NEW UPDATE 3/6/04!!!!!!!!! just look for the big green update below!
Okay, this is my Nidhiki Moc. Someone else found it on my brickshelf account, but it is now closed (or going to be closed). He is almost all the way accurate except for the colors, the head, and some other little peices. I used all of the Nidhiki pics I could find, and I was off to taking apart my sets (*sniff* I will miss you exo-toa. I salute you!  ). It took me thursday night (a lot of hours) to do everything but the head, and friday morning (I had friday off instead of presidents day  ) to do the head. Today (saturday) I took the pics, resized them (ugh I hate that it takes too long!), and put them on brickshelf. I wanted to wait till a lot of people were in the bbc forum, but before I could post this topic I noticed another topic of a person who found my moc. Well, now I am posting this. Oh, yeah, and to switch from the body up to body being down, you don't have to take anything apart, you just move it up and down!Oh yeah, in the pics that I got to help me make my moc as accurate as possible I found him with a green and a blue vahki head. I now have Nidhiki with his updated parts: 2 of matau's feet and a little thing that is white on my MOC, but is green in the set. Well here is the link to the brickshelf (By the way I ended up using matau's mask, only because my stupid dog chewed up my green kaukau  ):UPDATED FORM Well that is all, if anyone wants to see him in a different pose please tell me. Oh, and I absolutely love feedback so... PLEASE POST!!!!!!!! off topic: please also visit my other topic in the bbc about the Archives. It has Whenua's and Tehutti's documentaries on new rahi that have been appearin on Metru Nui. The new rahi are 6 mocs that I built out of the Toa Metru. A surprise will also follow, once I get all six of them up. Lets just say if the Vahki mess around with one of them too much, then well they will be sorry! he he he!

wow that does almost look like the real thing. both the heads are good, i really like it. the arms look just like the real thing and its body sorta does too. i think this is one of the best nidhiki mocs out there (if there were any other ones that i didnt see). Kutgw!

it does look pretty much like it, but a lot smaller, and lower down. - still not bad!
i really like the way you've done the claws, they look the most like the real thing. the head looks a bit...well errm odd, it looks like he/its wearing a hat or sumthing, it doesn't look much like it, but still its not bad (considering you don't have any of the actaule heads.) You've done a good job on the body work, but the arms look a bit too big in comparison (sp?  ) to it, which is only a slight let down  .overall, i havent looked at very many Nidhiki mocs, and i'm sure i will be seeing a lot of them...this one, allthough looks a lot like Nidhiki, it is a bit out of scale compared to what i've seen of the actual thing. but still, its a very worthy attemt! Cool! It is a lot like nihdki, my favorite of the 2004 sets. How do you make that disc launcher go right into the center of the beast, and how many makuta's did you have to get?

Yeah, I could have put that on, but the head is slightly clear, but not too clear, just slightly, so I decided to put on a clear green mask. But the blue one is just like Nidhiki's head in that it is slightly clear, but not too clear, just slightly, but the green mask is too clear, in my opinion.
Well I actually thought he was too tall, so thanks ! Yeah the claws were one of the things that I tried to do exactly how they are (except for the color and the tiny nui rama wings, as in the same peice as the nui rama wings but smaller). I have to agree with you on the head, I really dont like it, but I couldn't have thought of a better way to do it. Trust me if I did the head the way I first did it, it would be a lot worse. I guess I kind of do like the head, only because I don't have the actual Vahki heads. Yeah, they do, but in the pics I found they did look too big in comparison. Yeah, but I tried, and thanks!
Well to make it stay in the center I had to get creative and use two of these: A link to the pieces I used to make the disk launcher go right in the center of Nidhiki, I found this pic on the Land of Bricks's shop. I couldn't describe it so there you go. To see where I put them just look closely at this pic. There is one right above the disk launcher and one right below the disk launcher. Well I got a makuta for my b-day right when it came out (go summer b-days!!!!) also a takanuva for my b-day, so that is half of the ones I needed, and then for Christmas, I wanted the MEK so I got the TRU exclusive Takanuva, Makuta, and MEK. So I got just enough! I have recently noticed that I need to add a couple of pieces, so I will do that and put it up, later! See yo later and since I just absolutely love feedback... PLEASE, PLEASE POST I LOVE FEEDBACK!!!! he he sorry 'bout that...

Extemely accurate! Almost nothing wrong with hit, except the colors. Jeese, you actually have 6 takanuva staffs! You're probably the only person on BZP who has that many. Good job!

 where did you get all those kolhii staffs? I only have 5 cause I have 2 makutas but did you borrow the staffs from someone else?

Usually I don't really like the mimic MOCs, but this one's actually pretty cool! And really close, when I compare it with a pic. Of course, the colors are wrong, but that can be expected, eh?

Nice! That looks a lot like the Nidhkii. The only thing I would suggest would be to use jest the green head, it works better. Otherwise, great job!

There is a new update!!!!!! I have updated My Nidhiki MOC to look more like the nidhiki set! Here is the link:
Updated Form The new parts are: the 2 Matau feet and the white (at least on my MOC it is white) piece that holds part of the body together (you will probably have to look at my pics to see what I mean)! -------------------- |

Hmmm.... Perhaps it is a bit out of scale, but I rather like the larger arms. It actually looks cooler than the official arms; good job!

Great Nidhiki Moc! Very accurate design to it, I have seen a lot of Nidhiki Mocs but this ones the best! Keep up the great work, try making Krekka.
