Code Lyoko Rpg: V F, Approved by Toaraga Options

[Robo]

IC: Rob heard a pop pop pop sound up ahead. When he turned a corner he saw Annet, the girl he had given the Plant-B-Gone, using a nailgun on the plants. He ran up and chopped a plant that was going for her legs with his shovel.

"Okay, I'm back," he said, "What'd I miss?" he asked in a more joking tone.

OOC: I'm sorry, Ori, but for Aria's power/talent, you said "Lie Detection" not "MacGyver".

Really, being able to make a flamethrower out of semi-random materials is something that requires being your power/talent. EDIT: Thank you.

IC: "Thanks," Ray said as he took off past Duncan. There were five new monsters, all the same. They looked like tall humanoids, armored and muscular.

"Is XANA making his own XANAtars now?" Ray asked as he lighted down next to Drake.

"I don't know."

"Andy, is-"

"I heard you the first time." Andy said. "Gimme a minute." There was a pause. "That's strange. It looks like we've got a whole file here, one that Jeremie made. It's got all our new beasties in it. I wonder if he's got any more stuff in here that I don't know about."

"Now's not the time for searching for random and useless bits of information, Andy," Ray shouted as he and the rest of the Lyoko Warriors started backing into a circle, as the five new monsters started surrounding them. "Just get us what we need to know, and get it to us fast!"

IC: "Well, to start off," said Duncan, as he landed next to Ray, "They don't have any evident eyes of Xanas on them."

He casually tossed a card at one of the motionless monsters, and instead of slicing into its skin, it just bounced off with a tinging noise and fell onto the ground.

"Hard shells too. I'm guessing they have some sort of super attack that also makes them vulnerable at the same time..." Duncan mused out loud.

The others looked at him strangely, "Well that's how it always works in video games! There's some sort of invincible enemy that's only vulnerable while attack- uh oh" The monsters had sprung forward and were now racing towards the assembled group.

IC: Ray brought his sword up in time to stop the claw of the monster from slicing him down the middle. The creature's raw strength was unbelievable. Slowly, inch by inch, Ray was forced down by the monster's pressure on his sword. It looked like he was done for. The others had scattered when the monsters had come for them. Ray would've too, had he had enough time before the monster tried to kill him.

He saw Drake, running in a circle around one, firing laser blasts that harmlessly pinged off the creature's armor. James was leaping up into the air, bringing down his axe on the monster's upraised arm, sparks flying at every contact. Tobias was using his sword in a light and defensive manner, nimbly blocking every strike. Rose had a star shield up that was beginning to crack after numerous blows. Duncan was barely dodging the attacks from his creature.

Ray's eyes started glowing brightly from inside his hood. With a new found surge of strength, he pushed the monster back and stood up, raising his sword into a ready position. The monster stood there for a moment, considering him. Then with a loud roar, it charged straight for him.

Ray jumped into the air, flipping forward, aided by his wings, and brought his sword against the back of the creature's armor, leaving a small nick in it. He landed on both feet and whirled around. Grasping his sword in both hands, he raised it to his shoulder, as the monster roared again, and started for him once more...

IC: Duncan did another cartwheel to dodge one of the monster's claws. We're getting nowhere!" He thought to himself. This time, when a claw came at him, he nimbly jumped onto it, then scrambled onto the creature's back, hanging onto its neck for dear life as it whipped around.

Suddenly, Duncan felt shifting beneath him. Then shell covering the creature seemed to be retracting onto key points of its body. Suddenly, it started moving a lot more quickly. Struggling to hold on, Duncan tried to readjust his grip, and suddenly, Duncan felt his presence moving into the monster's body. "I must've touched its on... Maybe it was on its face?" Duncan though to himself as he stretched out his presence around the monster's mind.

No complicated controls here. Just basic bipedal movement, and something called berserker mode. Looking closer, Duncan realized this was what had happened to the monster earlier, and quickly tried to undo it so he'd have the armor back.

"Good," thought Duncan, flexing his new claws. "It's clobberin' time!"

IC: Ray waited for the beast to come close enough.

5...4...3...2...1...

An unearthly sound suddenly started emanating from his lips. The Berserker slammed into a wall of sound, and collapsed to its knees. It was all the other Lyoko Warriors could do to remain conscious. Ray was putting every last bit of effort into this scream. But the monster was getting back up now, and its armor started shifting. Its eye of XANA was now exposed, but it seemed to have gained power. With a defiant cry, it raced toward Ray, and picked him up, then threw him across the landmass. Ray hit the tower hard, then fell to the ground, where he reamined unmoving.

