Welcome once more, to the new and improved Naruto RPG, a continuation of the original Naruto RPG, as well as the Naruto RPG ver. 2. We hope you will enjoy role-playing here.

If you want to begin, you must first read this whole post completely, beginning with how this topic came to be:

Roughly a year and a half ago, a member then named Omega (now Kopaka-Angel of Ice) opened a Naruto RPG. It thrived for a few months; several members joined and formed a community in the topic. But soon troubles began to arise; flaming between members, lack of respect for the rules, etc. Eventually things escalated to the point that the RPG had to be closed.

Fortunately, we were allowed a second chance, but this time things had to be changed dramatically. So the mods of the old RPG began working exhaustively to improve the RPG. Countless PMs were sent; countless rules were debated. Finally, the work was done, and we were ready. We presented the new and revamped Naruto RPG to BZ.

Unfortunately, one of the mods, and the host of the Naruto RPG ver. 2, Lazok , took his leave from the site, and due to this, the previous incarnation of the RPG had to be closed as well.

The saying goes however, that the 3rd time's the charm, so here's hoping we get it right. With revamped rules to make the RPG more readily accessible, and a hopefully more life-filled story, the Naruto RPG V3 is ready to go. But the question stands, as always: Are you?

SETTING

Twenty-one years have passed since the fall of Orochimaru and the destruction of the sinister organization of Akatsuki. Since then, the shinobi villages have finally found relative peace between themselves. Under the rule of its cunning Hokage, Rodaime Uzumaki-sama, Konohagakure has thrived. The death rate has dropped miraculously low, and the population of the village hidden in the leaves has risen steadily higher. Peace treaties have been established, and the economy could not be better. There are no more threats to Konoha…or so it would seem.

Since the murder of Orochimaru by the hands of the now legendary Uchiha Sasuke, otherwise known as “the Cold-Blooded Hawk”, Otogakure has crumbled. Most of the former sound shinobi had no real allegiance to Orochimaru, and upon learning of his defeat, dispersed throughout the continent. Some clans settled down somewhere and began jobs, leaving behind their lives as shinobi; others moved into surrounding shinobi villages, struggling to make themselves be trusted in their new village; still others wandered the land without an allegiance, hiring themselves up as assassins or ronin. A small number, a very small number, tried to restart the village of Sound, but without enough resources, collapsed.

Another evil, however, has risen to take its place. A new village, the village hidden in Shadows has somehow established itself in these 21 years, becoming a stable power in its own right. But what other purpose is the shadow village striving to fulfill? Why does Kagegakure seem to know every secret about Konoha? How? Why, for that matter, does it know the deepest secrets about other shinobi villages as well? Do they have spies everywhere? And what is this mysterious Project Revolution that the shinobi of shadows are planning?

In the past month, the remnants of the old days have begun to resurface. Tensions have grown between the villages; why, no one knows. But Kusagakure has recently declared war on Iwagakure, for no obvious reason, and the decades-old peace that has graced Kirigakure is beginning to fade as the rumblings of war begin. Worse yet, Amegakure has stopped accepting missions, and there has been no word from the shinobi there. For some mysterious and unknown reason, all rain shinobi have utterly vanished. Plus, a few weeks ago, a team of Anbu reported seeing a pair of shinobi dressed like Akatsuki within the Country of Fire itself.

It seems to everyone that these past 21 years were not meant to last; that they were only the calm before the storm, only a brief reprieve before another earthquake struck. War is brewing on the horizon, and no one can stop it.

Due to recent casualties, new teams were forced to be formed, and it seems that even the most recent Chuunin exam may have to be canceled.

You must be prepared for the upcoming war. You must be prepared to face the Village hidden in Shadows. You must withstand their deadly Project Revolution. You must keep sane as the world you grew up in collapses. You must stand and watch as allegiances change, great shinobi fall, and beasts ravage the land. You must fight, as a shinobi of Konoha, as a Leaf ninja.

RULES
Before you begin creating your character, you have to understand the rules that are the backbone of this RPG. Only then will you be fully prepared to take on this wonderful world.

1) All BZP rules apply.

2) When Role-Playing, always start with with an IC: before your actions. IC: means "In Character". If you wish to talk out-of-character with somebody else or the whole group, simply type in OOC: and enter your message. OOC: Means "Out Of Character". Here’s an example of an ideal post:

IC: Character A dodged the flurry of shuriken from Character B, pulling out a kunai and running at Character B. Character B pulled out a kunai as well, and with a clash of metal blocked Character A’s kunai. Character A leapt back and did quick hand seals. Katon: Karyuu Endan! Great Fireball Jutsu! The fireball flew at Character B…

OOC: Character B, you can choose whether the fireball hits him or not.

