasn't impressed with the graphics in the trailer.
And like Kamaku said the game seems very repetitive. But I guess if I buy the 2004 bionicles I want.
I might go ahead and get it.

Have either of you played it? No. And do you remember that this is for GBA? Of course the graphics aren't going to be great, the GBA is a HAND HELD. What would you prefer? That, or 2D Pokemon style?

I like the review . It's just to bad the game doesn't stick to the storyline. If you don't fight swarms of Bohrok, then who do you have to fight at all? I't looks like Gali has to battle Rukies on one screen. It sure looks funny , all the poor Ruki!

Alright! Reviews for the Bionicle game. But I think you play Takua and try to find the MoL. After that you turn into Takanuva. I hope my mom and dad get me a Playstation2 and Bionicle: The Game for Christmas.

Cool review, while I was reading it I didn't know it was for GBA. And when I saw the screenshots I was really surprised, for a second there I thought that you were reviewing the PC, PS2, etc.. version *stops panting* . Great review though! Too bad you don't get extra cool powers with the Nuva. I don't have a GBA but it looked kind of cool.

Good review -X-, but actually, the gameplay is different for the nuva. For example, you can dig through harder rock with Onua Nuva, and you can lift larger rocks with Pohatu Nuva. You can also jump higher when in nuva form. It is a very addictive and very fun game; though, the controls are hard to get the hang of. It doesn't follow the storyline too well, but none the less, it is a game worth one's money. So I agree on your rating, I give it a B+ also.

No offense but good controls are always essential for a game and useually what takes hours for an adulkt to master is pretty simple for teens like us kids. AnywayIt doesn't sound like it's worth that 30 for it. Good thing I went for boktai. Maybe I'll rent it when the ps 2 version is out.

Awsome! Though, I'm going to wait for it to come out for PS2. Once it does, I'm going to get the game as soon as possible! P.S: No rumor. I was at Wal-Mart the other day and the hot topic at the electronics was Gamboy Advance SP colors flame and onyx, and the release of Bionicle: The game for the new gameboys.
