Welcome to the JLU (Justice League Unlimited) RPG

My first RPG, this is about the animated show(s), Justice League/Justice League Unlimited. It will hopefully be run by me (Captain raven575) and Harley Quinn.
Story Summary: Players will be assigned teams, If you want to join, should have a general knowledge of the DCAU (DC Animated Universe) world, having watched a few episodes of Justice League & Justice League Unlimited, and it is my recommendation that players be familiar with Justice League, The New Batman/ Superman Adventures, Batman Beyond, and Batman: The Animated Series. (These can be found on video websites and info on the DCAU can be found on a certain wiki)

Rules
BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING ELSE, PLEASE READ THESE RULES!
1.) As always, the standard BZP rules apply. No flaming, no filter dodging, etc.

2.) Always use OOC and IC in your posts. IC, means "In Character," and is used to be your character and tell what they do. OOC is "Out Of Character," which is used to not be your character and talk to other players. Not using either will warrant a warning, (Which can be taken away if you edit).

2a.) Unless you're post has a meaningful IC or OOC, then do not post at all.

3.) Do your best to use proper grammar and punctuation. It makes the RPG ALOT easier to understand. If your computer has spell check, I recommend using it. However, I do understand that we are all human, and we all make errors every now and then...

4.) You may not take control of other people's characters completely unless granted my permission. (You can alternatively use the character if you have permission from the “creator” of the character) However, you can give a small description of what they're doing or what they say. I and the RPG mods are exempt from this, and can use your character as we deem fit. You can also freely control any of the JLU members [except the founding members (See below)]. If you wish to use them, STAY IN CHARACTER, use their personality.

5.) No God-Modding. In case you do not know, God-Modding is when you make your character outrageously powerful, never letting attacks hit you and/or making your character outrageously strong, defeating enemies in one hit.

8.) DO NOT ARGUE WITH THE MODS. If we have made a mistake, then by all means feel free to point it out, but the bottom line is that flat-out arguing with us WILL NOT BE TOLERATED!

9.) This RPG has a five strike system. The first two strikes will merit a warning without any further action. The third strike merits a one-week suspension, in which your character will become an NPC for everyone to use. The fourth warning is the same thing, except for two weeks. Upon the fifth warn, you will be banned from the RPG, and something bad will happen to your character. I do believe in redemption, and if I feel you are sincere in your apology, you will be re-allowed into the RPG and your member will be put on probation for a month. If you strike in that month, you are GONE FOREVER!

10.) When assigned to a group or team, you'll also be assigned a color for you to post in. This is so that when you're gone for a day and we get five more pages, you'll easily be able to skim and pick out your team's posts. You can have dialog or other such things be a different color if you usually have them that way, but otherwise make this the color of your entire post. The colors will follow your team name, and in the case of not being assigned a team, make it black.

Now for the fun part: PROFILES! Please PM your applications to me (DO NOT POST THEM!), and I will either approve you and add you to the list, or reject you with reasons why you were not approved. Oh, and make your character original - try to make them different from the other characters. PLEASE STICK WITH THE GUIDELINES! DO NOT ADD EXTRA!

Character Name: The alias of your character. You can have a secret identity, (or not) so you actually get to have a choice in something! (LOL)
Powers/ Abilities: Your character's power(s). Never forget to be original! However, remember some characters like Batman do not actually have any superpower(s), but are just good at martial arts and have their gadgets. Be very descriptive, if you only write “Fire-Powers” I will reject it because it is not specific!
Appearance: Explain what your character looks like in detail. Give a detailed description, (height, skin color, eye color, hair color, gender, etc.) What does their outfit look like? Feel free to supply pictures, or even create a picture of them.
Personality: Tell what your character is like. What are their likes and dislikes? What kind of people are they friends with? How do they react in different situations? Is your character completely sane?
Bio: Give a brief history of your character. Again, retain originality and creativity with origins. DO NOT rewrite certain history, (such as being Superman’s third cousin twice removed, or Bruce Wayne’s long lost sister).

