 -3.0- This topic was originally made on Christmas Eve 2006 and was my 350th post in the Artwork 3 forum. It was relaunched for Season 2 two weeks after the season finale of the TV show 'Heroes'. The current season, 3.0, was relaunched May 7th. There is no significant reason it was relaunched on this date, but you should just be glad it's back. As many of you know, this is a 'Klinkerpoop' series, where all the authors take turns making comics. Heroes, however, has a catch. There are 2 author cycles so production can go faster and the plot can become twisted and crazy. Season 3 was spontaneously relaunched after many organized attempts for a relaunch failed miserably, so there isn't even a real organized author schedule. Alas, it worked out this time and Heroes is finally back for a third season! ------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------ Season 3 After the terrible cliffhanger that ended season 2 (thanks to lots of author tension), Kortu and FLuGLeHieMeR return several months later on a mission to find heroes, new and old, to assemble a team and fight crime. They also get their nifty costumes back. Everything that happened in between seasons 2 and 3 is explained in the first 7 comics of the season, presented as a hand drawn graphic novel sort of thing. Authors Heroes' unique approach on the author cycles allows us to get comics done faster. This season's cycle works like the last seasons. Another unique efficiency approach Heroes' cycle is taking this season is a day limit. The author whose turn it is has a certain amount of days to notify they're making a comic in. Authors that don't come up with a comic in a random period of time (prolly a week or so, we're pretty lenient) will be skipped and will get a strike, signified by an asterisk before their name on the author list. Three strikes, you're out. Obviously. Each author will be listed with their nickname and their character's alter ego's name following in parentheses, then their character's power following that. Here are the cycles: Cycle 1 Kortu (Spaz) has control over various psychic powers (telekinesis, telepathy, and power copying [powers copied: BD's and Aoran's]). Dlakii (Mudkip Man) has super strength and any ability used by Mudkip, Marshtomp, or Swampert (and the power to pull Mudkips out of his pockets.) Zildjian (Sputnik) can orbit around things and change into inanimate objects. Nid (Naked Nid) wields The Powers of Soul and The Funk (which lets him command groovetastic energy waves) Cycle 2 Zonis (Prodigy) has the powers of telekinesis, psychics, and logic Dokuma (The Spork) has the power of fusion. Rorschach (Rorschach) has no known powers. Nuparurocks (Fission) can control atomics and radioactivity and the like. Xaeraz (Remix'd) randomly scrambles foes. Former Authors/Current Characters Dragon (Black Cape) transports through space and time while in his 'super pose'. Fighty (Guitarman) controls sonics and rainbows. Exxon (Sonic Boom) causes whatever is said by him to be taken literally and happen. Dimensio-Agents FLuGLeHieMeR is a longtime companion to the heroes and a good friend to several of them. Commander FoX is the leader of the Dimensio-Agents Ruebix Torque is a Ruebix, the secret police of the Dimensio-Agents. Ruebix Bug is a former hero and now a Ruebix, researching the heroes. Alucard Dangerfist and Xander "Astley" Dunlopshed III are two Dimensio-Agents that travel all over the place. Constantly. Parallel Kabookie and Parallel Zonis are from a different dimension in Found. They were recently hired by the DAs. Schwinn Testley is the secretary at the DA HQ. She and Dangerfist both have huge crushes on eachother. CHaRLie FReNKLe is an elderly and often forgetful Dimensio-Agent. More Heroes Xanis has no powers ever since his power of duplication manifested itself as the evil Mr. Wuggums. Desertdan (The Speeding Torch) has the powers of superspeed and fire. He is a member of the Rebellionxorse. Aoran (French Fry/Mr. Earth) has the power of plant control. He is a member of the Rebellionxorse. More Villains Exo is the main villain of 'Heroes'. He's the mastermind behind his many evil operatives and his Exolite army. The Exolites are an army of innocent people who are forced to obey Exo when an Exolite mask was put on them. Black Outline Dok is a mysterious new villain working for Exo. He has various powers associated with his