Gotta love the anger sphere. also, "This next test is impossible. Make no attempts to finish it." And I heard the WCC came about because that level originally used a normal cube, but people were constantly forgetting to bring it with them to the next section of the level. They then found out about this study done by the army, or something like that, and added in all the dialogue, and the testers immediately started to feel attached to the box. People have said it took more emotional effort to incenerate the cube then it did to kill a Little Sister in Bioshock. also, this is pretty funny: QUOTE Wolpaw further describes the idea of using cake as the reward came about as "at the beginning of the Portal development process, we sat down as a group to decide what philosopher or school of philosophy our game would be based on. That was followed by about 15 minutes of silence and then someone mentioned that a lot of people like cake."

Portal. One of the single most awesome games ever. The humour was genuine and pure gold, the characters were actually deeper than most average movies as of the twenty-first millennium, even if it did only consist of a silent character called Chell, an insane AI whom is also a disk operating system and a likewise silent cube that just seems to cuddle your way into your heart. The game ends epically with the single-most best ending song to ever exist, and I've in fact got it stored on my iPod in it's remixed, piano, saxophone and original format.

If at first you don't succeed, you fail, and the test will be terminated. XD We don't recognize that quote. Is that from Portal? Where does GLaDOS say that? (I'm assuming it's her since she's the only one who talks.) I do, can't remember when she says it though. -------------------- Signature Guidelines: Avatar and signature total file size may not exceed 100 KB!

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Isn't Cave Johnson that guy who got a mercury poisoning, got insane and wrote the 3 piers on his deathbed? You know: 1) Counter-Heimlich-maneuver. (fail) 2) Take-a-wish-foundation. (fail) 3) The interdimensional rift machine which in some way could be put to a use in shower curtains. (Projekt PORTAL) But still, I hope that GLaDOS will be back. And in a somewhat human android form, to help the 'subject-name-here' better in a new place! Or: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « -------------------- |
