Hi Greg. These are all questions I posted on "the other BIONICLE forum" which you haven't answered. I'm PMing them to you here because that forum's topic for these sorts of questions is really piling up with unanswered questions, and you already missed one of my sets of questions because it was all mixed up with those of other people.

You can ignore these questions there if you answer them here; in fact, once I get a response, I'll edit the questions out of my post there to make things easier for you to pick out other people's questions. Here goes:

1. Since shadow leeches have a short lifespan, do Tridax Pods help keep them alive until used? I know it’s pretty obvious, but I need an official statement since I’m pretty certain you never touched on the subject in a book.

2. If you supported romance in BIONICLE, which two characters do you think would make the best couple? (i.e. boyfriend-girlfriend)

2b. Which couple would probably be the most fun to write for?

3. When you wrote for Nikila in Dreams of Destruction, did you have personality traits in mind for Toa of Lightning or did you just make up a personality for Nikila and her alone?

3b. Which of her personality traits would you consider typical of a Toa or Matoran of Lightning?

4. Do you select the names for new characters, masks, etc. from the approved names list or does someone else do that? I’d guess set designers, but then that leaves the question of how names are chosen for stuff that doesn’t appear in sets.

5. The Vortixx of Xia don’t care who it is they serve as long as they get good payment. What about the Nynrah Ghosts?

6. When Tahu, Pohatu, and Onua become Akamai Nuva, the new entity’s Kanohi Aki Nuva is identical to Tahu’s Hau Nuva. Would the same be true with the adaptive masks?

6b. Can the same be said for the adaptive Miru Nuva (both environments) and the adaptive Rua Nuva?

7. Did the Hand of Artahka have any connection to Artahka, or at least any reason his name was tied to the organization?

8. In an old PM, you told me that Kopaka’s eyepiece and similar attachments could be manually removed. When Kopaka got his new adaptive Akaku Nuva, was the eyepiece already on the opposite eye from his old one, or did he manually switch it to his left eye so he could better aim his Skyblaster?

Hey Greg, I'm not 100% sure how accurate the information I'm basing this question off of is, but I'm taking it from the Wiki.

According to the Wiki, Av-Matoran are larger than the average Matoran tribe because of exposure to Karda Nui's energies. Also according to the Wiki, Takanuva has grown so huge because of his exposure to the Core. The wiki claims that, if removed from the core, Av-Matoran would revert to smaller sizes. Does this mean, then, that outside of the core, Takanuva would also return to the average size of a Toa?

Yes, that is correct

Not sure if that's news to anyone or not, but Takanuva is not permanently gargantuan.

Now we just have to hope he lives to see a day when he can leave Karda Nui.

2. 2009 is not in an ALTERNATE UNIVERSE, a DOME, the SURFACE (aka same level of the is. MN), in SPACE, on another PLANET? Correct, for I recall seeing quotes by you agreeing with these.

4. Is a Glatorian the same as a Toa? Similar?
4a. And Vastus is a misspelling, correct?

5. Are their different Layers of life on the planet (such as the top layer is the endless ocean and matoran universe, and then under that there is a whole layer).

1- Was the reason that Mata-Nui gave the Makuta the 42 Kraata powers because if the rahi they create can end up dangerous or have powers they did not know about? For an example- Mutran created a rahi that has strong ice control. he could be safe cause he has strong Ice resistance.

They're not all clone sets. The 2003 Nuva were more clone-ish than the Mistika/Phantoka. Really, don't be so silly.

Toa probably aren't that easy to create, otherwise he already would have done it. And probably he doesn't create them anymore because now the Matoran become Toa and he does no longer need to create them. And a Toa army would be unlikely since only 50+ Toa remain alive.

Remember also that they would be novice Toa, and the Nuva are ooooold and trained. It all comes down to them in the core right now, sending an army of untrained Toa at six Makuta would be murder.

Even if Artahka did supply a Toa army, you still have to train them. All of them. That could take more time than can be spared. The Order has to sacrifice a warrior to train the Toa, and that is assuming that they are all like the Toa Mata. It just isn't plausible.

Hello Greg. I was wondering, On BS01, regarding the Ignika's curse, it says the following:

Gadunka - Could devolve beings, including itself.

Now, Gadunka couldn't devolve himself without having evolved. Does this mean that all gadunka will eventually evolve into larger beings?

Off the top of my head, I don't recall Gadunka ever devolving anyone. So I am not sure where they got that idea from.

In my short story Dume repaired it with his Kiril, since it was just armor, not organic tissue.

The old character is Akhmou. If you read the adventure book series, you would know that Makuta Teridax managed to keep Akhmou under his control, since he was lost in an amnesia enducing pod at the botton of the sea. Teridax opened it and told Akhmou exactly the oposite of the truth, telling him that the Toa were evil. Its gotta be Akhmou.

I have some good reasons why you should do the '09 MU serial in the summer instead of in the winter:

1. Because there no chapter books next winter, more story will have to go into the comics and web serials. So instead of only two serials, there are now three. Which equals more story being told.

2. With the movie next summer, a book about the movie, and movie story throughout all of the summer, it might be refreshing to have the MU serial then.

3. We need some time to miss the MU characters too. We would have that if the serial was in the summer.