black outline. Cthulu has the power of squid arms. Mr. Wuggums is Xanis's evil clone, with the power of duplication. DarkVahki (Cryonous) has the power of cryokinesis. Other Charaters Mudkips are controlled by Dlakii/Mudkip Man. Plot Device is an innocent fellow, but nobody knows what's wrong with him. Kortu and the other authors advocate the use of the BZPower Comics Wiki. Several of them take turns keeping the article for this series up to date. If you get confused at any time, please use this wiki to introduce yourself to the many colorful characters of Heroes. They need to find eachother and band together to save the dimension. Along with them is their clumsy guardian angel of sorts, FLuGLeHieMeR, who watches them from the shadows, but as clumsy as he is, he has a chance of being caught. This season really got off to a bad start and died out. It was closed abruptly and returned into its next season a year later with many unexplained plot holes. Well, hopefully those will all get sorted out. (Small update: they did  )Authors Unlike Season 1, although there are still 2 author cycles, there aren't teams of good and evil anymore. Everyone is good. Well, I guess they could turn evil if they wanted to. There are 2 author cycles to help the authoring go faster. Here are the cycles: Cycle 1 Kortu Bionicle Dragon Dokuma Metrukuta (2 strikes 0_0) Wyattu Desertdan2 Spitty Cycle 2 Kabookie Norik's Prophecy Xanis Ocrist Aoran Kuurahl Exxon Traveling Parties As not many of the characters are aware of eachother's presence yet, as they venture on and meet others, they'll form traveling parties to go along with in the comics. This attempt at a cycle was the major reason for the second season's downfall. I'll just show off the character's profiles down here... Desertdan, Kortu, Norik, Wyattu, Xanis, Metrukuta, Spitty, Aoran, Exxon, Kuurahl, Kabookie Ocrist, Bionicle Dragon, Dokuma, Kabookie, Nanderhieser, Commander FoX, and FLuGLeHieMeR Comics Comic 1: Kortu- The cold open Comic 2: BD- 'You caused me mental stress.' Comic 3: Dok- Zalen meets Koror and Vilmann. Or something like that. Comic 4: Kabs- Nanderhieser attacks! Comic 5: NP- The Grim Lies Ahead Comic 6: Xanis- Xanis, Wuggums; what's the difference? Comic 7: Wyattu- I thought I loved my job... Comic 8: Desertdan- 'I'm working on it!' ------------------------------------------------------ Season 1 In the first season, the 2 author cycles were divided into cycles for a team of Heroes and a team of Villians. In the end, they untimately crossed over for one final battle, in which it was revealed that what they were doing was all really a test of their worthiness. Some failed. Some succeeded. Then, their memories were wiped and they were sent back to their original dimension. which is where they are in Season 2. Woohoo. Yeah. Yes, Dark Vahki. We're accepting as many authors as anyone wants. Although we space out entry times. All the members I know in real life knew about this and all have theirsprites ready for the next entry period...
Thanks, Dreiken. It's good to have you on the team. I had a ton of other people as backup members incase other people didn't want to join. I only had to use 3 of them (Kai, Ocrist, and Aoran). And thanks to everyone who was kind enough to notify me of their denial, yet offer help. I'll be happy to accept you guys who said that any time you want to. The lineup was made randomly, by the way.  So you brought the Critics here? Though the story that you had about them in the character sheet works. I agree w/ Kai, The Spork is so, well, Dokuma. Speakin about Dokky, he hasn't posted yet, come to think of it neither has MK, is someone gonna notify 'em, or should we just wait to see if they catch on?  Too bad Spitty ain't in it, yet. So you have my sprites? cause I ain't finished and they aint on B-Shelf yet, but their alost done, I'm just finishin up on the 360s. Can't wait for Team 2, whenever that'll be. Great comic. I love how ironic that was. Except I'm "Spaz", not "The Spaz". And it would be "Kortu's place".
I'm too critical of you guys. Nice burning effects on the critic, though. Dreiken's up next, and he's really active here, so I guess we'll get a new comic soon! Then it's Dooky. I'll PM him to notify him that it's up. We've got one villian place almost filled. Tomdroidser just needs to send me his 360 spritesheet and post here and he's an author.