OOC: Ray posted first. My post was void.
IC: Gotta love that scream. At least it exposed his weakpoint.
James tried to kamakaze it, however his failed entirely and the Beserker devirtualized him.

I am getting rusty. James thought.
"Hey Andy, I am out of here!"
James ran toward the elevator. There was someplace he had to go. It took him to the top floor. He saw some old plants preparing to attack. He grabbed an old rusty piece of metal and sliced them.
"You know, rusty metal is dangerous."
He climbed his way to ground level. He ran toward the sewers and climbed down the man hole. He ran a while down the path back to Kadic.
So far so good.
As he came to the other man hole, he was ready. Above him was a forest full of plants. He burst up to see his prediction come true. The trees were cutting him with branches. He blocked some with his rusty metal, but he still had a bit of cuts before making it to the school grounds.
The troubles only got worse there. The plants were amok on the school grounds. He had a considerable amount of cuts when he made it inside the domitories. He fought his way up to the girl's floor to see three people: a guy, a girl, and Aria.
OOC: All James saw was Aria

IC:

"Finally made it..." Shinn muttered as he entered the factory, dropping the now useless chainsaw off at the door. He had encountered more plants in the sewer and the tool was now devoid of all of its teeth, rendering it little more than useless baggage. Stepping into the elevator, he was about to hit the switch to go down when he suddenly doubled over in a coughing fit, lasting for several minutes before he managed to send the elevator down, the switch stained slightly red from where he had touched it.

IC: Aria's eyes got as big as dinner plates when she saw James. "James! Get over here!"

Rose wasn't quite sure what to say. If the boy somehow remembered, she couldn't lie. What difference would it make?

"Yes, we have. I'm Rose Nicole, and you are Rob, yes?"

Annet stopped suddenly, stumbling and falling into the lush grass. She pulled away in fear, then righted herself and stood up shakily.
"Annie, are you alright?"

"Yes...no...

IC: Drake and Jon sat on a bench. Karley was resting under Jon's arm, somehow still tired from the attack before. Drake sat alone, though. He didn't mind. He knew that those two belonged together, even though he could've sworn the same thing for him not too long ago.

"Hey!" Ray called, seeing us from the dorm building entrance. Drake waved for him to come join him. Jon sat up on the top of the bench, Karley between his legs. I moved over so Ray could sit down by us.

"Crazy attack yesterday, huh?"

"You mean today." Jon laughed.

"Oh...yeah. That's so hard to keep track of." Ray flushed, embarrassed at his mistake.

"It's okay. We all do it. Even after this long." Drake said, staring off into space.

"Hey, where're Jeremie and the others?" Ray asked suddenly. Jon and Drake turned to each other, exchanging a glance that only the two leaders would understand.

"I'll tell you later." Jon said solemnly. Ray looked at him, still wanting an answer.

"Fine." Ray grumbled, leaning back into the bench and crossing his arms.

IC:

Shinn gave a contented sigh as he gazed around. Thanks to the Return to the Past, everything was back to normal, at least for the moment. A frown crossed his face, however, when he looked down at his hand. "That hasn't happened for a while now..." he thought, "Is it finally catching up to me...?" Looking over, he spotted Jon, Drake, Ray, and Karley sitting on one of the benches but as much as he would have liked to, he couldn't go over and talk to them until he was off duty. Until then, he could only stand back and watch as the students passed by.

IC: One minute Duncan was standing with the others in the computer room, and suddenly he was in the showers again, the water flowing through his hair. He glanced at his watch again to see it was several hours before he just was... or something.

"Freaky, that's what they must've meant by 'retruen to the past,'" he said aloud as he turned the water off.

When he got back to his room, he noticed Ray wasn't there, but when Duncan looked out the window, he saw Ray sitting with some people he'd seen earlier.

"So Mr. Cranky," said Duncan to himself as he plopped down on his bed," does have friends..." Treefrog jumped up into his lap. "You know, Treefrog, I really need to decided whether to call him Mr. Cranky or Mr. Grumpy, and what about a first name?"

Treefrog just meowed, then started rolling around on the bed. "Yes," said Duncan, as if responding to Treefrog's 'answer,'" It is good to mix things up."

Duncan yawned, then slumped over on his bed, asleep. Treefrog went and slept on Ray's pillow.

[The Sword of the...]

