If you'd like to audition for the matoran Takua, record at minimum 5 lines(any of his lines from MOL will do) and upload them to either brickshelf or mediafire. Send me a PM with a link to this file.
I will then save them and judge them and select the person who got the role. Deadline extended to Febuary 13th. -Have fun!
EDIT: If you also wish to continue this role for Takanuva, record some of his lines as well.

As a fellow BIONICLE lover, I always wanted for the charaters in the story to come ot life. Movies did come out but, I wanted to see them animated in a different point of view as a player. With storys not told in the main canon, that can be revealed to eveyone. This dream of making a series became true when I learned of the fan-base of this site and my newfound knowledge of digital animation. I began this series in about September when I originally posted this topic. Then the first episode was released in November 15, 2008.
However, before I started this I had posted 3 completly different videos called: Toa Nuva Hero's Come Back, Toa Nuva Hero's Come Back V2 and The Death of A hero.
These gained a lot of population over here in the GA forums, with poeple commenting me telling me to begin a series. With these requests, determination, animation skills and the tools to create it, Bionicle Re-Birth Chronicles was born!

----
These people have migrated to another "planet" because of the attack of Makuta in their home planet. The villagers use Kanohi, invented by Mata-Nui to survive in this new landscape. There are six humans, each in a canister, floating in the endless ocean. The canisters respond to a signal and head for the nearest coast. These humans are Kenji, Sonia, Ven, Takeshi, Ryu and Max. Each have a Kanohi Power Device System, or KPDS for short, and in these systems lie the TOA heroes that are destined to awaken Mata-Nui. To fully use their power they work together, each with their bio-host and become a complete TOA MATA! to fight back the evil Makuta's attacks.

Dude, to say that I love your animation would be too small a compliment. (I'm even using correct spelling and grammar)
Now, I'm not sure I posted in the old topic (If I did, it doesn't matter now, does it?) but I have to say I love this, and it's funny sometimes, and even if the story is yelling "POWER RANGERS" at me, I'm still gonna keep coming everyday till the 3rd capter is up.
But i also have some C&C, you should work on the audio, cause like you said, it goes down in the Ko-Koro scene. And also, in the part where .... darn...can't remember his name....fell off a cliff, he was way too stiff, other than that, AWESOMENESS.

I also have some art I made during the topics-are-offboard period about the metru that I still need to scan, but would you care if I posted them in the Artwork Forum as different topics instead of sending them directly here?

And to make it clear, I haven't posted any of my art on BZP, so none of you know I actually draw.

Tohkann, I would highly suggest making the episodes totally .swf files, as it would reduce filesize a hundredfold. Also, in the Fan-art section, link the names of the participants to their profiles, as it's quite hard to keep track of all the changing screen-names.

The thing is, the program I use to create, animate, and export the animations, doesn't support many
features while exporting to flash files.

For example: 1. The shadows wont be exported, making it look too unfinished
2. The thickness of the lines, for some odd reason, render out differently for each line.

That is a good suggestion about the screen-names. I might do that

I think I also used that post to say I would be interested in trying out for Sound Editor (or whatever that position was called.) Also, during the absence, I decided to make a video parody of the first two episodes of your series. It's kinda like a DJ remixing music, y'know? I just like doing things based off of things I like, y'know?

Actually, what broke was my PC

I'm using my bro's laptop now. The way I'm going to work on the animation is in my computer class

when i think about bionicle, i think about power rangers.

Since Power Rangers has become one of the most successful brands among kids, That is quite a compliment

I never intended for this to relate to Power Rangers. My inspiration was actually from japanese henshin anime. So I could understand people saying that this is like megaman starforce or something.


Side note: Began retouching some details into background and character models today to make them look better for the next episodes.

Wanted to point this out quickly. It's less like Power Rangers, more like the genre of Tokusatsu in general.

It could be any number of things, Power Rangers, Super Sentai, Kamen Rider, Tomica Hero Rescue Series, Spider Man (yes, there was a Japanese Spider Man in I believe the 70's), Ryukendo and many others.