3) Please keep talk not related to the RPG to a minimum.While discussion between members is encouraged, entire conversations about the price of tea in china is not.

4) Your character must be custom, ie. you created it yourself. You cannot use a character from the official storyline, like Sasuke or Tsunade.

5) No flaming another member, ie. being rude to someone else or outright insulting them. This will result in an automatic warning. Be polite here in the RPG or else. You must also show sportsmanship; whining or excessive arguing will be seen as poor sportsmanship and will result in a warning.

6) NO PROFANITY OR SUGGESTIVE CONTENT WHATSOEVER in your posts. This will be considered the most extreme form of immaturity, and you will receive TWO warnings at a time. Consider the "grandmother" rule. If you wouldn't let your grandmother see your post, then don't post it.

7) Absolutely no controlling another member’s character in any way or form UNLESS they have given you permission in the topic. If you control another character, and you are asked to stop, but choose not to listen, you will be issued a warning. Only mods will be allowed to role-play as another character, and even then only for missions. NOTE: This includes your team’s sensei, once you get one. You will not be allowed to control what your sensei does; it is a job for the mods.

8) No grudges or rivalries outside of in-game. Rivalries in between characters should not carry over into a rivalry between members. Remember, the in-game world and the outside world are two different things. A member’s in-game opinion of your character is not the same as an opinion of you yourself. If you have a problem with a member, keep it private, via PM.

9) No KILLING a character of another member. If you do so, you will receive TWO warnings. You can kill your own characters (with the permission of the mods), but you will not be allowed to make a new one to replace your old character. Any new characters you make will have to start off as an Academy student.

10) No god-modding, ie. giving your character abilities they do not have, making them absurdly more powerful than another character, defeating an opponent in only one or a few posts, or generally just being unrealistic. If you do something that is not humanly possible even for ninja, then it is godmodding. This also includes no omniscience; just because you know something is going on somewhere else doesn't mean your character does.

11) No killing large numbers of enemies at one time, especially if they rank higher than you. This is considered god-modding as well, and will possibly result in a warning, depending on the amount of people "killed.".

12) Please keep your posts descriptive. No posts like “He woke up in the morning, trained for the entire day, then went to bed.” Or “They walked through the Forest of Death in the five days, got two scrolls, then went to the tower.” This will be considered spam, and will result in a warning if the player does not stop after being... well... warned. We will make NO EXCEPTIONS on this one.

13) ABSOLUTELY NO DOUBLE-POSTING. (Or triple-posting, etc.) If you accidentally have double-posted, then edit the second post ASAP and say that you made a mistake. If you don’t, then we will assume you double-posted on purpose and you will receive a warning.

14) Please attempt to follow the time-system. You MUST go with the rest of the RPG here. No posting about how it’s night when everyone else is still in the afternoon. Time-skips will not be allowed either (storyline time-skips are an exception, and can only be carried out by mods).

15) If you have an idea for the RPG storyline, please run it by the mods, and get permission before playing it out. In this way, we can be sure that the main story, and your character's story won't clash.

16) You cannot advance the rank of any of your characters. You must wait for a Moderator to do so. This is especially at the beginning: you CANNOT decide to graduate from the Academy and become a Genin.

17) If you wish to be a nin from another country, or defect, you must run it by a moderator ahead of time.

PUNISHMENTS

Yes, there will be consequences if you break rules. We will be enforcing these extremely strictly this time, so don’t expect to break a rule and get away with it.

Here’s how it works:
You will have three warnings. Basically a three-strike rule. Each time you break a rule a star will appear next to your name on the member list. Once it gets to three stars, you will be punished.

