MOC capibaliy: gee these are good for MOC's A++
Play capibily: A Fun but umm needs a little extra
Estimated Building time: 5 minutes

I will review Nui Jaga:

Box:

Not much here just a regular old fasioned Rahi Box

Pecies:

Well I can't really determine all of the good peceices so i won't go into that. The good thing here is that it Comes with two light blue pakaris meaning you can build Takua (If you have Jala Of course)

Building experience:

Building the Purple one was great. But then when I built the Blue one it got boring because they are the exact same

Playing with:

Here is the Part I like. Since you have a Gun trigger motion that lets the Tail whip Forward you get alot of power (Contray to the lever desing on the Nui-Rama)

To Fight the Nui Jaga together is a Great deal of Fun!. Me and my Girlfreind will Try and knock each others masks of. And the fact that its a Whip scorpion tail desing that means it has any range of attack (Contray to the Manas whitch only can fight each other)

over all I give it a B+

ok Ive done my part some one post a review of the Tarakava Nui!

MY REVIEW ON ALL THE SIX BOHROK KAL

CANS: they are like the bohrok ones but different pic and stuff but an annoying error is in the can tops the bhrok hodler thing doesent stay as it should be it doesent have a thing that it would stay in the right direction!

DESING: well almost almost like the normal bohrok but the faceplates are really nice to watch closely and the weapons are very cool expecially kohrak kals

PLAYABILITY: well if you have them all its really nice to make them like try to catch matoran or something and theyr powers are very cool too so it makes them more better and i like to take funny pics of them

they get a 9.9/10 from me if they wouldnt be almost repainted bohrok i would give them 10/10 but they are very cool so everyone should get them

Pohatu is a cool lookin' guy, even if the room between his legs are so big that he could give a birth lol.

The can pic is fuzzy literly. And if you hold him up his leg goes like lewa's swing-arm ya know!

9.5/10 coz the cool look. and a mask.

My mom just bought me a kohrok-kal because I finished all of my FCATs. I'm ready to post my first reveiw on it.

THE BOX

The box gives a good veiw of Kohrok-kal, which means that someone that passes by couldn't resist picking up the box and reading the small text.9/10

THE PARTS

The only new parts are the silver handshields, but there are about six new colerd parts.8/10

BUILDING

If you've gotten the origional bohrok, then builing this set is a piece of cake.(yum!) But if is your first time buying a bionicle, then some steps could get a little cofusing.6/10

THE MODEL

Once built, you then realy see what the whole set is all about.I persinoly think tat the blue eyes go well with the white and silver. The ball mode is cool, too.10/10

I'll try a K-Kal and N-Kal review:

Many people thought that the B-Kal weren't that good due to their design being identical to that of the Bohrok, but I do advise you to get them, as they widen the scope for MOC'ing, and we could be seeing quite a few protodermic MOCs. Unfortunately, the plus-rods we've been looking forward to are not silver, but grey.

The mini-CD does have quite a bit of info on it, which will benefit those who don't have internet access, and they have more info on them, so that makes the Kal more worth getting. They're also not absolutely identical, unlike the others, again making the Kal more worth getting.

The toy itself looks good, and the colour schemes are pretty nice. I wasn't impressed with the fact that they're all the same, and they could have at least have features to make them look better suited to their appropriate Wahi. Nothing new except the colours and handshields, and I'd rather spend £30 on 2 Rahkshi and the Takanuva when they're released.

Kahu review rating: C

First of all, I would like to say how happy I am with the color scheme. It's a great mix, even for Kohrak Kal.

There are many pros and cons to the Bohrok Kal. The new handsheilds are a definite pro. However, they lack ingenuity because they have the exact same design as the original Bohrok. I am, however, loving the new "hidden krana" thing. The clear headplates were awesome, but there's something about silver.

Overall, the Bohrok Kal are great sets. Not the best we've seen, or will see. My predictions are that the Rahkshi will blow us away not only in style but in building techniques. I am also hoping that if there is a Rahkshi Kaita, that it will be much nicer than the Bohrok Kal Kaita.