Annet sat heavily on the bench. She refused to sit on the grass, and Tobias wished he didn't know why.
"What's wrong, Annie? You're not bleeding and no bruises..."
"My legs...pressure...squeezing....AAAHHH!" Annet yelped, holding her head and trying to grab her legs at the same time. "I have the worst headache..."
"I'll take you to the infirmary."
As they walked he texted Jon, Drake and Andy.

OOC: Hi I'm back! I know its been a long time but studying for my higher exams got in the way so I couldn't post. I've decided to create a new character, instead of continuing with my older character, with a bit more personallity and background.

Outfit: His white hair is in a black bandana. He wears dark blue jeans and a tan shirt. He wears tan colored trainers.

Powers/Talents (1): He’s extremely Agile

Personality: Free-Spirit, Sometime make jokes.

Description: His White hair is now slightly spiked up. He has a Turquoise waist coat, with dark blue jeans and white trainer-like shoes. For some reason he has a tan colored monkey tail. Some people suggest that he has it because most of the time he acts like a monkey.

Weapon: Twin Daggers. Each dagger has a circular base with a handle in the center. The rest of the blade can rotate around the handle. He usually stores the daggers in holster at his waist

M.O.T. (such as a vehicle or wings): Overboard

Powers (i.e. Supersprint, Telekinesis): Bullet Time: Mike (and others around him) can dodge, with great accuracy, shot or attacks but he is severely weakened afterwards

Offensive Attacks (1): Mike spins the daggers very fast and slashes his enemies with them

Defensive Ability (1): Mike spins his daggers forming shields in front of them. He can combine his twin daggers into one spear and make a larger shield with that. They can't stand up to too much punishment or the daggers themselves will be destroyed

When he says he doesn’t have any siblings, that’s not entirely true. He has a younger sister who mysteriously vanished 2 years ago. Mike has always blamed himself for what happened. He joined the Lyoko Warriors so that he could find her. With what has happened, he can be very kind and caring to others. Since he has experienced this, he can comfort others going through the same thing. If some tells him to keep a secret, he will keep a secret. On Lyoko, he only cares about the safety of others, not his own which gets him usually into more trouble.

OOC: Well, Sugar, there was a XANA attack, but then we went back in time.

OOC: What Taki means is that he's about as much as a lazy bum inside and would rather me do it.

Yes people, I know what happened and I am actually posting.

Duncan, Ray, Drake, Rose, and Tobias (forgetting anyone?) went to Lyoko, battled a couple of Bloks, Kranks and Hornets, and took them out. In the process, Duncan found out he has a unique Lyoko power; the power to possess a monster. When possessed, the monster turns into a shade of blue and stands out from the monsters so one may know he's possessing it. It was a fun read, I'll say that.

As they closed into the tower, the group encountered two new monsters. The Tortois and Berserker (go to www.freewebs.com/clrpg to get details on them) The battle against the Berserkers was a huge challenge to say the least, and the Lyoko Gang was lucky enough to defeat them once Duncan possessed one. Drake, who was reprogrammed to deactivate towers, stops the attack just as Annet was about to die from the vise grip of the plants on Earth (alive mind you), and returned to the past (with some assistance from Ray. It was an lol moment, you had to read it).

IC:

"Well, at least we got an hour," Drake said as he and Jon checked their phones. Jon showed Karley the message so she understood what he meant.

"Looks like we got a chance to tell the guys all at once. Come on, let's get some ice cream."

OOC: Addiethunder, couple problems. First is with your Bio. He hasn't joined the Lyoko Warriors yet, so you need to take that part out. Also, joining the Lyoko Warriors isn't going to help him find his sister. They're here to stop XANA, and eat gravy and meatballs. And they're all out of gravy and meatballs.

Second problem is that you're in the "new members" category. You need to go make at least one non-spam post in a forum that adds to your post count, otherwise, your posts are delayed while they are reviewed, and that's too big a hindrance to have in an RPG. (Basically, for the post to get you back into the members category, don't post in CoT, Voting Booth, Games&Trivia, New Member Q&A, or Bionicle RPG)

Once you're out of the new member group, fix up your Bio and resubmit. Thanks.

EDIT: Also, having your daggers be shields AND being able to form into a spear which you can use to better deflect stuff is too much. Either have two daggers or have a spear. One of the two.

Jen's parents were killed by a murderer and instead of going to a orphanage, she was sent to Kadic and she brought Tiger to keep her company. She has been at Kadic since she was in sixth grade and has no friends so far except Odd, but now, she has no freinds at all.