1.) Username: Captain raven575
Character Name: Cat Kid (Also known as "The Black Cat", or "The Cat")
Powers/ Abilities: Cat Kid has nine lives (he can survive nine fatalities before dying), enhanced cat-like senses (sight, hearing, smell,) and cat-like agility. He has catlike abilities, (night vision, can climb almost any surface, can survive very long falls and land on his feet, and has "instincts" whicha sixth sense which gives him a form of premonition), but this affects his personality (He sometimes acts on pure instinct without applying self-control, his temperament can change without warning, and he developed total independence). Cat Kid is also in top physical fitness for his age.
Appearance: Cat Kid wears an all black outfit that covers his entire body except his face. He wears a mask that covers the top of his face completely similar to Batman's mask, but has "cat ears" instead of "bat ears". He also sports a silver belt which he uses to carry his tools and equipment, (Bullwhip or Cat of Ninetails, Grappling gun, smoke bombs, and other things depending on the situation).
Personality: Due to the nature of Cat Kid's powers, his personality is a mix of human and feline personality. As stated before, he has a sixth sense which gives him a form of premonition, but when he uses this he can only act on instinct and cannot exercise self-control. He is independent like a cat, his temperament can constantly change without warning, (and he can sometimes have the attention span of a cat). Other than that, Cat Kid tries to be friendly, but will not hesitate to tell you if you are pestering him. Cat Kid is also a major animal rights activist, and does not tolerate animal cruelty.
Bio: Cat Kid was killed at 9:00 am on his thirteenth birthday, after discovering that his father was a Super Villain and learning the nature of his plan of world domination. He was then revived by nine alley cats, giving him nine new lives and a desire for justice. He then found the lady who had owned the cats who revived him, and told him how she was revived in the same manner, but more importantly, that there is good and evil, but no ordinary human is pure good or pure evil, and that he had the choice of how to use his powers. Cat Kid worked as an illegal teen vigilante for four years before he entered a professional crime fighting group, and met his long lost sister. About two years later, he felt a need for independence and that the organization was starting to fall apart, so he quit the organization. He then joined the Justice League when he was nineteen years old, and helps Wonder Woman and Batman run the Justice League training program.

2.) Username: Harley Quinn
Character Name: Flora
Powers/ Abilities: Flora is immune to all poisons and toxins, can control and manipulate plant-life to do her will, she can feed off of sunlight (if she does not want to eat), and is a combat and weapons expert. Her emotions cannot be manipulated or changed unnaturally (which was a side effect of the experiments that gave her her powers).
Appearance: Flora is usually wears a lime-green long sleeved shirt under a dark green leather jacket, dark green leather pants, and dark green leather boots. She has green eyes and wears green lipstick and nail-polish.
Personality: Flora is very nice and friendly to almost anyone she meets. She likes helping people and loves animals. On the other hand, she will not hesitate in fighting criminals, and can sometimes be a little extreme in her crime fighting methods.
Bio: Flora was raised by her father, and he was a rich scientist/eco-terrorist. Despite this, he loved Flora and wanted her to be his successor. At an early age, he gave her injections of immunity to all venoms, toxins and poisons so she would be safe from any harmful effects of his poisonous experiments/crimes. Her father provided Flora with the best education money could buy, had her take part in gymnastics and archery, and trained her in combat. The one day her father revealed to Flora about his criminal nature, and his plan to bomb the city with toxic gas, (up to that point she was clueless of his criminal nature). She felt remorse and vowed to bring him to justice, discovering that the immunity shots given to her so long ago had a side effect of giving her plant control, and she used her newfound powers to stop him and turn him in to the police. She then lived with her mother and grandparents and discovered she had a brother who was Cat Kid. (Note: Cat Kid and Flora's mother and grandparents knew he was Cat Kid, but Flora at the time did not know he was Cat Kid and thought he was dead). She started a career as an illegal vigilante and became a teen heroine of her home city, with the only people knowing of her powers being her mother and grandparents. She decided to leave and join a crime fighting organization (which her brother Cat Kid was a member of at the time) and before leaving learned about Cat Kid's existence. Two years after she joined, Cat Kid quit and became a member of the Justice League. Shortly after this happened, Flora herself quit the organization and joined the Justice League Training Program.

