Remember when GregF said that Tahu really HAD been kranaed, but that we would just have to use our imaginations as to how it happened? Well, I did, and this is what I came up with -- a little 2-page comic.

Oh, no, MNH and KX, now I have to rewrite the whole thing!  Hehe, actually, Gali never says exactly what KIND of love she is talking about. Could be brotherly love, for all I know. But she got his attention, anyway!dhik, this is how I did it. First, I sketched out the general idea, and who says what in each frame. Then, I drew everything in pencil, using Tahu, Gali, and a Tahnok for models (they are all in boring poses that the toys can really do). Then, I drew over the pencil lines in ink. I scanned the ink drawings and added the color and text on the computer with Adobe PhotoDeluxe (little freebie image editing program that came with my printer). I added a transparent layer for the glow around the firesword, eyes, etc. I pasted in scans of the LEGO and Bionicle logos. And then I saved it as a .jpg file. It did take a while, but I had lots of time to kill, with no BZP forums to play in.

You're a good artist! What kind of pen did you use to draw that? Cuz I need one like that! BTW can you draw a picture of Yotanua for me? I'd like it to be of him holding a huge boulder above his head, preparing to throw it at a Pahrak (left), Tahnok (middle), and Lehvak (right), all standing next to each other (make only the top part of them showing like in the first comic picture at the top). Make him be a regular Toa, not Toa Nuva. Make his eyes be glowing too.

good, very good, but ihave found two flaws, one i can tell you shouldn't be there, the oher one is up to you
1.near the end, in the panel with the tahnok fighting each other and gali and tahu are talking, gali is wearing a matatu 2.i think there is something wrong with the setting, if you look in the back of bohrok instructions, you will see snapshots ofg tahu against a tahnok, and the tahnok grabs his mask and puts a krana on tahu, and the background appears to be in the bohrok nest, perhaps in comic 6-7? That's great! A nice story to go along with it too. The pictures are really good! I know I've tried uncountable times to draw Bionicle characters- the results are demented robots with weird faces. Great job!

Incredible Galigee! I've come to expect good things from your Epics, your Comedies, and of course your pictures, but I think you caught us all off guard with this comic! the art is simply beautiful, the plot is unexpected, the little bits of Comedy and seriousness combined make this another Masterpiece, and of course finally the way that you agree if Gali loved another Toa there would be an unbalance, Simply put this could have been released for $5 and I would've had no problem buying it

That is really clever GG. nice artwork all round, with vibrant colours, great use of technology and a lot of effort put into it. It also has humour in it, with the GG symbol and the ending. If I was an art teacher I'd give it 10/10!

OK, for the questions... About the background, Bio-Overlord is correct, all the LEGO pictures of Tahu kranaed show him somewhere that could be the nest, or more probably (IMHO) Ta-Koro. But for my plot to work, I needed it to be on a beach so Gali could come from and return to the water. This is supposed to be the beach next to Ta-Koro. So just imagine that if you were to turn around, you would see rock glowing with the reflection of the lava. Domon, it's true, the Toa (except for a few little hatch-marks around their feet) aren't really integrated into the background. One thing that makes the REAL Bionicle comics so cool is the variety and boldness of the backgrounds. If I ever make another comic (this is my first one, btw), I may try to do more with that.aibotoa, that's supposed to be a Matatu on Gali on page 2. If I were to do it over again, I would draw the whole thing bigger, like the real comic artists do, and reduce it -- that gives you a lot better detail (this was on a 9x12 piece of drawing paper, reduced slightly to 7.5x10). Bio-Overlord, your question about the Matatu was nicely answered by Spirit of Ice. Gali is using it to knock one Tahnok into the others. She just invented Bohrok Bowling! GaliCat, I hope you dig your claws into it, and make one, too. Never be afraid to try a new thing, I just did, and it was really fun! The Toa of the Cans, I used Adobe PhotoDeluxe (retail $75, free with my printer). It's pretty limited, but it can do layers and transparency, which was the only real trick I used. The rest is just painting between the lines of the black-and-white scan with the Color Change tool (like the paint bucket in some programs). More details are in my post on page 1 of this topic. YToT, you gotta speak to my agent, he's the big guy in the corner with the black Pakari. if you weren't such a good pal, I would say you are presuming a lot!  Pens -- I used Faber Castell India Ink Drawing Pens, they come in a set of four, with superfine, fine, medium, and brush tips. I used the superfine for everything except the bold outlines of each character, for that I used the fine tip. The set cost about $5 at Wal*Mart. And yes, Israeli Toa, Janus, I'll never have guts enough to ask Gali what she really meant, so you can assume what you want.  Just imagine...
