The Dreaded Walking Blossom of Death, commonly mistaken for a flower, is actually a Rahi.  The DWBD lures its prey by performing a dance with it's tendrils and colorful stamen.
The victim is lured in by this mesmerizing dance and is hypnotized immediately.  This allows the DWBD to walk over its victim and pounce.  Unfortunately, digesting the prey can sometimes take up to three months.  Also, they are considered a delicacy to the Matorans and are only eaten on special occasions.  The meat is firm and surprisingly enough, tastes like Goko-Kahu.

Cool!  Kind of reminds me of those "stink flowers" which are red and yellow.  They smell of rotting meat and attract flies in.  evilgrin:

most impressive in it's simplicity.. I am very fond of original ideas. Actually.. I think there is a Carnivorous plant in the LExicon, maybe that could be it!!

Dang THRAX! I've never seen you do Rahi, but you do it well! Though it must be a pain to keep all those Bohrok eyes facing inward.

Thanks CB but I was just trying to crank something out that wouldn't hurt my mentals too much.  I'm teaching this year and I don't have alot of time to spend on MOCs these days.  :sigh:

I think that I'll take a break from mecha for a while and do some dino-looking things...hmmmm....

:mirunu:  :mirunu: What I wanna' know is, how exactly did Boba Fett escape that anyways? (Silly fanboy storylines... lol)
It's abstract... I don't know how else to put it. It looks cool, like something from a fuzzy felt blacklight poster or an eyeball bender. It's cool, it's just too different for my little brain to critique right. But that's more my problem than yours lol.

I wanted to try something that was more organic and simpler than the ususal mecha-million-MOC.  More curves.  yeah.