1) The first time you break a rule, you will receive a warning via PM by a Moderator. The Moderator in question will put an OOC in one of his posts in the RPG indicating that he or she sent the PM, for future reference. YOU ARE NOT TO BE RUDE TO THE MODERATOR IN THE PM. If you believe you did not break the rule, please respond politely. Being rude or disrespectful in your PM will result in your receiving:

The second warning.
2) If you break a rule a second time (it doesn't necessarily have to be the same rule) or you ignore the first warning, you will get a second warning. This time, the warning will be in the RPG itself; a Moderator will publicly ask you to stop. If you ignore him or her, or break a third rule:

3) You will be punished. There are different punishments that you might get depending on the intensity of the situation, in the order that you will get them:

a) Suspension-- You will not be allowed to RP for a set amount of time, to be determined by a Moderator. It can range from one day to two whole weeks. During the suspension period, you are not allowed to IC or OOC AT ALL in the topic. Once the suspension period is over, you will be allowed to return to RPing.

b ) Character ban-- You will not be allowed to RP as your character again. EVER. This means that you will either have to create a new character and start from scratch, OR, if you have more than one character, you will have to use those ones. I hope that no Moderator will ever have to resort to this, because not only does it affect you, it affects your teammates as well, and you will be letting down and disappointing them. Don't let that happen.

c) Member ban-- I really, really hope that this does not happen to you. If at least two of your characters have been banned, and you break another rule, you will be banned from this RPG. Period. You will not be allowed to come back in, or even post in this topic. You do not have to have all of your characters banned to be banned yourself, only two. Once two of your characters have been banned, all it takes is breaking one rule to be kicked out.

Keep in mind that these three strikes are the only ones you get. If you’ve used up all three warnings, and get punished, you WILL NOT get three more strikes, ie. the three stars next to your username will remain there. That means your record will be permanent. You use up your three strikes, you use them up FOREVER.

This may seem harsh, but these are the consequences if you do not follow the rules. I think these rules are pretty lenient compared to the rules I've seen in other RPGs, but even so I do not wish to see a member being punished for breaking a rule. Don't think this means we won't punish you; we will. So don't break the rules in the first place. Capiche?

Now, for the part you’ve all been waiting for. If you've stuck with it so far, thumbs up to you. I know it's pretty long, but it turns out to be with it when you have a quality RPG in the end.

CHARACTER PROFILE

In order to create a character, you must follow the format below.

Name: To make things conform better, names HAVE to be in this order; clan name first, given name last

Age: This is required; try to make the age believable, there won't be a huge amount of Kakashi/Itachi styled students accepted.

Rank: Your rank is REQUIRED to be an Academy student; anything else, and your profile will not be accepted. For example, "new guy" is not a rank. NOTE: If you are a returning member, we will allow exceptions, AS LONG AS you say that you are one.

Personality: Please make the personality as detailed as possible. This can (but does not have to) include likes, dislikes, hobbies, goals, and so on and so forth.

Appearance: As with personality, please make it detailed, so there will be no confusion concerning your character's appearance. You may include a picture along with the description, but that doesn't mean you don't have to write one. You still have to. Good examples to include are skin color, skin texture, hair color, hairstyle, eye color, how tall they are, any accessories they wear, etc. As for clothing: do they wear T-shirts? What kinds? A fishnet shirt for example? Are they long-sleeved or short-sleeved? Do they wear gloves? Watches? Do they wear a jacket over their shirt? What color are their clothes? Do they wear short pants or long pants? Which leg do they keep their kunai on? Do they wear a belt? Do they wear standard shinobi sandals, or a different kind? Just examples to keep in mind.

Fighting style/skills: This is where you write about how your character fights: does he/she specialize in taijutsu, or genjutsu, or have no specialty at all? Which chakra type do they use (maximum 2)? Fire type-jutsu, earth type-jutsu, etc.? Are they a short-range, mid-range, or long-range fighter? How does their body physically affect their fighting style? Does your character have a disability that prevents them from using a certain type of jutsu? Is there a jutsu they prefer to start out with in battle? What are their weaknesses? (this is mandatory; there have to be at least 2; your character cannot be invincible. Also note that the weaknesses cannot be conditional, or exist only in certain conditions. Elemental affinity weaknesses, for example, are not allowed) Also, we would like you to put non-fighting skills, if any, in here. For example, is (s)he especially well-suited to reconnaissance? Tracking? Are these the result of clan training, or something else?

Weapons: OPTIONAL--this is basically a follow-up of the above description. Does your character use any special weapons (other than standard kunai, shuriken, bomb tags, smoke bombs, etc.)? If so, the weapon should be integral to the character’s fighting style, though it doesn't have to be. Also, please be realistic; if your character is 11 or 12, and have a sword, it is unlikely that they would be an expert with it. Mastering weapons takes many many years, even for ninja. ALSO, please note that these weapons that you list are the only ones you will get in the beginning.

