The new chapter wasn't great, but we see Kurenai's (sp) pregnancy, otherwise not much.

The seal loosening only happened as a flashback in the anime. It was only mentioned in the manga.

As for the movies, I believe they stay as such.

As for the new chapter, it was a bit quiet. However, you can't always have fight fight fight, you have to have calm points to balance it out.

It was speculated that the 8-tailed beast was based upon a snake or dragon by fans because of Yamata no Orochi, translated as the Eight-Forked Serpent in English. It was legendary 8-headed and 8-tailed creature. Of course, now we know it was wrong.

We just saw a vague shadow of the Hachibi; It's too soon to be pulling cephalopods out of a hat. I'm not saying that it can't be an octopus, or a squid, I'm saying, it's too soon to be saying it's 'definitely' this or 'definitely' that. The jury's still out. The Tailed Beasts have all so far been based on Japanese mythology, so, it very well could be, as I said, an eight-tailed dragon. Then again, it could be an octopus, as others have said. The fact is, we don't know.

Yeah; The simplest way to say it is, we just don't know. I've seen a LOT of Naruto Forums that have jumped right on the Octopus Bandwagon, even when we've only seen a faint shadow. It COULD be an Octopus, it could be something else. We don't know, and we don't know when we'll know, seeing as how Kishimoto likes to draw things out; What I'm worried about is how he's turning Sasuke into a God with all these powers. And if he has Sasuke single-handedly defeat the Hachibi in one or two chapters, I will have the proper motivation and pure fury to swim all the way to Japan, find him, and hit him on the --- with a 2x4 until he cries, pees himself, and has Naruto Falcon Punch Sasuke to tears. Simple. <3

Sasuke is Mary-Sue reincarnated.

I mean the uber sharingan, the ability to stop Tailed Beasts, Chidori, and many other god-like abilities.Is'nt the story called Naruto?

I doubt it, for some reason i'm starting to think that Masashi Kishimoto has just fallen in love with the Uchiha, and Sasuke in general.

I agree with Zyglakky Sparky, Kishimoto has fallen in love with Sasuke. Even though the Mang/Aneme is called Naruto, most of the latest chapters are about Sasuke and his team.

No; He could be somehow making the bodies in the image of the shinobi, and giving them abilities. If you haven't guessed, I'm pretty much making this up as I go along.

Anyway, I personally think Pain is still a timid little boy deep inside; if you'll look, he's attempting to teach the Shinobi world the terror of war, by giving them war, so that they will be at peace. It's like a plan a small kid would think up, but never be able to finish, because they don't have the power to put it into action. Pain has the power needed. It really does sound like he has the combined mentality of a world-weary soldier and a big-eyed little kid. He's really quite interesting.

I would also like to learn about Zetsu. How the heck did he become what he is, what is Zetsu's story?

Zetsu is my favorite Akatsuki member.

Zetsu is easily distinguished by two large venus fly trap-like extensions enveloping his head. These extensions can envelope the rest of his body as well, giving him a plant-like appearance. When his extensions are open and his head is visible, it is revealed Zetsu has two different colored halves of his body, the left side completely white and the right side black. To go with this, Zetsu seems to have a split personality, as in the Japanese version of the manga the black half of his face speaks only in Katakana while the white side uses Kanji and Kana, and in the English episodes the black side has a different voice actor than the white side. The two halves also seem to converse with each other, and occasionally differ in opinion. They also seem to communicate with their thoughts. To further his venus fly trap theme, Zetsu is also a cannibal.

Yeah, they have revealed the stories of all the members except him. Is he even human? Does he know any other justsu? I would like to hear some of these questions answered. That, and is Kisame part shark.

Well, we might learn his story soon, I hope. All signs point to him being from Kusagakure, but we can't be sure of even that. I can't begin to guess his abilities. Zetsu, International Shinobi of Mystery. I like that, glad I came up with it...

The fillers looked cool at the beginning, but by the last three episodes it got really annoying. But now that we're up to the Hidan/Asuma arc, we should see some great stuff soon.

Yes, the main purpose of the fillers was to enlighten more on Asuma's past, as well as an excuse for Naruto to just be getting out of the hostpital.