Here are my Bohrok Kal awards:

Best Handshield: Kohrak Kal. The whole retro finger deal is just too cool!
Worst Handshield: Nuhvok Kal. I like Nuhvok Kal's, but it isn't comparable to better ones, such as Pahrak Kal and Kohrak Kal.
Best Color Scheme: Tahnok Kal. The Silver/red is a great combo, although Silver/black on Nuhvok Kal is still cool.
Worst Color Scheme: Gahlok Kal. I actually like Gahlok Kal's color scheme, but like Nuhvok Kal's, it isn't up to par with the rest.
Best Krana Kal Color: Pahrak Kal. I love the iron grey color. I think it's the best one of them all.
Worst Krana Kal Color: Lehvak Kal. It looks better in pictures. In reality, it is an ugly puke green.

I would have to give the award for best Bohrok Kal to Pahrak Kal, because the original Pahrak was always a big hit with me. I love the new handshields, the color scheme, and especially the iron grey Krana Kal.

I'm doing a review for the toa.

Onua:
MASK: Awsome! Great for his looks though it looks kinda evil. But Strength is like unbeatable!
TOOL: Sweet, but can't do much considering they are very weak.
Features: Can=normal like the rest of the toa. body=short, hunchback and very evil looking.
B+

Gali:
Mask: Not much to say here. useful when she is in her homeland, not useful when she will go on a mission. See-through, I like that.
Tool: Hooks are so good! they just hook on to something and they rip it off. The backfire is the hooks can fall off.
Features: No chestball, just a shoulder piece. nothing much.
A-

Lewa:
Mask: looks like a smily face except it has a sweet power, the ability to fly!
Tool: It is the most powerfull weapon, and it is sweet looking. But I don't get the other arm, a loose hand????
Features: Normal, and nothing special exept his left arm is very loose looking.
A-

Kopaka:
Mask: Cool looking, cool power. Usefull most of the time, except when their is nothing to see.
Tool: Sword and sheild, very knight like. except the sheild is not very movable.
Features: Ice white. Boring and nothing new except the weapons.
A

Pohatu:
Mask: Sweet, it's the best looking and the best power! no need to battle, Pohatu can just run away biggrin.gif
Tool: Though pohatu is my favourite set, he's got a weird but very useful weapon. Kicking. It adds to his speed and he can jump so it makes no difference if it's low.
Features: Way different, tool way down, different head design, and sweet speed.
A

Tahu:
Mask: He's got a really big mouth on his mask and it does a good job protecting him.
Tool: Good looking, though it's weak and can be bent easily.
Features: the most normal. bored.gif bored.gif bored.gif bored.gif bored.gif
B

Next time i'll do Turaga. smile.gif

Will someone please review the exo-toa coz i'm planing to buy it and i want a review first to decide whether to buy exo or boxor.

OK, comparison between the Boxor and the Exo-Toa.

The Packaging

Though this isn't particularly important, I have to mention the cool piccies on the Exo's box. The shadowy pics look way cool, and way back when it came out, it even hinted on Nuva. The Boxor, on the other hand, is a bit plain.

The Contents

The Boxor is slightly odd, in that it has a manual for it's alternate form seperately. There's nothing new in the Boxor, though it does contain a matoran, which is a great thing. Also, the Boxor contains a kanohi, the Exo doesn't. The Exo has a whole host of silver bits, if you're a silver fanatic, this is heaven. Also some dark grey click joints, and silver Pahrak shield sweeten the mix.

Building

For an experienced moddeller the Boxor is not going to last any more than an hour, though it's an hour of new building techniques and brilliant gearing systems that harks back to the time before ball joints. The Exo has a longer building experience, with an obvious downside, the legs are identical, and that makes 'em a bit redundant. Building the torso is fun, and anyone who built it without repeatedly twiddling the mechanism back and forth deseves a medal.

Play

As has been said before, the Boxor's play feature is brilliant. It has an opening cockpit for Nuparu, but that's of little interest. The brilliance of the set is the punching mechanism. Pushing down on one side of the Boxor causes the corresponding arm to punch. Push both sides and it double punches. The motion is very fluid, and the hooks are positioned so that they can pull open a bohrok headshield quite easily. The Exo has a brilliant concept, though nothing too remarkable. The pure coolness of a Toa in a shining, muscular armour suit is just awesome, though it's a bit of a struggle to fit Nuva in it. Also, Pohatu and Onua won't go at all, and Nuva must remove their armour. The springy claw is cool, and reminiscent of Muaka and Kane-ra, and the missile launcher is a blast. (Sorry, couldn't resist.)

All in all, it's a very fine balance, but I'm going to have to say go with the Boxor, it's cheaper, and it has a matoran in it.

ok, this is my upmost review on the exotoa..

color: very nice, silver and black w/ a tad of orange, very mechanical and protodermic..