List of jutsu: All characters know the E-rank/Supplementary rank jutsu taught in the academy off the bat. This leaves you, the player, to give your character 4 D-C ranked jutsu of your choice. Please keep in mind that B-ranked jutsu and up will not be allowed for a beginning character.


Clan: This is your character’s clan. If you use a canon clan, ie. one in the manga, then you do not need to put anything other than the name. If you decide to create a clan of your own, however, you MUST put detailed description of the clan to be accepted. Some things to put in here would be: a brief history of the clan, how big it is (is it a dying clan? Or is it thriving?), if they specialize in a certain fighting style (for example, the Hyuuga clan specializes in juuken, whereas the Inuzuka clan specializes in team fighting with dog companions). If your clan has a Kekkei Genkai, please put a very detailed description of what it does. No god-moddy Kekkei Genkai abilities, please. We will be very strict in approving Kekkei Genkai; unless you’ve provided an excellent description, it will not be accepted. Also, know that your character cannot be part of an endangered/extinct clan (see rule 1 below). There are also rules regarding being an Uchiha (under SHARINGAN) and Hyuuga (Under BYAKUGAN) both posted further below. Please read them if you intend to join one of these two clans.

You MUST PM your profile to us; if you post your profile here it will be ignored, and we will ask a Moderator to delete that post. Please PM your profiles to us.

PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THE FOLLOWING RULES WHEN CREATING A CHARACTER.

1)No tailed-beasts or demons sealed within your character. That will be considered a case of god-modding.
2)Your character cannot be part of an extinct bloodline: Haku’s clan, the Kaguya clan, etc. No exceptions. Your character can also not be part of any bloodline that has been tampered with genetically (ie. Yamato’s clan) or any bloodline that has a jinchuuriki ancestor in it (ie. Gaara’s clan). (This rule may be allowed leeway, if the player can provide a feasible explaination for why the have one of the aforementioned bloodlines.)
3)Your character MUST start out at the Ninja Academy. We will not tolerate any Jounin ninja, and although we’ve put a reminder in the profile itself as well, if you try and make your character something other than an Academy student, it will definitely not be approved.


BAN LIST
This is a list of all members who are not allowed to participate in this RPG, because of the trouble they caused in the original one. Members will also be put on the ban list if they have broken the rules too many times (see Punishments section). Anyone in this list will not be allowed to role-play or post in this topic.

(Approved and Suspended Members will be added to the Wiki, to save space.)

TIME SYSTEM

In the previous RPG, one of the newer rules was the inclusion of a timestamp in every post. While this did help keep people on track, it did become somewhat tedious when it was forgotten. Thus, the new system is as follows.

Time will be declared in tri-hourly increments by a Moderator. Time thus passes when a Moderator feels that a three hour period has passed, unless stated otherwise. Specific times will be used in the case of a mission, or an exam. If a player character is on a mission, or in an exam, like the Moderator, the player should post a time stamp in their post. When not on a mission or in an exam, no timestamp is necessary.


BATTLES
This section is for all battles: whether between player-controlled characters or npcs, whether informal battles or formal battles. Yes, there are rules for battles, so listen carefully:

INFORMAL:
1) The winner of the battle should be decided and agreed upon by both members involved. We trust that you are responsible enough to agree on a decision with maturity.
2) If neither member can decide on a winner, a Moderator will step in and decide on a winner based on quality of posts and how well either member has obeyed rules in the battle (if they had to resort to god-modding or cheating in the fight).
3) If BOTH members are not satisfied with the outcome, they can PM the Moderator who decided on the winner, and all five mods will vote on the winner. This will not happen if only one member of the fight is dissatisfied.

FORMAL:
1) The winner of the battle will be voted on any mods present. All five mods do not have to be present to cast their vote.

MISSION:
1) The winner of the battle will be determined by the Moderator who gave your team the mission assignment. Until the Moderator gives you consent to defeat your opponent, you cannot, and must continue to RP the battle.

NOTE: Informal battles are ones outside of missions or storyline events--for example, you challenge another member to a fight or a friendly sparring session. Formal battles, on the other hand, are ones that are part of the storyline: For example, a Chuunin exam battle is a formal battle. You cannot enter a formal battle on your own. Mission battles are ones that you have in missions: you will usually be fighting an NPC, and will almost always be guaranteed a win; however, you cannot deliver the finishing blow in the fight unless the Moderator who gave you the mission tells you that you can. The Moderator will usually not give you permission to win the battle if you do not post, or the quality of your post was bad.

