I've noticed alot of favorite Set Topics, and It's about time to create something official. Post your Favorite Set here, but don't get into a discussion over one set, or make useless posts like "Ya Me too".

You Must not only post your favorite set, but why. If not then your post will be deleted.

-KK

By the way my favorite set is the Kopaka Collection... I just love white pieces.

The Bohrok!! Oh wait! no, that’s not right.
I must actually say the set that I like the most is Muaka and Kane Ra, they were my first Rahi and the construction was top notch and brilliantly though out. Not to mention the attack power that those two have, they simply can maul a toa to death.

I think my favorite set has been the Boxor. It was actually fun to build, has some nice action, is easy to customize, and looks soooo good! Try mixing some colored parts out of Bohrok to give special-action boxors to your other Tohunga!

Second fave has to be Kopaka Nuva... Ice skate swords rock, and they finally have a shield that looks like it could protect someone!

I just love the Manas! To me they are really fun to play with because you can duel both of them by yourself without one hand having the advantage. Also, the yellow one has my favorite masks on it.

Man....KK stumped me.

*Thinks hard*

I'd have to say that my fave Bionicle set has to be Lewa Nuva. I mean...the EXO is big and cool...and Manas have the whole RC thing....but Lewa Nuva's swords are SOOO cool.

Plus, Lewa Nuva's small. That means you can quickly pose him and do all kinds of stuff when you play with him.

Second fave is easily Tarakava...because with two people..it can be REAL fun!

edited june 7, 2003:
Well my last post was pretty old, it wasn't even blue. So I figured I'd update it.
My favorite set had got to be the Rahkshi. Even though I don't have any yet, they just seem so perfect. Bending knees, cool weapons, trans-orange joint in the head, it doesn't get much cooler.

Okay, it would be cooler if mine would come in the mail soon... lol it's only been a week!

(rcxmaster thinks hard) I would have to say my favorite set is... (jeopardy song playing) ...POHATU NUVA! (which is why I don't like the name of Tor... uh... T-Hybrid's new rank) So far, my favorite of every different "species" (I.E. matoran, turaga, toa, rahi, ect.)has been the air one, the green one, blah, blah, blah, then come the toa nuva. Pohatu Nuva rocks(no pun intended)! I really love the claws, the silver "toes" are awesome, and I adore the Kakama Nuva. I actually got an extra in a kanohi nuva mask pack and painted it silver. Second favorite would be the original mask packs. Variety! Colorful! Noble AND Great masks! Toa heads galore(which was handy when I left Gali Nuva's head on a lamp and it melted)!

I'd have to say my favorite sets are the original Pohatu and Onua.

Pohatu was the first Bionicle item I bought. The initial reason was that I thought he looked cool, and big Lego fan me wanted to find out how the faces (didn't know they were masks) worked.

Wait - I must explain something. Whenever I see something that interests me, I buy either one or two. If I only buy one, the thought of having a second one, which would make it so much more fun, is so maddening that I always end up with two anyway. Usually it's not so much fun, and the interest dies off. But occasionally it gets worse and I start piling up stuff. This does not happen very often, but has led to many things that shape me as a person (like Gundam).

But unlike many other things, the lone Pohatu was absolutely fascinating, and I found myself unable to put him down. Simply because this one Toa was such a great toy, I got Onua at the first chance I had. Then I started looking for information on Bionicle, and before long I was hooked. At this point in time I own a (rather large) suitcase full of Bionicle sets.

That is why they're my favorites. They were so cool, I felt that mine would be a deprived life if I did not have more.

I was once told that I am wordy. huh.gif I fail to comprehend how a person could label me as "wordy."

My favorite set is Matau. I love his weapon and, though blue is my favorite color, I think his lime green masks are the coolest color. Also, this was the first Turuga I got, after getting Lewa, who is my favorite Toa. But only a little bit more than the others, because he is the first one I got. All in all, my favorite set is item number 8541: Matau

This is tough but here's my list.

Favorite Non Bionicle set: Cyber Slammers (Cyberslam 97-99)
Why: The action is great. These things look flippin awesome and the figurines are just sweet. There's no reason not to like 'em!

Favorite Bionicle set: Tie between Boxor and Kopaka
Why: The boxer is one of the few new sets I've actually had to use the instructions for it's perfect intricate motions. Kopaka's sword is kick a-- and his sheild looks coo.

I would say all the Toa Olda because they were original and not too easy or too hard to build. The finoished models looked fantastic and like the warriors they were meant to be. I liked the Nuva sets as much, but they weren't as original.

I don't really have an altime favorite, but If I had to chose It would be the Manas,
mostly because they are remote controlled, but also because of the way they look and because of those claws, they are so cool biggrin.gif

4. There is no 4
5. The boxing is so cool cool.gif
6. You tell me
7. The dark grey feet I needed
8. Parts
9. The set that I bought with my own money! laugh.gif
10. Because I said so.

My favorites are
Pohatu olda and nuva
Because they are so much different than all the other toa, assembly, shape, etc..
AND the boxor because it comes with an orange pakari olda, and THE matoran that invented Boxors.

Hard to say... I think I'll have to go with my Belgian co-member here: Matoran. They're just tiny, funny-looking, rare (so far) and I prefer them as heroes instead of the Toa. Must be the MNOLG influence.
The Toa came close, as they're cool, even just to look at.

hhhhmmmmmmm.......

this is a hard one.

fave toa:Lewa. I just love the miru, it looks so fast and stylish.....and also his ax is great and he just looks great.

fave turaga:Nuju. He reminds me of the wizard gandalf, with his grey mask and he just looks as if he's the wisest turaga.

fave rahi:Manas. the RC control is excelent and they come with rare masks.

fave bohrok:Gahlok. Sorta pointless saying this, it's just like saying "my fave colour is blue!" his (or her) handsheild is the best looking as well.

fave va:Nuhvok Va. i love the onua claws on this guy! he realy looks as if he can hurt the toa with his claws!

fave summer2002 set:Bahrag. They look sooooo ace! the jaws and the little arms! oohh......

fave nuva:Kopaka Nuva. Sadly lewa fell down the ugly tree on his way to becoming nuva and hit every branch on the way down. however Kopaka improved, his new lance and big sheild realy make him look like a warrior.

fave kal:Gahlok kal. Silver + Blue = ace. I love the reptilian design, and the fact that theres no light blue, which is what bugged me about gali nuva (+ her new mask)

Fave set overall...........bahrag. i just love those teeth!

I'd have to say Pohatu (Can you have favorite sets you don't own, then definatly Huki!)

He's almost better than his Nuva!

Off topic - Kaita Kohika ohmy.gif did you build that yourself or did Lego do it?, It's awesome!
