The Tale of Lhikan.

Chapter 1

The sun rose on the glorious city of Kina Nui. Matoran woke up from their sleep, and started to work. One matoran in particular was angry. He rose in his bed and rubbed his eyes. The matoran, Lhikan slid out of bed and slunk down the stairs. He looked over his small Ta-matoran’s forge. He looked at the tools at his desk. Lhikan was the most reckless mask maker and he used no safety goggles. Lhikan quickly got to work. He knew that the Kerala would be checking. Lhikan was happy the Kerala couldn’t read minds. He would be in prison for a long, long time. Lhikan belived that the Turaga, Draleth was corrupt, and thought that he was the cause of death for the Toa. Lhikan soon finished the mask, and it was a Rua, a mask of wisdom. Creating these masks from directly protodermis was dangerous. Just the smallest crack can cause the mask to explode. Lhikan soon heard his phone ringing. Lhikan dashed over and picked it up. It was a prerecorded message telling him to come to the arena.

Draleth soon docked on a windswept, rocky island. He went through the village of so many hunters. Braglath hissed at him. Draleth thought Ugh. Stupid brutes. Draleth once went on a reconannance mission with Braglath. He ruined the whole thing. Soon Draleth got to where he wanted. A large palace with a door adorned with ancient scripts that even Draleth couldn’t read. He walked into the large palace and made his way to the throne room. When he got there he scowled. His master wasn’t there. He must be either at the execution room, his quarters, or the confrence room. Draleth walked into the confrence room. He saw his master there, but he was talking with those worthless goodie goodies, the Brotherhood of Makuta. Draleth said, “Master why must you speak with these fools?” Draleth’s master said, “You no nothing about this meeting. Why must you try to pry into it.” Draleth mustered up a lighting bolt and shot it at a member. The member created a shadowy vortex, which absorbed the lightening.

Draleth stepped back at this sudden display of negative energy. Draleth’s master stood up and pulled a switch. Draleth was too busy staring at the Makuta to notice the pit of spikes open up behind him. The master ambled toward him, and spoke about the Makuta, and told him how they were evil. Draleth understood, and then his master yelled look behind him. Draleth turned around, and felt a hard shove. Draleth stumbled and fell into the pit.

Draleth felt three sharp objects penatrate his body. He saw the spikes and the crimson that stained them. He felt his heart light crack, and he sunk deeper into fire, and suffering.

Chapter two

Lhikan almost leaped out of the door of his small workspace. He ran out on to the street narrowly avoiding speeder bikes. He found a chute station, and started his way to the arena. When Lhikan got there he ran towards the main gate to only discover two grumbling guards. "Excuse me, I have to get in." The guard on the right side responded, "Why do you need to go here?" Lhikan looked at him quiziclly and asked, "Doesn't the Turaga tell you these things?" The guard on the left grumbled, "Hey we just guard, we don't get paid to listen." Soon the Commander of the armies stepped out. The Commander's name was Gareth. He was a old, wise turaga with a noble Suletu, mask of telepathy. Gareth spoke to the guards and ordered them to let Lhikan through. The guards agreed, and all of a sudden they acted cheerful and excited. I guess they only want to be paid Lhikan thought. The turaga led him to the Toa Suva. Five other Matoran from different islands were also there. One Lhikan recoginzed. "Nidhiki, how are you doing." "I'm doing very well Lhikan, very well." Lhikan met Nidhiki on a trip to deliver parts. The matoran saved him when a Nui-Rama caused a chute collapse. "Lhikan, why do you think we are here?", asked Nidhiki. "Well, I don't know. I think that we should ask the turaga." The matoran chattered amongst themselves, and they never notice Gareth step into the Turaga's box. Lhikan saw this and asked, "Turaga, what's going on? Where's Draleth?" "Draleth has mysterously dissapeared. The council fears the worse." Gareth responded. Nidhiki shuddred at this fact. "Now, let us get our minds off this depressing subject. You will all become the next Toa."

Makuta sat in his throne of darkness with a smirk on his mask. Makuta had heard from his spies that there were going to be new Toa. His two most trusted members of the Brotherhood stepped into the room. The tall red, and black Makuta with large wings was called Pheonix. He was a powerful Makuta with Rhotoka nova spinners, and a sword which he used to command his visorak armies. The other Makuta, Verrick was a Makuta with a slightly hunched body, and stood tall when he was angered. His blade tipped tail swished back and forth, and his wings which doubled as spears were flapping back and forth to cool him down. His cold heartless eyes peered out from a Vahki's head, and stared straight at Makuta. "Brothers, what brings you two here." "Makuta," Verrick announced, " We have heard of new Toa. They must be crushed immediately." "I agree," Pheonix snarled, "Makuta we have to destroy these Toa." "My Brothers, stay patient I kn-" Makuta didn't finish his sentence. He was too shocked to do itReview
