Well thought out plan. Except the whole army of everything living. I mean they couldn't get everything to take their side, the toa would control some and everything would be in a war. Also tht means things like air would be alive, and I doubt they would enjoy getting inhaled. And even if you did inhale it, it would probably kill you from the inside. But if the makuta were to somehow stop the Ignika's countdown without releasing life everyhere, that woud be a good pan.

The illusion you speak of would have to be able to changed, so if the Makuta wanted some Matoran tortured, they would adjust the illusion and have it done. That would be what Teridax is working on right now.

Why would they need to adjust the illusion in order for the Makuta to torture the Matoran? Teridax could just cast Mata Nui into a vision where it seems everything is fine and have the rest of the Makuta doing the torturing.

QUOTE(Youngsword Oric @ Jul 4 2008, 02:08 AM) *
Sheer genius. I want to believe it, I really do, but Greg wouldn't something that complicated for our younger audience. Put that in simple terms for me, and I'll belive you. By the way, how long did it take you to think of that?

In simplest terms:

Teridax put Mata Nui into vision.

That's all. tongue.gif Oh, and it took sometime, having to chain together events and such...

Sounds very plausible.But,just 2 things.

1: How does it 'rock the Toa's universe'?
2: Where is the Shock Ending that makes 2007's ending look mild?

Overlooking that,I say this is just about 100% accurate.A few holes, but my money goes all in on this theory.

Well, I believe this is what lego was planning as the shocking ending!!!

The Makuta's plan is simple: turn the matoran to evil toa of shadow, and have them unleash a fear-poison and drive metru nui into fear, because the makuta want order, but feel many have to die to perfect the world. That is what makuta menant by: I'm protecting mata-nui". Then, the makuta will let the new Shadow-toa protect the new matoran population mutran has made with his shadow leeches!!! So unexpected, it sounds very fimilar!!!

Oh yeah, Makutsa Teridax was turaga dume because he thought he was holding the city for ransom with the fear gas toxin he made.

That would be an awsome ending!~!!

Yo Bioran, I am afraid the Ignika will not play a key roll in the plan, and it probably won't be destroyed.
Here's the quote.

Dear Greg,
I have a few questions hopefully you can answer.

3. How important is the Ignika to the plan.
6. Would the Makuta destroy the Ignika.

~Zexion

3) To Makuta's plan? Not enormously
6) No, not if they could avoid it.

3. That means the Ignika won't play a huge part in the Broterhood's Plan.
6. Meaning it probably won't get destroyed.

~Zexion

Well, sorry I disproved a part of your theory, but that opens the possiblilty for other things as well.

This makes since...but then why did Teridax want the Avohkii, Vahi, and the Nui stone?

Teridax wanted the Avohkii, to prevent the coming of a Toa of Light. He wanted the Nui Stone, so if a Toa ever joined the BoM, the Toa could be extremely powerful, and be under Teridax's command.

And here a quote from BS01, of why Teridax wanted the Vahi. smile.gif

QUOTE
The Makuta was plotting to place all the Matoran in Matoran Pods. Normally, their memories and strength would be removed slowly over the course of a few years, but Teridax planned to use the Vahi to speed up the process. Once the Matoran would awaken, he would claim himself their rescuer and ruler.

That is quite an interesting revelation. I think the disproving of the Ignika part could open up several other possibilities as well.

Well Bioran, the Illusion and Pollution part of your theory has been officially disproven. Now as for Mata Nui's character flaw it apprently played its part in the Plan already.
Here's the Quote.

Hey Greg,
I have some qusetions.

5.) When awakened could Mata Nui be casted into an illusion by Teridax.

~Zexion

5) No

Some new ones.
2.) Could the Makuta in Karda Nui pollute the energy source sent to Mata Nui.

3.)Will Mata Nui's Character Flaw and Nightmares have anything to do with the plan.

4.) Could Teridax at anytime place Mata Nui into an illusion.

~Zexion

2) No

3) It already did, Zex -- if he had paid attention to what was going on in his universe, the Makuta could never have attacked him

4) No

Now since the spoiler ban has been lifted, you should add your thoughts on the Coderex and Energy Storms. Remember, Teridax currently knows the location of Mata Nui, so maybe that knowledge is a part of the plan too.

What if a powerful Brotherhood member were to get his (or her) hands on the Ignika? With it they could simply think dead all the innocent beings in the Universe.

Now that's bad.

You may want to add in your theory that Mata Nui cannot be corrupted. Ask Greg.

I like the idea- but how do you know that putting shadow in the universe core would put Mata Nui into an illusion? How so?

BUT WAIT! I'VE HAD AN IDEA! You guys know about the Mata Nui is the universe theory, right? Well, if Metru Nui truly is his brain, and Karda Nui provides energy for Metru Nui, would shadow energy cloud his brain and make his illusion? Try adding that.