REWARD SYSTEM
Your character will start out with four jutsu, all D-C rank or lower. From then on, you cannot learn anymore until you've graduated from the academy. Upon graduation, you'll be given access to the Genin section of the Jutsu library in the Hokage Tower, allowing you to learn extra jutsu from D to C rank. Upon reaching Chunin Rank, your access to the library will be extended to the Chunin section, giving access to B-rank jutsu.Upon reaching Jounin, the jounin section will become open, giving access to A-Rank, and, with the Hokage's permission, S-rank jutsu. All jutsus learned by the player on his/her own, must be approved by a Moderator. As an alternative, occasionally, when a player has completed a mission, along with mission payment, they'll be given a pass to learn one jutsu from the library if they can't access that area yet.

ex: A genin takes part in, and completes an A-rank mission. He is then given a pass to access the A-rank section of the Jutsu library, and learn 1 jutsu.

This way must also be approved by a Moderator.

SHARINGAN

For members whose characters are an Uchiha, there is a special process for the Sharingan. You will only be able to advance your Sharingan during missions. The process works somewhat like this:

Upgrading the Sharingan: The mods will observe your posts during missions. If you show that you are responsible enough, a Moderator will post in OM telling you that you have upgraded your Sharingan. You cannot upgrade it yourself, you must wait for a Moderator to upgrade your Sharingan for you. Also note that your Sharingan will only gain one tomoe in each upgrade. It will take six upgrades for you to max out your Sharingan.
Once you have gotten to one tomoe in one eye and two in the other (three upgrades, and thus at least three missions), you will not be allowed to upgrade your Sharingan further until you become a Chuunin. So you have to wait until you become a Chuunin, and take more missions. You still will not be allowed to upgrade your Sharingan by yourself, you must wait for a Moderator to do so.

Mangekyou: Activating the Mangekyou Sharingan is a different process altogether, as it requires that you KILL another character. You cannot activate your Mangekyou until you are Jounin.
Of course, you cannot kill other members’ characters (woe to all those who do), as that would break the rules, but you CAN kill your own character. Let’s say you have two characters. To advance one of them to Mangekyou level, you kill the other. Keep in mind once you kill that second character, you cannot make a new one to replace the one you killed. Any other characters you create must start out as an Academy student.
Your Mangekyou ability can be anything of your choosing, but you MUST go through this with all five mods so we can make sure it isn’t too god-moddy, or to use the more common term, cheap.
Requirements for activating your Mangekyou:
1) Character must be Jounin
2) Character must also complete 5 straight missions of A-rank or higher without learning any jutsu’s or gaining any other prize (not including money), showing your dedication to learning/unlocking the Sharingan form.
3) You must kill off one other character. If the other character is not yours, you must have that member's approval first.

One more thing: With the Mangekyou comes a downside. With each use of the Mangekyou, your character's eyesight will worsen. Eventually, your character will become blind. Do not try to bypass this. If you do, your character will be forcefully made blind immediately.

Copying enemy jutsu: If you have a low-level Sharingan (ie. One that does not have three tomoe in each eye), you will not be able to copy jutsu permanently. You will only be allowed to copy a jutsu for the duration of the battle. After the battle, your character cannot use the copied jutsu anymore. HOWEVER, once you have maxed out your Sharingan, you will be able to copy jutsu permanently, BUT at a price: For each jutsu you copy, you must take out another jutsu from your list. So, you’ll have to sacrifice one of your earned jutsu for a copied jutsu. Also, use common sense. If you copy a jutsu permanently, you will NOT be able to use it to its full strength immediately; you must train using the jutsu as you do with normal jutsu.

Range of jutsu you can copy:

Genin:
1 tomoe in one eye: E-rank jutsu (basically you can’t copy anything; there are very few E-rank jutsu out there)
1 tomoe in each eye: E-rank jutsu (yes, still only E-rank)
1 tomoe in one eye, two in the other: D-rank jutsu or lower; can also mimic low-level taijutsu

Chuunin:
1 tomoe in one eye: E-rank jutsu
1 tomoe in each eye: D-rank jutsu or lower
1 tomoe in one eye, two in the other: D-rank jutsu or lower; can also mimic low-level taijutsu
2 tomoe in each eye: C-rank jutsu or lower;can mimic mid-level taijutsu
2 tomoe in one eye, three in the other: C-rank jutsu or lower; can mimic high-level taijutsu
Maxed out Sharingan (three in each eye): B-rank jutsu or lower; can mimic high-level taijutsu