3.) Member Name: Zev the Wolf
Hero Name: Zev Raregroove
Powers: Is a powerful shaman, as in, he can summon spirits to fight with and/or for him, or, to bond with his own spirit, forming a stronger being. He can only summon a spirit when he has Mana, or life and spirit energy. Then, he can form a corporeal form for his spirit to fight with. Any spirit that is at his level or weaker is at his command, but he cannot control the most powerful of them. He usually summons a powerful elemental spirit, the Spirit of Fire, or S.O.F.; it has an appearance like a compromise between an anthropomorphised oriental dragon and hyena, with a stream of fire for a lower body and four floating panels of armor, two beside the waist, two beside the shoulders. The S.O.F. has a malleable form, meaning Zev can easily adapt its shape, which is a factor in him taking it as his chosen spirit. He is also a skilled onmyoji, Yin and Yang mage, allowing him to manipulate a single on of the elements, like his chosen element of fire, or, if he is at his best, he can transmute elements in a cycle, i.e., Fire to Water, Water to Earth, etc., etc. He is also granted limited clairvoyance, if he has a medium, like a mirror or crystal ball, and the ability to purify and exorcise spirits. Finally, he can manipulate the circumstances of his own resurrection, which he has done twice, once in feudal times in Japan, again during the times of the Native Americans before they first met the Europeans. Also, for three weeks on some years at a random time, the planet Rago aligns with Earth, boosting his powers; this is shown by his S.O.F. being golden instead of red, and a line of five stars across his brow. However, on many years, Rago does not even align, making it an unreliable boost.
Appearance: Native American; waist-length dark hair; lean, strong muscles, blue eyes. Wears a white leather jacket, open; white poncho decorated with a red wolf; white leather pants; steel-plated black boots; red leather gloves, with three hexagonal plates going up the lengths of both and a yellow star on the back of both hands.
Personality: Is normally kind and relaxed, laying around and enjoying himself. He loves entertaining, performing magic tricks and telling stories. He is also very protective, trying his hardest to keep his friends, whom he considers family, safe. However, when he actually does go into a rage, it is quite a sight to behold; he throws frightful fits similar to tantrums, a lot of screaming and breaking things, though he also tends to break people.
Bio: In Zev's first life, his mother was killed by Japanese villagers because they thought she was a demon. He escaped, but others would not accept him and were constantly making attempts on his life, which tended to end with someone dying, because he had no self-control. However, he met a small spirit, who taught him the arts of being a shaman, and this gave him the mindset he has today. Under that spirit, he grew into a powerful shaman and onmyoji, and even wrote a book on being a shaman. He grew into a public figure, though he would allow no records of him to be kept. However, one day, a rival exorcist destroyed the spirit who had taught Zev, thinking that would somehow diminish Zev's power; not so. Zev used a forbidden technique to plant a demonic egg in the man's soul, and he was eaten from the inside out. Zev then departed from society to live in the mountains, where he lived out his life, before he was killed by a mighty demon. He would then reincarnate into a Native American tribe, where his anger at the death of his teacher festered, until he became a threat. He began a plot to strike back at the world, before a shaman from Japan whose power rivalled his own, Yohken Asakura, struck him down at the cost of his own life. Zev would then proceed to reincarnate, once again in a Native American tribe; however, now, he wished to do good, and sided with the Justice League. His defeat at the hands of the Asakura Clan halved his power, sealing one part of that half into his Spirit of Fire, away from him, and only allowing him to have the other part when the planet of Rago aligned with the Earth, as punishment. He took his punishment, and happily agrees he deserved it. However, his skills are still great, and he can go toe-to-toe with many powerful beings, and is a valuable friend to have.

4.) Username: Chronicler of Ko-Koro
Character Name: Seer
Powers/ Abilities: Psychometry. Can see details of the past and present when in close physical contact with someone. Usually, he can get the point in time he sees down to a general period, but more often then not it's just random.
Appearance: Has brown eyes and messy, uncombed blonde hair. Wears a bright green suit with a red tie (with a smiley face on it), and a electric blue cloak. Also wears purple-tinted glasses.
Personality: Seer acts more than a little bit off. He's acts weird, he says weird things, and he most certainly dresses weird. He is either insane, putting on an elaborate act to confuse his enemies, or both. No one knows for sure, possibly not even him. He is usually nice and cheerful towards most people, but often scares them away with his eccentricity.
Bio: Growing up in Metropolis, Seer was kidnapped by a supervillain, who was hoping to use him as a test subject for experiments. He was soon rescued, but the supervillain succeeded in making some changes to him. He didn't discover these things until later in life, when he started getting flashes of things that happened and things that would later happen when he touched objects. He opened up a business as a psychic, calling himself the Seer, and used his powers to tell people their future. One day, while going into his home, he saw a flash of someone robbing his house. Unsure of when it would happen, he started to train himself, so he would be prepared to fight off the robber when he came. He traveled over the world, training to ensure his combat skills would be good enough to repel whoever was going to break into his house. Unfortunately, when he did get back home after his training, he discovered he'd already been robbed while he was away. The theif took everything he had, and Seer had wasted all his remaining money traveling the earth to train. After having a laugh at the irony, he figured he should put his ability and his combat training to use, and decided to join the Justice League.

5.) Username: Sisen
Character Name: Saisen
Powers/ Abilities: Can use spiritual energy to fire blasts of energy among other things such as, creating energy bonds to trap and immobilize people or creating barriers and shields. He strongest attacks are focused through his sword. His physical strength isn’t great but what he lacks in it he makes up for in speed and swordplay. He is very agile both physically and mentally. When he chooses to he can move so fast that it appears as if he is teleporting. He is no where near as fast as the flash though.
Appearance: Saisen is a young male in his early twenties. He has brown hair, brown, eyes, a brown katana, and black framed glasses that he doesn’t have to wear. He stands around 5’9” and is of Caucasian descent. He wears a white robe over a pair of black robed clothes.
Personality: Saisen is an introvert he sticks to himself and is thinking constantly. He doesn’t get upset very easily and if he doesn’t he doesn’t show it. His personality keeps him level headed in intense battles.
Bio: Saisen was raised by a society of people that can fight the same way he does. He is the only one of them to have ever joined the Justice League, as such he hasn’t learned all of the techniques he could have if he had stayed with his people. He doesn’t have any blood relatives and fights only to uphold the law.