Weapons: that is a cool gun, the first on on mata nui, and the claw action is cool, but i wish it went all the way out and back in like the kane-ra's neck. Also, the gun can fire into your eye! (It hurts like mess)

Fitting of toa: its not bad,, a bit tight, but that can be good, and the little groove that goes in the toa's... umm... buttox helps it stay in place...

Price vs. worth: well, this set cost me $35, so its not a bad value, personally i would've bought it for $28 or so, but if lego wants money, and who doesn't? its ok.

Pieces: well this set has some new pieces including the pahrak silver handshield, and it includes a black arm, the only other set w/ one is the nui-jaga (I don't have), so it good. Aso, the all black bohrok faceplate is nice, good for all kinda mocs.

Other: the joints on the arms are a bit loose cause of the gun's weight, but it has good posability, and i like that, so its acceptable.. oh, also the thing that onua and pohatu cant go in is a drag..

OVERAL GRADE: bum bum bum... i give it an A-, or 93, cause its a good set, w/ some drawbacks, but i like it. It should be modified, or come w/ instructioins to change it for pohatu and onua, but its cool ntl, and wil be prized i my collection, along w/ cahddok and gahdok..

Ok, turaga review.

Vakama: Somewhat normal, but a neat staff, too bad it had to be copied by Tahnok va. Mask is really useful, thogh it's hard to find, making it rare and good!
A-

Onewa: Tall boy. Unlike pohatu, onewa is the tallest of his type.
his weapon probably does the big hit of the turaga. his mask is the coolest, mind control! it's the long arms that bug me!
A

Nuju: Unfourtunatly he is badly made, the weapon is weak, and his mask is ugly, but it does a whole lot of telekinises stuff.
B

Matau: Good god you are ugly! Matau's mask is somewhat usefull but he is so UGLY!! and his weapon doesn't do a whole lot either.
B

Nokama: the most useless, Weapon useless unless a rahi attacks, mask, unless you run into ancient symbols every day, not useful.
C+

Whenua: For some reason, the earth guys are always short. But his drill is cool if it weren't upside-down. And the mask looks realy neat but like Nokama's, it doesn't do to much.
B

Next time i'll do rahi! l.gif e.gif e.gif m.gif e.gif mellow.gif

BAHRAG REVIEW:

Design:

I really love the design of these two! They look a lot like Tyrannosaurs, and they look just like Bohrok queens should do.The best part on them are the head design wich most fans fell in love with. The building experience is good and they are really fun to play with. The attack is cool and resembles Muaka & Kane-Ra`s attack a little, plus the Bohrok`s.They are one of the best designed sets released, and they take some time to build. They look very much like eachother, only difference are the head gear wich are two flippers on Cahdok and two pipes on Gahdok. They use Bohrok teeth for claws, with two claws on each hand.Articulation is good too.The alternative model resembles a big spider creature, that looks like a daddy long legs on steroids. But cool nonetheless. 10/10

Color:

Cahdok is red, grey with grey eyeplates and green eyes,Gahdok is blue, grey with black eyeplates and green eyes.Nice! 10/10

Role in storyline:

They play a big and cool part in the Bohrok saga as they are the masters and creators of the Bohrok and Krana! And they have all the powers of the original Bohrok each, wich makes them even cooler and more powerful.Every fan should own them. 10/10

Overall

This is my favorite set! It's a really good set,and definitly one of the best bionicle sets.It certainly ranks with the big ones.10/10 is my final score for them. Are they worth buying?Yes!

BOHROK REVIEWS:

PAHRAK:

Design:

When I first saw the Bohrok i fell in love! The design is really cool and In my humble opinion much better than the Toa.The Bohrok are made by very few pieces and most of the pieces are newly designed for just them. They look very cool with their fangs and awesome evil looking eyes. The building experience is good even if they are easy to build, and the final result is fabolus!Playability is good and isnt made worse by the Krana wich attaches to the face of a toa/turaga/matoran,plus they can roll into a ball!Pahraks handshields (wich by the way are the only other thing than the color that differs him from the other Bohrok) are very cool looking. 10/10

Color:

Pahrak is brown and tan with green eyes and Krana.Really, really cool! 10/10

Role in storyline:

Just as the other Bohrok,Pahrak play a very big role in the storyline as they evolved the story into what it is now.Pahrak is the Bohrok of stone. 10/10

Overall:

A cool set that every fan has the money to buy. 10/10

NUHVOK:

Design:

Nuhvoks handshields look very cool and well thought out, other than that the design is the same as on every Bohrok, but it doesnt matter since the design is so beautiful. 10/10

Color:

Nuhvok is black, dark grey with light green eyes and Krana. 10/10

Role in Storyline:

Nuhvok didnt have a too big role in the storyline and we never got to see the Va counterpart. But just as the other Bohrok they evolved the storyline.Nuhvok is the Bohrok of earth. 10/10

Overall:

A really cool set that even looks better together with the black parts than the others. And the price is low enough for every fan to buy it.