Jounin:
1 tomoe in one eye: E-rank jutsu or lower
1 tomoe in each eye: D-rank jutsu or lower
1 tomoe in one eye, two in the other: C-rank jutsu or lower; can mimic low-level taijutsu
Two in each eye: B-rank jutsu or lower; can mimic mid-level taijutsu
2 in one eye, three in the other: A-rank or lower; can mimic high-level taijutsu
Maxed out Sharingan: A-rank or lower; can mimic extreme taijutsu (Gates)

Restrictions: You are not allowed to copy S-ranked jutsu, custom jutsu, or Kekkei Genkai. No exceptions. If you break this rule, you will receive a warning, regardless of any circumstances. Also, if you receive a character ban for your Uchiha character, you will not be allowed to create an Uchiha character again. EVER. So follow the rules.

BYAKUGAN

The Byakugan, unlike the Sharingan, is accessible to the character at the very beginning, meaning it does not have to be activated. However, its capabilities at the beginning are limited:

The Byakugan at the beginning will only be able to see at up to a range of 50 yards, plus X-ray vision up to that range and the ability to perceive chakra as a haze within living beings. The character will still be unable to distinguish individual chakra vessels or the chakra circulatory system at this time. Although the user will have 360-degree vision, they cannot see long distances or see through objects within that 360-degree view.

As the character completes missions, they can choose to upgrade their Byakugan instead of learning a jutsu or acquiring a weapon. The degree of progress for Byakugan is as follows:

1) Range of sight up to about 100 yards in one direction; X-ray vision still limited to only 50 yards in front.
2) Ability to see the chakra circulatory system in increased detail, but not tenketsu.
3) X-ray vision of up to 100 yards, extended to the entire 360-degree field of vision.
4) Ability to see the flow of chakra in the chakra circulatory system.
5) Range of sight increases to 150 yards, in all 360 degrees.
6) X-ray vision increases to 150 yards. The ability to see individual tenketsu is gained as well.
7) Range of sight and X-ray vision increases to 200 yards, all 360 degrees.

The progress does not depend on the rank of the mission; completing an A-rank or a D-rank mission does not make a difference in how far you progress, you’ll still only be able to progress one step up the Byakugan ladder.

I sent in a character last time, but never got a reply, so that's how I know about the Uchiha rule of the last RPG. Is that still in effect in this one? Or does Uchiha fall under extinct/endangered clans that we can't be part of?

IC: Rokudaime Hokage Uzumaki Naruto sighed as he glanced over the paperwork stacked across his desk. The sigh turned to a frown as he noted the most recent downside to a large pile of problems in most recent weeks. Knowing that the Chunin Exams had to be postponed, and possibly canceled wasn't going to go over well with the remaining examinee's, but it likely was going to have to be done, if only to increase the amount of potential Chunin candidates. Naruto sighed again. "I guess i'll make the announcement later this week..." he muttered to himself...

IC: A lone boy walked into the Village Hidden in the Leaves. He was stopped by a border patrol. "State your name, kid." The kid smiled.

"Name's Hamano Riku. I'm here for the Academy."

[Rakaru]

IC: Veran sat on a bench of sorts and had his sword over his shoulder. The area was quiet and that is how he liked it right now. He wore his headband and thought about things that hadn't meant much to him before.

IC: The border patrolman, one Kotetsu, parter of the just as often seen Izumo, smiled lightly, and said "Well that sounds interesting. Papers?" After checking Riku's papers, the young Genin to be was waved into the village without further trouble, left to his devices.

IC: Hamano got himself a map of the village... and proceeded to look for an udon place.

Ukuru wandered around Leaf, finally stopping at a ramen shop and ordering some barbequed pork ramen while he waited.
"Nice to be back."

-Is Shizake returning?

OOC: 1) Madara is one of the co-mods now, so indeed, I assume Shizake will return. And no, timestamps aren't necessary anymore, and will be handled entirely by the mods in 3 hour intervals.

IC: Hiryuu yawned as he made his way around the village. It was with great relish that he savored finally being able to relaz instead of training for the exams constantly. By Hiryuu's internal clock however, it was time to find some food. A craving for ramen came to ming immediately for the teenaged Hyuuga...

