The Bionicle Game has been Calcelled???, NNoooooooooooooooo"!!! Options

With Bionicle being a highly demanded toy you would think they'd fix it--  Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and Bionicle are what CNN said to the top runners of toy sales this coming holiday season...  something must be diffently wrong with LEGO ???    Maybe LEGO decided to start making Lord of the Rings toys now?! that would be neat (IT'S NOT TRUE AND PLEASE DON'T START A RUMOR FROM IT PEOPLE) -- i'm just thinking out loud I guess  darn LEGOMedia  ...

Ya standard this standard that - if it didn't live up to the standards they would have scrapped it some time ago- LEGO isn't known for there excellent games to begin with... so why break the record? -- prehaps the game was GREAT but seeing how LEGO Bricks games for the most part suck it did live "up" to their low standards -- Too bad the game looked GREAT  "Looked" I don't know how well it played or didn't)--  LEGO (or anyone) can give you a line all we get to do is believe it or not - there isn't anyway we as consumers will know the full story--

Ya they should to do something for Halloween-- like sell a bulk pack of all masks in Orange and Black or something... in which include  Not like there is any box art or work needed (the item being a bulk pack and all) and if they get the brains together fast enough they could have it listed real soon:D    But then that's just my idea not like LEGO Bricks listening to me anyway ?

I dont think anybody said it. I believe that some folks just assumed that it was related to the tragedy somehow.

Now, on Bionicle.com, in the "The Buzz" section, under "Software" in the Nav Bar, it dosn't have the PC game anymore. This is the first sign on Bionicle.com that the game has ben canceled. Sighhh.....  :(  :(

I doubt they had any beta testers ... especially if it is as "buggy" as this is suppostly -- and anyway they closed the requests for being one some time ago meaning they had to have had at least enough to get a feel for the game (1 level, 1 area...etc)  LOL maybe there wasn't even a game at all ???  anyway i'm going to go create my own playstation game RPG of Bionicle - So LEGO can KMB

Yeah, that was the old story lego gave. The game was due out Nov. 30. The frech portion of the Lego company probably did not receive word of the canelation.

Dear LEGO® Builder,

Thank you for your inquiry regarding the LEGO Bionicle (PC) game.

Unfortunately after a great deal of consideration it has been decided
not to release this version of the game onto the market.

It is imperative to LEGO Software that all products live up to the LEGO
Brand name, and that the Bionicle title live up to the high
expectations that the LEGO Bionicle theme has generated. Unfortunately
this product does not meet our standards and the difficult decision to
discontinue the product had to be made.

As far as the Vahi mask...we're working on it.
Since the decision to cancel the PC game has just recently been made, we
are currently reviewing options for the Vahi mask.  Further information
will be provided as soon as it becomes available.

We are happy to announce however, that LEGO Bionicle is available on the
Advanced Game Boy and so far the response has been extremely positive.
We are looking forward as well to continuing the LEGO Bionicle theme
with more releases next year and beyond.

Well, I guess that finally puts an end to the Bionicle PC game.  I could go though a huge discusion about why they're not going to fix it, but I feel it's time to just let it go.

Ok, how on earth can something in a bioncile game resemble Sept. 11?! What, does Makuta hire terrorists to fly kahu birds into the nonexistant tall biuldings on Mata-Nui? There is no way somethign can resemble it! There are no tall buildings on Mata-Nui, and the game has nothing to do with terrorism!

Those jackels I'll put a fist right through their foreheads... and with this MKII PowerArmor on they won't feel a dang thing -- Didn't live up to LEGO Bricks standards HA -- all the LEGO games i've played so far didn't seem to have any standards -- I was only purchasing this one due it's Bionicle title--

Now, now BF.  Nails in the body are a very sensitive topic to me.

They should include the Vahi in the GBA game.  That would solve many a problem.  (sorry if you said that before.)

My brother had a game he pre-ordered get cancelled like 4 days before it's release date (sometime last year) so don't tell me they don't cancel games close to their release dates

People, I never thought the game was canceled and this just reasures me even more. The due date on that letter is the end of November, and the game was supposed to come out IN November. Probably LEGO is just going to make everyone really disapointed, then release it a bit late so the excitement is even greater than before.  :angry:  :angry:  :angry:

I just have to say that if they will be canceling the game they WILL notice, WILL release a game in the future. I can't prove this, because If I were LEGO, I would do that. And it could be a practical joke or something, because I have gotten some practical jokes that were simalir to this before. Maybe even they're just saying it's canceled to get us jumpy and then realease it to get us REALLY REALLY EXICTED! You never know what companays might do, especially LEGO.

This is just Grade-A Maha-plop. Now really, if it was so seriously bugged, they could scrap it, and create a new one.
And how would the scenes be offensive? Nui-Rama flying and destroying huts? Lego really doesn't have high-standards if they release tons of horrible games a year. If they give Vahi's out through the GC game, I'd be ######, since I don't get the Nintendo game terminals like that. What's the point? In 2 years it'll be "old" and a new  terminal will come out..

I hate to admit it but I think the game is cancelled, but the words "this version" may mean that they have just delayed it for a year... or two.