IC: "Another Way Tower! Finally!" Xan dashed towards his chance to get out of the Desert Sector. Cold. "Well.... Atleast it's better than that wasteland." Xan walked along the virtual ice flows (Is it floes or flows?) "Hm.... I have seen hide nor tail of XANA's monsters for awhile, except for that weird Kankrelot. Ah, well. Maybe I'll see something later on." He said to himself. Xan kept walking on....

IC: Duncan sat on the roof of the gym, scribbling in his notebook furiously. Whenever he got into a mood, he could sit for hours and write poetry on just about anything. Now, feeling depressed and slightly angry for some reason he couldn't figure out, he finished up a nice series of haiku on how the world would one day end in a horrible apocalypse. Shifting gears suddenly, he described how God was the worlds salvation.

Yes, he knew it was odd how he could suddenly shift personality like that. Looking up from his writings, he took a few seconds to enjoy the view across campus.

You could see quite far from the gym roof, making it a nice inspirational place for Duncan to work. Plus, nobody could find him up here and interrupt his creative stupors.

You can evidently get just about anywhere so long as you can find a handhold and do a handspring.

He turned a page in his notebook to write another couplet, and suddenly realized this was the last page.

"And I just got this two weeks ago..."

Duncan shrugged, then stood up and stretched, heading to the edge of the roof. He hooked the notebook with a small carabiner to his belt, then flipped over the side of the roof and started climbing down. All of a sudden, there was the sound of running beneath him, so he twisted around to look, when suddenly, his left hand lost its fragile grip, and he started toppling to the ground.

Luckily, he was only around fifteen feet from the ground, so the fall wouldn't have been too bad - that is if Duncan didn't land on someone below, wearing a red sweatshirt. Slightly dazed, Duncan tried to get up off of the other kid, when he felt himself being lifted up by inhumane strength, and suddenly thrown a distance away into a tree, where he slumped to the ground, his head aching where it had smacked the tree.

Now more than dazed, Duncan started rereading his poetry, oblivious to several more people running by, a few stopping next to him and trying to communicate, until he fell unconscious and slumped to the ground.

OOC: I'm pretty sure Zach is a polymorphic specter...

OOC: You would be correct.

IC: Rob and Tobias worked together to lift Duncan up; after Zach had run through Delmas's office and the whole chasing party of people did as well, the Principal let Rob off with a warning and Tobias got nothing...since it wasn't his fault anyways. They got out just in time to see Duncan hit the tree after the strange kid in the hoodie threw him. "I think he'll be okay," Tobias said.

"Still, let's get him to the nurse." Rob said. Tobias turned to look at him; he hadn't seen Rob's lips moving, "I said 'let's get him to the nurse'."

"Okay," Tobias said, "This way."

IC: Zach stopped, spun around, and put on a burst of speed, running towards Jim, Shinn, Drake, Aria, James, Rose, the teachers, Rho, and a few others who had joined in the chase. Once he was moving fast- faster than a normal person could- he jumped over the crowd of people, making a bee-line towards Rob, Duncan, and Tobias....his target being Tobias.

IC: Drake whirled around and let out a warning cry, but not before Zach clipped him with his foot, knocking him down.

"Pretty solid for a superhuman specter..." Drake grumbled, attempting to get up.

"Stay down. He hit you worse than you thought. We got him." Shinn said before running off. I pulled out my phone from my left pocket and sent a quick text to Jon.

He'd better get Andy to launch a return to the past. Too much damage for one day. Drake thought.

IC:Rho noticed Drake fighting the superhuman specter Zach.
Rho ran up and tried to attack Zach, but failed.
"GAH.." Rho grunted. "That wasn't exactly comfortable."

OOC: Once again, Rho, read earlier posts. Zach and Drake didn't fight; Zach clipped him with his foot when he jumped over the group. Zach is still running.

IC: "Uh-oh." Tobias said, letting go of Duncan and trying to make a break for it when he noticed Zach was coming right for him. Rob set Duncan down and ran as well; but not exactly the same way Tobias was.

IC: Zach was almost at Tobias- he easily outpaced the normal kid- but was tackled from the side from that other kid that was in the office with Tobias. Zach rolled with the tackle and stood back up- holding Rob by the front of his shirt. He threw him backwards at the oncoming crowd of pursuers. He turned and continued to chase Tobias, quickly regaining the few seconds lost.

IC: Ray sat for a while longer after Annet had left. He closed his eyes and leaned his head back, just sitting in the sun. Today was a goo day, he just knew it. Then, slowly, sounds of some kind of commotion drifted towards him. He opened one eye. There was a kid, in a red hoodie, being chased by several of the Lyoko Warriors. Ray opened his other eye. It seemed Tobias was being chased by this other kid....Ray sat forward, straining to make out the kid's face.