IC: Veran saw some people at the area's Ramen food station as he called it and he got up and decided to go check it out. Perhaps he would get something.

IC: Veran saw on eboy finish his food, and Veran himself was able to get some for himself. Now that he thought about it he was quite hungry.

IC: Hiryuu stepped past who he assumed was one of the younger Uchiha into the closest ramen stand. It was time for eatin'. Ordering a simple beef ramen, Hiryuu sighed contentedly. if anything was gonna help him wind down, it'd definitely be food...

IC: "Sorry, I myself am horrible with directions, chances are I had been there before and just don't remember how I got there." Veran replied with a bit of embarrassment. If he had to, it would take him some time to find the Academy itself on foot.

IC: Hiryuu turned from his ramen, and glanced from person to person in the shop. Finally swallowing the noodles still lingering in his mouth, Hiryuu said "Oh. Well hey there guys... ummm... What are you all doing here?"

IC: "I was just a bit hungry and I saw that this place had some customers and thought it might be a good resteraunt, so far my suspicions are correct."

IC: Hamano put out his hand. "Riku Hamano."

IC: "Yira Veran." Veran said to the one who had offered his hand and he was able to shake it while baancing the bowl of food on his free hand."Just call me Veran though."

IC: Hiryuu waved lightly at the two and said "Hyuuga Hiryuu. I think I know Veran, but I can't say i've met you Riku."

IC: "My last name is Riku. I'm Hamano. And I'm not from around here, like I said."

Hyuuga Shiro threw one of his ancient rusted kunai, flipping his hair; a habit he ha developed over the years he watched as the blade hit a thick tree that towered over many others. The tree itself was rooted into the ground, surrounding by thousands of other trees. Shiro flipped his hair again, and then he looked into the sky.

Shiro was a proud member of Konohagakure, he also was part of the elite Hyuuga clan. His parents were well-known shinobi, who served there village well in there time. Shiro would also become a shinobi, and hopefully die protecting Konohagakure.

Shiro grabbed 5 more kunai, pulling them out of a hand-made wool pouch, he quickly threw them in a fast succession. The kunai landed in a circle, surrounding the kunai he had already thrown. Most Academy Students did not have this level of aim, but they weren’t Shiro.

Shiro looked down, he activated his Byakugan, he peered through the thick trees and thousands of leaves. To him it was a beauty. Shiro watched the sun; his lunch break was almost over. If he did not hurry, the lunch bell would ring and he would go another day without food, Shiro thought bluntly. After 30 seconds, he decided to go and get some ramen.

Grabbing his assortment of shinobi weapons, Shiro begin to head west of the forest which would lead him to the Ichiraku ramen shop. Shiro’s head was filled with many thoughts, but most of them were about the new shady village known as Kagegakure. They were a threat to Konoha and had to be dealt with immediately. But, that was already known, the village however did not know much about Kagegakure itself.

Everyone in Shiro’s family had taken an ancient oath to protect Kagegakure, he too had taken this oath. Shiro’s father had trained Shiro himself, however, he often forgot about Shiro’s needs, so most of the time Shiro went without sleep. Several times his father had forgotten that he was a mere child, pushing him to limits that most children could not handle. Shiro often had numerous wounds when he went to sleep, sometimes these would be severe or minor injuries, such as large slashes and minor bruises from nunchaku. Over time Shiro learned to ignore this, but there was wound he could not ignore. The mark of the oath. On his neck was a scar, unnoticeable to anyone but Shiro knew it was there. His father himself had given it to Shiro.

But the training had succeeded, thought Shiro, he then flipped his hair. Shiro exceeded most children in battle. He could even wield his blade proficiently. To his regret, his father was not keen on Genjutsu and Mid-range techniques. Shiros hook his head, if he wanted to protect his village as a shinobi, he would have to well-rounded and his defense had to be stable.

Shiro avoided thinking of this, and finally arrived at the Ramen shop. He noticed four ninja engaging in conversation, two were genin, judging from their headbands. The latter were all Adademy Students for he recognized them. Shiro walked over to the four, hoping to join the conversation. He needed someone to talk too, and if they were spies he would find out eventually. Listening to the conversation, he heard a few things. "Who me?" asked one of the ninja, with a hint of confusion in his voice. Shiro nervously stpped forward, "Could I you’re your conversation? Hyuuga Shiro."

IC: Veran stood there waiting for an answer, as he didn't want to be rude. When the answer came Veran didn't quite recongnize the name of it.
