1. Was Spinax mutated by the mutagen in the Pit at all, or did he always look the way he did?

3. Why wasn't Makuta Teridax affected by the mutagen in the Pit?

4. Can Skakdi or Vortixx wear Kanohi masks?

5. Would it be possible for noble versions of the Makuta's masks to exist? ( Ex: a Noble Shelek)

Yes, Mazeka works for the Order, though I do not believe he is a full member. This is already known, though, so not much point in posting it.

Here's a follow-up question about the Vortixx/ Kanohi thing:

4. So would a Vortixx be able to access the power of a noble or great level Kanohi just like a Toa?

4) It's possible, if they had the proper mental discipline. I certainly think Roodaka could.

So yeah, someone should put that on BioSector01. I would myself but I'm not a member.

Just a few questions I need answered.

1) Would a Toa of Light be able to push light away from himself to make himself near invisible in low light?

2) I noticed this on BS01: under the list of example uses for Shadow, it says, creating a Shadow hand, but it doesn't say Makuta exclusive, like some other examples. Would a Toa of Shadow be able to use this? If so, would said Toa be able to absorb the thing they grab into themselves?

3) When the Nui Stone is activated, and it absorbs energy from Toa within it's range, do the Toa the energy is being taken from weaken? If so, is the weakening gradual and they are being drained constantly, or does it happen all at once?

4) A Makuta is still able to move as long as some part of their essence remains inside their armour, correct? For instance, if a Makuta has gotten his armour pierced, and some of their essence was leaking out they would be able to move.

1) Technically, yes, but we don't let him do it in story because an invisible Toa who can fire lasers kind of unbalances the story
2) Yes, on creating the hand, no on the absorption
3) It's very gradual

1) Yes
2) Only for a split second, not long enough to notice
3) It wouldn't be possible to summon twice from the exact same instant -- you would need to summon from an instant before or an instant after


I'm not sure if he understood the last one. I meant if in the past a form summons a form further in the past while a form in the future summons the form further in the past at the same time.

Because of you people persistantly defying me, this topic is being temporarily closed.

I said not to discuss that thing. Period. I don't care if it was mentioned at all in the comic (even though some members helped explain why it's not allowed, because what that thing is was never described in the comic. You can't actually know what it is without reading BL10. Thank you to those who tried to help). But because there are those of you who appear to be quite ignorant, stubborn, and disrespectful, let it be known that this is what results from that. The topic will be probably be reopened later today once all of those posts I had to set as invisible (what was it... over 10?) have been cleaned and this message has gotten across to all of you.

My apologies if I offended anybody with that reply (and the lateness of the reopening). Anyways, the topic is now open once more.

3) Can Toa "Eat" food to replenish there elemental energy after they exhausted them?

4) Lesovikk and Sarda are help capturing escaped pit prisoners. You said they have not met Hydraxon. Is there chance for them to someday run into him, or are they wroking far away then where Hydraxon is working?
4a) If they ever did meat Hydraxon, would Hydraxon think they are runners and try to capture them, or would he believe that Lesovikk and Sarda are helping him?

5) Okay, Why doesn't Brutaka just sneak up upon each Makuta and suck them into the world of light creatures he mentioned in Fof?
5a) Would he do it in the BHoM/OoMN war this summer, i he ever came across a Makuta?

1a) In terms of actually written about, hardly any of it. We haven't been to the southern continent at all in story so far.

3) No, that won't replenish elemental energy. It can only return over time
4) They might meet him someday, sure
4a) Most like he would try to capture them
5) Because if Makuta start disappearing left and right, the BOM starts investigating and finds out about the OOMN before the OOMN wants them to.
5A) Depends. He could do it to Spiriah because Spiriah was in the middle of hanging off a bridge. An average Makuta in combat is not going to be so easy to get into a gate, plus while Brutaka is focusing on his mask power, he can't do much else, which leaves him vulnerable to attack. AND he can't be sure the Makuta wouldn't survive and find their way back.