6.) Username: Toa Korkoa: Toa of plasma, or just Korkoa.
Character Name: HERO: Plasmafire. CIVILIAN: Ken Orkoa.
Powers/ Abilities: Can create and control plasma and fire. He also has extreme resistance to heat.
Appearance: 5'11", short brown hair, blue eyes. Plain t-shirt and jeans; in civilian form. In hero form, hair becomes fire, eyes become flaming orbs. Supersuit is reminiscent of Fantastic 4 jumpsuits, but it's orange with black gloves and boots, and has a flaming "P" on his chest.
Bio: Ken has always wanted to be something special. When he reached his 16th birthday, his parents revealed something incredible. They were retired superheroes! They started training him, and he soon unlocked his powers. Ever since, he's been a minor hero. He hopes to gain recognition by joining the Justice League.

7.) Username: Thomas.Hunter
Character Name: Shadow
Abilities: Can control the shadows, can heal (under great stress),and has limited control over electricity.
Appearance: All black outfit, 6.3 feet tall, brown eyes, black hair, European, Male.
Personality: Cool & collected, the type who doesnt like working with others much, the kind who would rather go in without a plan than sit around and think of one.
Bio: Not much is known about him. Some say hes alien. Some say hes a clone. What is known, however, is that not even he knows about his past. All he rembers is wakeing up one day in a dark room, a room that is familiar to him. He dosnt rember haveing parents. All he knows is that he has a brother who knows all about him, who he is still seeking to this day. Thinking it would help him find his brother, he joined the Justice League.

6.) Username: Codex101
Character Name: Quartz
Powers/ Abilities: The ability of understanding. Sort of like super-intelligence. Allows the user to be able to understand powers when used and make a counter-strategy within milliseconds. He can also calculate probabilities. Also has a hunger to understand more and more. Knows almost everything there is to know. This makes him a skilled martial artist, a great strategist, and a great opponent.
Note: The single weakness of Quartz is that he is not in perfect shape, and even though he can construct strategies, he can't necessarily put them in action.
Appearance: Quartz is 6 ft tall, and is thin. He has short black hair, and a black domino mask that covers his eyes. He has an lightly tight black T-Shirt and a silver trench coat. He has regular jeans. He is slightly insane due to his hunger and is a loner. He is also a very serious person, and will not hesitate to kill even a closest ally if it is necessary.
Bio: Quartz's real name is John Hannity. He was a normal kid with a normal life, and after a strange infection in a wound on his head, he got his ability. So he became a hero.

7.) Username: Malchior
Character Name: Vereor
Powers/ Abilities: Vereor is a Vipa lifeform (see bio). His strength, speed and agility are greatly enhanced and he is also resistant to radiation and most poisonous gases. He has studied and trained a wide variety of martial arts, including Ninjitsu, and is an expert on fighting with melee weapons, especially with a sword. He wields a sword as a weapon, along with some shuriken. He also has a few gadgets like smoke bombs.
His main ability is being able to tap into energy waves called Neo-Psionics. This energy is produced by a Vipa when the being is in combat. The longer the Vipa fights, the more Neo-Psionics are produced. By tapping into these waves, a Vipa can use them in various ways. Vereor, so far has only used them in two ways. The first is called "Time Extend". This requires a moderately large amount of the energy, but when activated it slows down time around Vereor, and speeds Vereor up to an extent. This can only be maintained for about three seconds. The second way is known as the Neo-Bomb. This requires an extremely large energy resource. To use this, Vereor would have to be in constant combat for at least about forty minutes. When this is activated, an explosion, with the radius of roughly seven meters occurs. The explosion is incredibly powerful and can destroy almost anything within it. However Vereor chooses not to use this power for several reasons - the explosion doesn't distinguish between foe and friend, it destroys everything in it and even though it is mostly powered by Neo-Psionics, it also takes energy from Vereor's body, and after the explosion, enough of his energy would be gone to leave him barely able to stand.
Appearance: Vereor is moderately tall and handsome. He has blue eyes and shoulder length black hair. The hair falls on his right eye, and the very tips of the hair are dyed dark red. His skin is rather pale. He has some scars around his body, but his face has none. He wears a black suit, with traces of dark red. It consists of knee-length boots, trousers and top made similarly to Batman's, and elbow length-gloves. He also wears two studded belts, one of which his sword is attached to.
Personality: Vereor is serious and appears cold hearted. He is a dark person and rarely talks to anyone, being the lone-wolf kind. He loves heavy music and meditation. He despises most kinds of meat and hates random and overly excited people.
Bio: Once, a group of scientists experimented on human children, trying to create a perfect soldier. After decades of experimenting and research a small number of Vipa lifeforms was created, Vereor among them. The scientists tested the Vipa to see their extent of power and gradually began to fear them, realizing that they could easily rebel and kill their creators. So the scientists destroyed the laboratory with the children still inside. They set in on a huge fire, making it look like an accident, killing the Vipa. The only one who survived was Vereor. Fifty years have passed since then, however Vereor only aged by fifteen so in terms of appearance and health he is only about twenty. Vereor has suffered amnesia for unknown reasons ten years ago and the only thing he can remember is the fire of the laboratory and the name of his kind - Vipa. He was well trained in combat and stealth for as long as he can remember, but he highly doubts that he received this training in the laboratory, but he will probably never know. The only object he has from his past is his sword.

