Heck, you saw it coming. Writing Literary Saloon was probably one of the best experiences I had writing, and I think the characters in it are so hilarious that I just can't leave em in the annals of Groucho's Literature forever. So, without further ado:


Literary Saloon 2
The Big Sequel Thingy

Date: September 17, 2003
Location: Motara Dessert, Mata-Nui

GaliGee looked over her shoulder. It had been quite some time since Makuta was finally destroyed, and all traces of evil had all but vanished. But she was not so sure. There had to be a hitch somewhere. There just had to.

Groucho, TOL, dhik, CICASV, pucateamskater, ToM Nuva, KopakaX, and R2-D2 looked into one of the caves. They had all gotten to Mata-Nui by means of one of them. Why? They all were on the pursuit of Makuta and the Rahkshi after they kidnapped GaliGee from a supposed safe haven, known as the Literary Saloon. They found GaliGee brainwashed and under Makuta’s control, but she was healed by CICASV’s fairies, and the members of the Bionicle Girl’s Corner, led by Crankenstien, took down Makuta. They had just now begun their journey back home for a little peace.

TOL: Hey! Guys! I think I just found the portal!
CICASV: Uh, why is it still open? Shouldn’t it have closed at some point?
KX: I think someone forgot to shut it after they went through it. Now, who was the last person out?
All: Artoo!
R2: Yeah, yeah. So what? I’m a droid, for Mata-Nui’s sake! I couldn’t close it!
pts: *rolls his eyes* Oh, sure! Just because you’re a droid, you get to do whatever you want?
R2: Wanna start something, SK8r Boi?
pts: Bring it on, trashcan! I could take you down with…
GaliGee: Stop! We now know, after defeating Makuta, that we were granted greater powers, and greater control over those powers. It’s a shame we cannot control our tempers as well.
KX: Wasn’t that from something?
dhik: Yeah, the interview with the Bohrok-Kal, I think. Anyway, we better get back on home. I don’t think any Matoran were foolish enough to go into one of these.
KX: *thinking* I bet I can name a few…
Groucho: Um, we better get back to the Saloon. For some reason, I think we need to get that place repaired after those Rahkshi tore it up.
(Murmurs from the members)
(All of the Fellowship of the Gee go down into the portal. R2 remembers to close it as they go back to Enfield)
Gollum: Ah… precious… those fools don’t know what’s in store for them… ha ha ha…
Hafu: Vhat are you doing in my gallery? Get out! Shoo! And get off zat statue of Lili!
Gollum: Oh, all right, precious…

Location: Enfield, Connecticut
Groucho: It certainly feels good to be back on Earthly soil again, eh?
ToM Nuva: You said it!
dhik: Okay, now that we’ve all had our sentimental moments, can we just get on with going home?
Groucho: Oh, right. To his Excellency’s car!
GaliKat: Hey, you’re getting it right more often than not now!
Groucho: It helps to be a creature of habit.
(Harpo, driving a bus, comes up to the members. GaliGee and the Fellowship pile into the bus and settle themselves down for the trip. ToM finds a TV in the bus and finds the remote control.)
ToM: So, anyone up for some Mask of Light?
Groucho: Why? We’ve already lived the actual version of it!
ToM: Like that’s a problem? I think we can see Makuta’s bruises during the Kohlii match if we look closely.
KX: Ooo… that sounds like fun!!!
ToM: Suit yourself!
(Flips to the DVD player and loads up the Mask of Light)

Later…
Location: New York, New York

Groucho: Harpo, how long until we get a rest stop?
Harpo: *honk*
Groucho: That’s good. We’ll rest a bit in NYC, everyone! There’s a four-star hotel just downtown.
pts: That’s good, I’m starting to get annoyed by R2’s chicken jokes…
R2: …And I said, “Boy, that hen was a victim of fowl play!”
pts: *sigh* droids…
(The bus suddenly stops. All of the beings look out of the bus to see the suspension bridge, which has a large gaping hole in the center.)
Policeman: Sorry folks, can’t let you pass here. There’s been a few weird folk wandering into town lately, and they’re causing havoc!
pts: Weird folk?
Policeman: Yeah, from what I’ve heard, some sort of lizard-like creature with spikes. They all carried sticks with them, for some odd reason.
pts: Oh, okay. We’ll just pass on from the west, then.
Policeman: Wait a sec…
(Studies the bus, which looks surprisingly familiar)
Policeman: Please, all passengers step out of the vehicle.
(All of them come out of the bus. Policeman sees that nearly all of them are masquerading as other famous figures)
Policeman: Wait… I’ve heard of this group before! Some shady guy came into our office the other day telling us about this group, right, Mullen?
Policeman2: Yeah, McCarty. A couple of girls took him down, and he said that you 9 are the ones that led em. Boy that guy gave me the creeps. He just sent shivers down my spine…
GaliGee: What… Did he look like?
Mullen: I’m not sure. He had this mask and long trench coat on, and he wouldn’t let anyone take those off during interrogation. Anytime someone got the courage to, they’d run off in fear, right, McCarty?
McCarty: Yeah, he really was a really creepy deep-voiced guy. Don’t know why he blasted out part of the wall on the way out…
CICASV: Wait a sec…
ToM: Mask…
R2: running off in fear…
pts: deep voice…
dhik: blasted out part of the wall?
KX: Makuta!
TOL: That rat…
Groucho: Yeah. I thought we got rid of him long ago!
McCarty: Oh, so you do know that shady character? You all better come with us, then.
(Mullen and McCarty handcuff the Fellowship of the Gee, and stuff them into the police cars. The police cars drive off into the distance while a Rahkshi hiss can be heard in the distance.)