It was Zach. Ray immediately thought back to the past night. Zach wanted his Kankrelot. He thought Tobias had it. Hence he was chasing Tobias. And all the others were chasing him.

Ray got up and started, with his slightly uneven run, towards the manhole. He knew that, eventually, Zach would need to get back to Lyoko. And Ray would be there at the Factory, waiting for him.

[Robo]

IC: With a burst of speed and a jump, Zach caught up with Tobias. He lifted him up as he had with Rob and turned to face the crowd. He held up his other hand to face Tobias; electrical energy sparking along his arm and hand. "Stop." he said, and the crowd actually stopped. The hostage thing was working. "I want my Kankrelot."

"Its....its in my room." Tobias said, "In a pendrive under my pillow."

"Someone go get it," Zach said.

"I'll get it.." Rob said, running towards the boy's dormitories.

IC: Hours of honing my fighting skills finally came to an end when I was devirtualized by a megatank I couldn't see. I was fighting a turantula at the time, had just cut off one of its legs, and was about to finish it when the blast hit. As I faded back into reality, I could see the turantula nodding its head in what appeared to be a laughing motion.

Still a little out of breath, I emerged from the elevator to see Ray standing next to the doorway, looking ready to pounce on anything that came in.

"Stalking prey?" I asked him, startling him slightly.

"Yes," he told me. "Zach's back, and he just tried to attack. Care to help stop him from escaping to Lyoko?"

"Hey, I sleep through attacks so often that I'll do anything to be useful." After a minute of exploring one of the abandoned production rooms, I came out holding a rusty pole that could be used as a weapon staff. I went to stand next to the doorway (opposite Ray), and prepared for the challenge that would be my former room-mate.

IC: Duncan woke up, looking into the sky. The pain in his head had grown exponentially and when he felt it and looked at his hands, there was some blood on them. Forcing himself to hold onto consciousness, he tried to stand up, supporting himself on a tree.

Looking around, he couldn't identify where he was. A deeper part of his brain realized he must be beginning to suffer from mild amnesia.

Man, I hit that tree hard...

Duncan's vision started to blur as he began feeling sleepy. He abruptly collapsed on the ground, a moment too soon for him to see Treefrog running towards him, stopping a moment, then running towards the sound of a commotion a ways away.

OOC: I don't find it fair to call the RPG "horribly run." Rho, no one's going to give you anything to do in the RPG, you have to assert yourself into it a bit. And if your assertions are "rejected", as you put it, it's because your post doesn't fit in with the rest of what's happening in the RPG. If you want to make a good, fun post that nobody will complain about, you'll have to carefully read the posts before you, and think before you post so you're sure there are no clashes. And as long as you don't do too much to control what another character is doing, feel free to start a conversation.

If I may use my last post as an example, it was my first one in this RPG. I read the posts before mine, saw that Ray would be in the factory (waiting to intercept Zach), so I went there, interacted with him, and started preparing for the same thing he was. Look for a good opportunity, and interject yourself into things.

Edit: Or you could take A-A's suggestion.

IC: "Rose's cancer is acting up," Rob said. The two stared at him, "She has cancer in her leg, she told me." he explained, "We were walking through the forest and she collapsed, screaming in pain. I think there might be muscle damage. I used a sleep-pinch on her so she didn't have to deal with it."

IC: Rose opened her eyes. She wasn't in pain. She wasn't on earth either. She stood up. She wasn't wearing her normal cloths; she was back on Lyoko. "What?" She said aloud."

"Welcome back." Zach said to her. He was leaning against a tree not far away, grinning.

"But...how?" she said.

"You must have fallen asleep or something," Zach said, "Remember last year; whenever I fell asleep my mind came to Lyoko? Well, guess what; I did the same thing to you." he said.

"But....how...when?" she asked.

"When we kissed," he said with a rather wicked grin, "Enjoy your stay."

[Draconis Defendr...]

IC: Xan got bored wandering around the different Sectors, so he decided to head back 'home.' When he got back, he saw somebody standing in front of his tree, one with a Kankrelot on his shoulder and an oddly familiar girl. He quickly climbed up the nearest tree, and readied his bow. He let go. The arrow whistled through the air, and landed in front of the startled people. "That was a warning shot!" Xan yelled as he readied another arrow, "Now, what are your names, and your buisness in my territory?"