8.)Username: -Terminator- or GG
Character Name: Rawr
Powers/ Abilities: Rawr is something of a werewolf, a normal human *not big huge and burly* who, when enraged, sprouts thick brown hair and dons a wolf-face. His bark is worse then his bite, and he is known to be something of a wannabe.
Appearance: Basically, take your average, every day werewolf and take a hundred pounds off him. Dat's Rawr. Otherwise, imagine a normal dude with brown hair, brown eyes, pale skin, and a knack for chewing on...anything...
Bio: Rawr, at the age of 7, was playing pirates when he fell into a sticker bush. He climbed out and stumbled off into the woods, where he was adopted by wild chickens. Then a wolf came and killed everybody while Rawr was asleep in a tree. During the brutal onslaught, Rawr fell out of the tree and into another bush. The wolf noticed a ten-year old chicken-boy fall out of a tree, and bit him. Now, the wolf was a mutant chemical escapee, thus he passed on werewolf stuff to Rawr.

9.) Username: The Krekkadile Hunter
Character Name: Spitfire
Powers/ Abilities: Pyrokinesis. Control of fire, able to superheat the air in a short period of time. Highly skilled at Kendo, so he carries a long katana. Also very strong and agile. his sword is heat-resistant so he can engulf it in flames
Appearance: brown hair, green eyes, caucasian. 6'2''. Outfit: Red w/ orange fireball symbol on chest. Bronze armorplate on right shoulder. Keeps his Katana in a metallic sheath on his left hip. wears orange mask similar to the Riddler's mask.
Personality: insubordinate, with a bit of an edgy streak. When in a good mood, he is very pleasant to be around. however, when mad, most want to stay out of his way. he thinks strategically. His standings with heroes are questionable. on occasion he is a team player, and sometimes he's a loner. he only shares his plots if he knows it will work. sane, if not for his temper.
Bio: The firstborn to a young couple in Brooklyn, he grew up in a tough environment. As he grew, he began to suffer from fits of muscle weakness. it eventually evolved into severe tuberculosis. at the emergency room, it was found that there was only one cure, an experimental antibiotic called pyroxin. the cure worked, but it overdeveloped his strength and speed, and gave him an odd control over fire. his parents then dismissed him as a freak he was forced to fend for himself... until he was found by the Justice League.

10.) Username: Silver-Silver
Character Name: Lucian
Powers/Abilities: Has the ability to control light, from forming it into blasts or slicing waves, to forming mirages that vary in intensity by the amount of existing light in the area, to even partially turning himself to light and getting to a location at great speeds by reflecting himself off of reflective objects or to allow a solid attack to pass through him, if he knows the attack is coming in time; thus, if an attack is faster than his already impressive reaction speed, or enhanced by means such as magic, it will truly hit him; telekinesis, but only when his mind is completely clear and calm; is a skilled hand-to-hand combatant, and is capable of taking hits. However, as a result of his powers, he needs a vastly larger amount of food than a normal human to satiate his hunger, but also can quickly recover from exhaustion just by getting proper sustenance into his system.
Appearance: Fair skin; wavy, jawlength hair of a dark blue; glasses with large, ovaloid lenses and a transparent orange tint; normally wears a red tuxedo and black dresshoes, even with a small, neatly folded white cloth for cleaning his glasses in his left breastpocket.
Personality: Lucian is peaceful and softspoken, and is quite mature; he rarely ever shows true distress or anger. He is also unusually pacifistic to villains, once observed asking a mugger directions seconds after dodging the man's knife. However, in the end, he puts the peace of all beings above all, and is willing to take violent measures to ensure citizens do not get hurt. He also willingly performs underhanded and malicious actions if the situation calls for it, and is willing to allow fate to punish him for those actions. He is also an avid reader and scholar, with specialties in mathematics and science. He enjoys taking strolls, reading books and observing normal humans.
Bio: In the past, Lucian was an avid Renaissance scholar, studying the pure power stars contained through an exceptionally powerful microscope. Eventually, he found a well of energy on Earth with properties similar to stars, and took a sample. However, his skin accidentally touched the energy, and in an instant, all of the energy was forced into him. He briefly turned into a being of pure energy, able to see all the good in the world, as well as the dark beings clamoring to destroy it. He knew that his body wouldn't be able to stay together with these properties, and sealed himself away, using energy to turn the well the energy had come from to form a sarcophagus for himself; he lay himself to rest there, until the energy that made up his being had cooled off and reformed into his original being. However, he couldn't help but fall asleep, and fell into a deep slumber until the present day, when the Justice Leage of America uncovered him in his tomb, carved into the Rock of Gibraltr. He quickly decided that he wanted to help the world with the powers he found himself in possession of, and joined the trainee program to fully master his powers to be of better use.