Hooray for Captain Spaulding!

[Tolan: Toa of Ho...]

And were off! Makuta will live to regret this. Hold on... *Listens to the earth* TAKE US TO THE NEAREST LEGOLAND! THAT'S WHERE MAKUTA IS! I can feel it in the earth.

Yes, I to have been watching LOTR to much and have picked up most of Legolas's traking tricks.

So anyway, back to the story. Once again you have outdone yourself. Keep up the good work! The fellowship of the Gee, that's a good idea! Keep it up!

McCarty: AHH! Mullen, he's gone and blown a fuse! HELP!

Note from Nova Nuhvok: Okay...please don't get into the random role-playing stuff again. You are not a writer for this story, so writing your own little mini-spinoffs and outtakes is not a good idea. That stuff just promotes SPAM. I would hate to let this little gem be torn down like BCS. Keep a majority of your post ON topic. Most of this is OFF topic.

YAY ! LS2 is off to a great start ! Those parts were my favorite !

Makuta escaped !? That's a pretty twisted.....twist.

OH NO ! I've never been arrested before in my life ! My parents are going to kill me !

But anyways Like I said , the story has started off very good. How many total chapters will there be in this one ? I hope it's a lot. I LOVE this story.

I believe the number of chapters is not set right now, but it will include a chapter 4 Lord of the Rings parody. You can count on it!

Oh, and now for some commentary:

Mullen and McCarty, the two police officers, had their names ripped from the Marx Brothers movie, "Horse Feathers." Chico and Harpo had to kidnap these guys so they wouldn't play on in the Thanksgiving day Football game. Hilarious stuff if you ever want to rent it.

This is the first story that I've written that has acutally left the heroes in trouble at the end of the first chapter.

Oh, and I have a feeling Nova Nuhvok will be getting a few more spam-fighting utilities...

Man, that was hillarious. That part when PtS and R2-D2 were fight just made me crack up, I doubt I will ever make an apperamce I've only posted in GG stories a couple times........

Great chapter! I like how R2 forgot to close the door, and how Makuta said that pohatu jr. and Kikua took him down... that was hilarious! I should stop by the comedies more often... haven't been around much after Nova closed the BCS.

Oh boy, here we go again! I loved the last LS, so this is great! The part above was my favorite part, but the whole chapter was good. I liked Hafu still having that cheesy French accent. "Get off zat statue of Lili!" And I also remeber that Bohrok-Kal interview quite well, and the quote. Anyway, Great chapter! I can't wait to see what happens from here, now that you are all locked up.

Whee! Already we have a bunch of our favorite jokes resurrected, infighting among the members of the Fellowship, a road trip, and trouble with the law. I'm liking it, Groucho! And the promise of more LotR stuff. But... did you HAVE to put Makuta in it again?

Great, Groucho, just great. Now are we all going to have to share the station computer?

It was good. The only flaw was length. Watching MoL, though... Bad move. I'd be reciting lines as the characters said them through the entire movie. (I've seen it 16 times. Who has a count to challenge mine?)

*sigh* Dead comedians. Always getting us normal (okay, abnormal) folk into trouble in NYC.

BTW: I am... The Architect. But please, call me Larry. Ergo, some of my jokes you'll understand, and some you will not. Condordantly, while your first eyebrow-raising may be the most pertinent, you may or may not also find that it is the most irrelevant.

Okay, my favorite part was probably when GG was quoting the comic line, and the part where you guys were all like "trench coat...mask...fear...Makuta!" or whatever. Can't wait for the next chapter! And you didn't have to put my story in your Literary Corner; it's not that good, anyways.
