It would be nice if they eventually sold it. I would love to get my hands on it.

Do you think they'll sell it in the Lego Catalog or Lego stores? Cause I could just go to Minneapolis and pick up a whole bunch.

That's what I'm talking about. The mask itself isn't worth that much. Having to take a day to go to Legoland is. California has the second highest gas prices in the nation, plus 5+ hours driving, + admission (ษ), + a couple of hours in the park....it adds up pretty quickly especially when I figure my time to be worth ฤ/hr (what I charge for most duties). It's easily a 贶 trip for me when all is said and done. That means I'd need at least 30 masks when I leave the park just to break even @ ŭ each. That certainly isn't going to happen.

You would have to go to LL get the mask yourself, but many are available on eBay and Brickbay from second hand sellers for less than บ

I was visiting my parents in CA a couple of months ago. We took the kids to LEGOland. Here's the drill...
They gave each of the kids a form with 6 mask pictures. As you went through the park, the kids are supposed to find large wooden mask plaques. When you find one, you write the name by the mask. (A scavenger hunt.) At the end, you turn in the form for a "free prize". (The prize is the yellow-green transparent Miru.) Now this was before the kids (and I) got hooked on Bionicle. We were all dead-tired after a day in the park. As we were leaving, we went to turn in the form and were told that you had to turn it in half-way across the park! Well, I couldn't disappoint the kids, so my oldest (6yrs) and I made the trek. So, after expensive park tickets, and a long walk, we were expecting a small LEGO kit (10pcs or something like that). I remember thinking "hmmm, now what are they going to do with this silly plastic mask!" (Little did I know that everyone would want one!) Also note: If you're thinking about going to LEGOland, note that it is geared for small children. I believe that the ads indicate ages 2-12, but much past 8 and the kids will be bored (Disney is a better bet for older kids). My 3 year old could go on all but 4 rides. He was only 1/4 inch below the height limit for those. |

Well, if I had enough people wanting a mask, I might be willing to work something out, but with Legoland a 2.5 hour drive for me (Los Angeles), I'd need to find a real reason to get down there. I'm not going for just a couple of masks. It would be easier just to let those closer to Legoland go there and sell their masks on Brickbay.