Powers/ Abilities: Crystal control. Shard is capable of creating and controlling any crystalline substance (from diamonds to salt, and even ice crystals to an extent). He commonly uses this to cover himself in a ‘second skin’ of millimeter-thick, diamond-hard crystal that he instinctively controls to not limit his movement; projecting crystal spikes or other crystalline weapons/tools; creating crystal paths across gaps or otherwise uncrossable surfaces; and projecting crystal ‘seeds’ into the ground to manipulate them further into larger constructs. While still connected to his body the crystal can last indefinitely, but when detached it crumbles and vanishes in a matter of hours.
Appearance: Though he originally used only his ‘crystal skin’ as a hero outfit, complaints about the noise he made whenever he moved soon prompted Aiden to take up a specially-tailored suit that opens and closes when he projects crystals, though the crystal skin covers it as well.
Personality: Casual and laid-back, Aiden lives life by a single credo: Be serious when it matters, goof off when it doesn’t. Only the direst situations have yet merited the status of ‘mattering,’ but he reacts accordingly.
Bio: Once a ‘freelance reporter’ (meaning he snooped around for the occasional scoop and sold it to the Daily Planet) a vacation in Africa lead to a series of discoveries involving diamond mines and meteorites and, eventually, his powers over crystal.
It took several months to learn to control his strange new powers, but Aiden eventually got the hang of it eventually. However, this didn’t immediately lead to a life of superheroing; at first he hid them in fear of being shunned, then he began using them frivolously for reasons of personal enjoyment, though always in secret. But one day he ended up crossing paths with Superman, quite by accident, and wound up joining the League as Shard.

Character Name: Scott Westerfield(Not publicly known), Spirit
Powers/ Abilities: Able to summon or become the spiritual incarnate of any constellation, getting powers derived from that. For example, Orion would change him into a tall warrior with great strength. Also possesses second sight(A sixth sense, of sorts, which allows interaction with the spirit world, and the ability to sense others), telekinesis, astral projection, and energy manipulation.
Appearance: Normally, has very pale blonde hair with white skin, and white eyes. Wears a black and white suit when powers are activated. When powers are activated, becomes a black silhouette with glowing white designs. Quite similar to http://i276.photobucket.com/albums/kk24/es...cosmic-aang.png but with hair and a white glow instead of purple. Spirits look similar to this, but in their own shapes.
Personality: Scott is a very outgoing person, and quite nice. Is looked down on slightly because he is only 16, but is very capable and strong.
Bio: When Scott was young, he saw pictures in the stars, and when he was older began to hear voices whenever he looked at the night sky. One night after listening for a long time, something happened. A star fell from the sky, condensing into a bolt of energy that struck Scott. He was instantly killed, along with everyone in a five mile radius. His astral form was preserved, and his abilities manifested, allowing him to see into the spirit world. He was able to construct a body for himself, and returned to the earth. He was found, living as a ghost of sorts, by Batman, who introduced him to the JLU. He is now finishing his high-school education with Batman, while he saves the world. He will always be a child of two worlds, trapped between the Spirit Realm and Earth, never really belonging, but he has resolved to use his abilities to help those in need.

OOC: Look, life has been... insane for a while, (grades, school, Duels, Platinum) but I just came up for a good story plot that begins... now.

IC:

Just as Cat Kid stepped through the door of the new Watchtower, the whole building exploded. When the smoke cleared, the new tower was gone, and many of the members were either injured, very injured, or dying. The only one on his feet was Cat Kid. "Well this is terrific. I lost a life." At that moment, Superman, seemingly out of nowhere, flew to the scene.

"Is anyone dead? What happened?"

"Does me losing a life count as someone dead?"

Superman glared at Cat Kid, as if he was staring into his soul. "A shuttle will arrive in a few minutes to take you to the... existing Watchtower... in space. Now tend to the wounded."

Superman seemed a bit funny, didn't he? Cat Kid asked himself. He opened the pockets in his belt, and pulled out first aid materials. "Time for healing."

IC: Vereor jumped to his feet and brushed the dust and dirt off of his suit.
"See? What did I say? This is what you get for making your headquarters so bloody obvious" He muttered to himself while examining some of his wounds.
He found a rather nasty cut with a scrap of metal from the watchtower in it. Vereor quickly pulled it out ignoring the stinging pain, tore off some cloth in which his sword sheath was wrapped, and bandaged the wound.
"So, any ideas who would try to blow us up into pieces at a time of day like this?" He asked Cat Kid.

