"Gorast is a fierce warrior, but once you have finished discussing dismemberment, slaughter, carnage, and decapitation, she has nothing much left to say."-Mutran ![]() Well, I finished my colouring of the Pre-Mutation Gorast from my artpile. And I thought I might as well give it it's own topic. ^^ C&C is encouraged. But remember what our good Nikki said. Enjoy! -VF -------------------- |

Ooo...
This is probably the best art I've ever seen. Her color scheme look great here. I also like that 'sword of darkness' effect. I think I'll set it as my avatar, can I? |

That is a really cool picture. The mask looks just like her mutated one, and she looks very feminine, while still a makuta. I like how the rest of her body is completely covered in shadow. Good job

Yes. YES. Thank you for feminizing the least feminine female ever released. Thank for for being one of the select few to even realize that the Makuta Mistika never used to look the way they currently do. Thank you for adding personality and depth to an otherwise faily uni-dimensional character.
Excellent piece. The light reflections may have been applied a tad overzealously, the right arm's pose might be a tad off (as are the size of the fingers, but this was probably intentional), and I would have liked more shadow rather than the white in the upper left hand corner, but these beefs are minor. Great stylization of the Kanohi. Nice job. -------------------- ![]() |

Wow. I didn't like the sketch, but this is simply amazing. I'll look at that picture every time I read Brothers in Arms.

That is incredible. When I first read her being called "Mistress of the Acid Falls" I imagined her like this, not her set form, this looks more feminine, more deserving of the title "Mistress", 10/10.

I love the way she seems to be emerging from darkness. The sword is held at an odd angle, one that would certainly give me a broken arm. But then she's a Makuta.

Wow. This is great. She looks a little like the mutated Gorast, but at the same time more Makuta-like. I like how she looks really evil and threatening.

Wow. I like how you made the background a gradient, which really makes her look nice. It's definitely Gorast. She has the mask, non mosquito version. I luvs how you made the arms....all spike-insecty but stillo Toa like. Also, not REDICULOUSLY feminine. Just perfect.

That's real good. I like the darkness effect alot and her mask looks very cool. You should draw the other two Mistika Makuta.

Wow this is really good, especially the sword thats amazing.
though i feel i feel that it would be better if the cape never "covered" part of the image. I hope you can draw other makuta such as krika and bitil -------------------- |

I definately have to agree with Dokuma, you've made a very un-feminine set look like her gender. Plus, she has an actual figure, not to mention hair around that otherwise flat head. The colors look about the same, which is good, and I presume you didn't add the translucent wings and other pair of arms because those might have been caused by the mutation. And the effects are great too, including the purple vortex around her right hand, the shadowy blade coming out of her right, and the fading to black around her waist. Overall, good job. ~B~ Both are in the making. Krika is inked and waiting for me to colour him, Bitil is still a work in progress in the sketching stage, but I am getting there. Thanks for the comments guys! I really appreciate them! -------------------- |
