IC: Morrison nodded, taking a few moments to do so. After a few more, he looked away from the document, turning back to the diplomat. "Alright, everything looks good."

[Necro]

IC: Morrison nodded, pulling out the pen with which he had signed the document with the Xen. "Indeed. Would you mind signing first as per customs?"

[The Power that I...]

IC: "Do you think there may be more of these objects?" asked the scientist

[Xomeron]

IC:

"Yes, actually." The Syrrinx said. She reached into her cloak with one of her four arms, and pulled out a small necklace, bearing an ornate Amethyst. She put it on around her neck, and a translucent forcefield covered her head. "It'll keep the water out, and transfer vibrations so I can be understood underwater."

IC[Security Escort]: "Good - we must swim the rest of the way to the city."
The Selachii in the front of the group moved into the water, swimming forward with powerful strokes of their tails as the rest of the group started to follow them in.

[Xomeron]

IC:

Smiling, the Syrrinx jumped into the water. Bearing four arms, she could easily keep pace with the shark-Like Selachii.

OOC: Sharks with arms, Xomeron. Sharks with arms.

IC[Security Escort]: The Selachii swam deeper as they got further into the water, with members of the group occasionally snatching fish out of the water and eating them on the go.

[Xomeron]

IC:

For a taste of the cuisine, the Syrrinx snapped a fish up herself, then spat it out almost instantly when she tasted the Cyanide. Highly poisonous, but that was probably the point of evolving Cyanide.

OOC: Don't forget about the Grand Admiral who is currently in your capitol building, with the same kind of field. Let's have them interact.

IC[Security Escort]: A few members of the escort laughed.
"You should probably watch out for that species - we don't mind it ourselves, but we've seen what eating it does to most other stuff that eats it."

OOC: Oh, forgot about him.

IC(42A): "We have recently received communications saying that the Syrrinx have a very interesting proposition for us," a Selachii message-carrier said to the Grand Admiral as he was shown around the city, "It is recommended that you are present to hear it when their representative gets to our Assembly's meeting."

IC: "I will be present on behalf of my planet, and in hopes that we, too, can reach a peaceful allliance" The Grand Admiral explained.

[Xomeron]

IC:

"I think I'll lay off the local cuisine, for now. Do all of the fish here have Cyanide in them?"

IC[Security Escort]: "No, that's the only dangerously toxic species we know of."

[Xomeron]

IC:

The Syrrinx nodded, wondering how long it would be until they reached the capital. Could it be behind that undersea mountain?

IC[Security Escort]: The Selachii angled downward abruptly, swimming powerfully toward the base of the seamount. As they did, a serious of lights lit up at the base, highlighting a deep cave cut into the rock.

IC: Jasik, the Grand Admiral, arrived at the capitol just as the Selachii and Syyrnix were.

[Xomeron]

IC:

The Syrrinx angled downward, after the Selachii. She wondered how a Sentient race had arisen out of water, as it was a rare thing. Perhaps they'd been Pre-Sentient when Man arrived, and they had uplifted them. Answers, at least partial ones, could be found in their religion. Out of the corner of her eye, the Syrrinx saw another Sentient, definitively not Selachii, and wondered who it was. A parallel race?

IC: Entering the assembly, Jasik sat down. He always wondered what speaking to an actual Syrrnix would be like.

IC[Security Escort]: As they swam into the cave, they came up into a series of well-lit chambers, the ceilings covered in a glittering layer of crystals, like a geode. After a while, they came to a chamber that was much larger than the others, and had a terraced floor.
"This," one of the escorts announced, "is where our Assembly meets."

[Necro]

OOC: TNM, I still require your guidance back to 12B. =/

IC: "Very well, if you wish to stay here to study our species due to our alliance, we can clear a room for you in a few minutes."

OOC: I'm sorry. I am focusing on too many things at once. I'll get to you when I can.

[Necro]

OOC: Eh, I'm just resorting to using the maps.

Janis from 42A to 47A.

OOC: Okay, but my character is still on the Janis.

[The Power that I...]

IC: "Xionn colony, we were wondering if you could send us images of the triangular objects all together? Comparison might reveal their purpose."

[Necro]

OOC: Indeed. @ TNM

IC: "I'm afraid at the moment we cannot; our craft just recently picked them up, we've not had a chance to take anything but textual data yet. If you wait a moment though we could."

OOC: Janis from 47A to 50A.

[Xomeron]

OOC: Construction complete on 10 larva in each new system, as well as 1 colonizer each in 2S-7S.
Construction begun on 1 Large cruiser in each system.

IC:

"Magnetism has nothing to do with lasers, electricity alone cannot shatter a crystal. You cannot possibly react faster than the speed of light. Your science is flawed. However, it is unimportant. As I am speaking, we have claimed over half the worlds in our subcluster, and we are in the process of fortifying them. Our worlds will not be taken, those systems are ours. Should you claim them, we will ignore them. Should you try to take them by force, we will destroy your colony ships. We are open to negotiating for the worlds we find non-suitable for Hortla habitation."

[Necro]

IC: "Yes. Give up your land already. You will not be left with none of the new land, but your continuing struggle to retain your greed-soaked gains are preventing the arbitration of this issue and are not making you very favourable to any of us."