Seer got up from where the blast had flung him. His hair looked even more wild and uncontrolled than usual, and his bright colored clothes were covered in ash. He was desperately trying to straighten his glasses, despite the fact that one lens was cracked, and the other was missing entirely.

"Huh... That probably wasn't my fault..." Seer said. He glanced down at his smiley-face tie, which was visibly stained with blood. "Great. I'm never going to get that out, y'know?"

It was then Seer noticed a piece of metal shrapnel sticking out of his chest, the source of the bloodstain. Seer shrugged, looking surprisingly calm given his situation.

"Alright, that I'd like to get out..."

[For Science!]

[Toa Korkoa: Toa ...]

IC: Plasmafire sat up, wincing at the sharp pain in his left arm. "Geez, I think it's broken..." He checked himself for any other injuries. There didn't seem to be any, probably because his intense body heat would cauterize any wounds he recieved. He looked around and saw Seer with a piece of metal sticking out of his chest. "Oh great. I can cauterize that if you want, stop the bleeding."

[Chronicler of Ko...]

IC:
"Oh don't worry. This won't kill me." Seer said with a grin. "I've checked.

He approached the smoldering remains of the building with a complete disregard for the piece of shrapnel embedded in his chest.

"Now, if you'll excuse me..." Seer said, putting his hand to what was left of the building. "...I've got some work to do."

He stood there for at least half a minute, with a look of concentration on his face. Then, he immediately jumped back, making a particularly girlish scream.

"OWOWHOTHOTHOT!" Seer exclaimed, waving his hand around. Clearly, the metal hadn't completely cooled after the explosion.

After a few minutes of flailing about, Seer calmed down. He shrugged, straightened what was left of the glasses, and then placed his hand onto the debris again...

OOC: Cat Kid, it's totally up to you what Seer picks up with his powers, or if he picks up anything at all.

"I see your point about the headquarters," Cat Kid said to Vereor. He then looked around at the destroyed building, noticing a shining speck of light in the night sky, coming closer with each passing second. "Ah, the Javelin." Cat Kid sighed as the shuttle landed. A few minutes later, everyone was on the ship, and before long the ship was nearing the Watchtower in orbit around Earth.

As soon as the Javelin was in the landing port of the Watchtower, Flora and a few non-trainiees took a few injured heroes to the medical wing, while the rest of the group headed to their rooms. "Goodnight everybody," Cat Kid said softly, yet loud enough for everybody to hear, "I hope my evil alter-ego doesn't wake up in the middle of the night and assault any of you, because that tends to happen alot after I lose a life..."

"That explains the vision..." Seer muttered.

OOC: I will admit this isn't my best writing...

Before anyone gets the wrong idea, I meant assault like assault and battery, not the other kind...

"I'm afraid I can neither confirm not deny that." Seer said to Jester. "Now, where was I... Oh, right!"

He reached into his coat, taking out a pair of glasses identical to his other pair. He swapped out the broken pair and quickly straightened the new glasses.

"There. Much better." Seer said with a grin. "But, there was something else I was going to tell you guys about... Oh well, probably not important."

IC: "Well, I'm not in the habit of refusing information from a seer." Plasmafire muttered. "What is it?"

The Next Day... at 6:30 in the morning...

"So why did you wake us up at this forbidden hour?" Cat Kid asked as he entered the conference room in the Watchtower. "...Nevermind, we're nocturnal."

"Is there any reason you speak as multiple persons rather than one person?" Martian Manhunter asked Cat Kid shut the door. He then walked to the table (which had a coffee pot on its surface), and poured a cup of coffee, along with adding extra cream and sugar, and sat in a nearby chair.

"Okay, now I can focus. What is the emergancy?" He said after taking a drink of coffee.

"Flash is missing. I need a search party to find him. He won't answer his communicator, and his tracking device does not appear on the locator. Therefore, both Teams A and B will head to South America to search for him."

IC: "'K," spitfire said, wondering about how he knew Flash was in South America. "Doyou have any Idea who took flash, if anyone?" Spitfire asked.

A few hours later...

"As all of you know," Cat Kid said to the group of heroes-in-training, "Flash is gone. We are going after him, so it looks like we are taking a trip to South America. End of story, goodbye, the end... Any questions?"

[Toa Korkoa: Toa ...]

IC: Ken raised his hand. "Yeah. How do we know he's in South America?"

[Swerve]

IC: Spitfire Chimed in. "Yeah, and one more thing. do we know who or what took him?"

[Harley Quinn]

IC:

"Seer, any ideas?" Jester asked as she and Seer sat down.

"Yes. Egypt. That's were the Flash is... in a hidden, underground tomb outside of the valley of the kings." Seer said with awe in his voice.

"Perfect... So why did his comunicator signal disappear in South America?" Flora asked quitely, her voice unamazed.

"You don't want to know." Seer replied after pausing a few seconds.

A few hours later...

"Valley of the Kings, here I come!" Jester said as the Javelin came close to a giant pyramid before landing infront of it. After a few minutes, everyone was out of the Javelin, readying to enter the tomb.

"FREEZE!" Shouted the voices of at least twenty national guard. "DON'T MOVE!"

"IT'S THE COPS!" Jester shouted to her fellow heroes. "NOW WHAT?!"

"Do you suppose we're double parked?" asked Seer. "Anyways, we need a plan. I'm going to need a roll of copper wire, a bag of marshmallows, and a thermos of hazardous waste. Then, I can get working on that plan.

OOC: After trials and tribulations, I have finally been added to the character list! Yay~! Patience is a virtue, I suppose.

IC: Lucian looked around quietly. The national guards had semi-automatic rifles, but didn't appear to have any kevlar on. It seemed like they wouldn't shoot, but even if they did, the trainee heroes would likely be able to handle themselves. It would probaby be best to simply wait this thing out before going straight to laserkicks. Lucian took out the one book he had on him, titled Love Bites: A Compendium of Relationships Gone Horribly, Horribly Wrong. He began reading, hoping the situation solved itself before he finished the book.

He glanced at Seer, who appeared to be trying to catch a glimpse of his own forehead. "Then again, they might shoot before that even happens..." He went back to reading his book.

IC: Lucian glanced calmly at Plasmafire. Then he looked to Seer. Back to Plasmafire. Back to Seer. He shrugged.

"Well, if they haven't started shooting yet, then they're probably not too hostile...Why doesn't our fearless leader try to negotiate?" Lucian wasn't sure exactly who the leader was, but he at least hoped they really were fearless...

IC: Lucian smiled calmly, replying.

"Well, I've read about a girl putting centipedes in her boyfriend's bed after she thought he cheated on her, when he actually didn't. He got bit multiple times, barely survived, and as of the time this book was published, the girl's still in prison and her obviously ex-boyfriend still sends her hate mail. And that's one of the most tame things I've read in this book, so that should give you an idea." Lucian looked up from his book, obviously thinking.

"Isn't it amazing how a couple can be all love and smiles one day, then be totally at eachother's throats the next?"

IC: Spitfire Cut in, sighed, and said, "well, if your book club discussion is over i believe we have some armed guards to fight" as he took out his Katana and Ignited it.

[Mistgun]

IC: Lucian scowled. He held out his hand towards Spitfire, as it glowed with a purple energy. The katana was surrounded with the same purple glow, as it was forceably yanked from the fire hero's grasp. Lucian caught the now-extinguished weapon, speaking.

"In situations like this, we need subtlety. As a swordsman once told me, without subtlety, a sword is but an iron bar. If we kill any of these men without any diplomatic actions, it could cause a political firestorm, pardon the pun. Now, if we approach this in a gentlemanly manner and show them we mean no harm, then we can get out of this with the least bloodshed." He walked briskly past Spitfire, tossing the katana back to him.

Lucian approached the apparent leader of the group, offering his hand. The leader was a man with tanned skin and several scars across his features. Lucian spoke calmly, smiling in a non-threatening manner.

"Hello; my name is Lucian. Now, is there any way we can get out of this without violence?"

Vereor looked at Spitfire.
"What is the point of igniting the blade? Compared to a strike of the blade, the fire deals virtualy no damage. Its just wasting energy."
Vereor didn't wait for an answer, but instead turned to Cat Kid, while slightly sliding his sword out of his sheath with the thumb of his left hand.
"Are we just going to stand here? There is nothing sopping us from advancing. They couldn't take us down if they tried to. We're just wasting time."

OOC: Captain raven575 won't be active this week, due to personal reasons I think, but here's the deal: If either of us are not here, you have full permission to attack the soldiers, destroy pyramids, (etc.). Furthermore, my online time is limited this week, so I figured I get in a good post. So...

IC:

"NOW! GET IN THE PYRAMID!" Flora shouted as she raised her arms up. At once, a great amount of giant cactus-like vines errupted from the desert sands and wrapped themselves around the panicing soldiers. "That was easy." She muttered as she entered the pyramid.

"Hey Flora!" Jester shouted as she ran up to her best friend. "Cat Kid is been quiet for some time now... Ever since we came into the grounds of the tomb, he's been quiet." she continued while pointing to Cat Kid, his eyes were completely black.

"Of course. There is a reason Cat Kid is acting funny in Egypt. Cats were worshipped in Egypt, and just being here is affecting his powers... and mentality, I'd guess. I suppose I am glad for once it was him who became cat, and not me. After all, he is my brother.

"BOINGY-BOINGY!" Jester shouted. "Oops. Sorry 'bout that, Tourretts."

OOC: Keep in mind I may be wrong, and Cr575 may post this week, but I am unsure at the moment.