GAHLOK:

Design:

Same as on every Bohrok, but the handshields rock! They look alot like frog feet. 10/10

Color:

Gahlok is blue and light blue with orange eyes and Krana. Not bad! 10/10

Role in storyline:

Gahlok is one the Bohrok that has the biggest role, they are the reason for the boxor and introduction of Nuparu!Gahlok is the Bohrok of water. 10/10

Overall:

This is one mean Bohrok! You are going to love this!Definitly worth to buy. 10/10

TAHNOK:

Design:

This is my favorite Bohrok for two reasons:1.The handshields are awesome,2.The red guys are the coolest in my opinion. The handshields look very cool and I must say Bohrok parts look best in red! 10/10

Color:

Tahnok is red and orange with blue eyes and Krana.A really kick-butt color scheme if you ask me! 10/10

Role in storyline:

The Tahnok play a fairly big part i the storyline, plus they are the most hot tempered.Cant go wrong with a agressive villain!Tahnok is the Bohrok of fire. 10/10

Overall:

This is my favorite Bohrok, and the one to buy if you only will get one Bohrok. The color scheme kicks and they are the main Bohrok just as everything other red. This toy only has goods, buy it! 10/10

LEHVAK:

Design:

Lehvak has some cool claws, and is designed just as the other Bohrok for the rest.Awesome as always! 10/10

Color:

The most evil looking Bohrok thanks to the red eyes and Krana together with green and light green parts. 10/10

Role in storyline:

Lehvak play a fairly big role in the story just as the other Bohrok. Was the Bohrok that we saw in the and at the Mata-Nui Onlinegame.Lehvak is my favorite Bohrok after Tahnok because it's the only Bohrok that has a different power than its Toa counterpart.Lehvak is the Bohrok of acid. 10/10

Overall:

This is a cool Bohrok that you definitly should buy! 10/10

KOHRAK:

Design:

Same as every Bohrok.Handshields are two very cool looking saws!

Color:

The only Bohrok with the same color scheme as its Toa counterpart.Kohrak is white and grey with light blue eyes and Krana.Looks really cool! 10/10

Role in storyline:

Kohrak plays a big role in the storyline as every Bohrok.Kohrak is the Bohrok of ice.

Overall:

A cool set that's worth to buy. 10/10

BOHROK-KAL REVIEWS:

NUHVOK-KAL:

Design:

First off,I want to say that all the people who hates the Kal are just stupid.A lego set is always worth buying,If you dont like it use it for mocs!If you like it build it into its right form like me.The design of the Kal are the same as the Bohrok wich means,It's cool!Nuhvok-Kals handshields look a bit strange but not bad by any meaning. 10/10

Color:

The Bohrok-Kal have a very nice color. With some awfully nice pattern on their headshields. And their limbs are colored the same way as their bodies this time.Nuhvok-Kal is black and silver with light green eyes and the copper Krana-Kal. 10/10

Role in storyline:

The Kals role in the storyline is to free the Bahrag from their protodermis cage. The Kal are six Bohrok mutated by the Bahrag.Nuhvok-Kal is the Bohrok-Kal of gravity. This is a awesome thing by lego! Finally we got some new powers instead of the old ones.Lego deserves extra points for this! 10/10

Overall:

Nuhvok-Kal is a nice set that you just have buy if you are a Bohrok fan!Another cool thing is that there are 72 steerling silver Krana-Kal and 50,000 White Metal Krana-Kal randomly packed in Kal canisters. Those are only possible to find if you live the US or UK. 10/10

TAHNOK-KAL:

Design:

As the other Bohrok-Kal.Handshield are awesome! Some of the coolest. 10/10

Color:

Tahnok-Kal is red and silver with blue eyes and bronze Krana-Kal.Great! 10/10

Role in storyline:

Tahnok-Kals role is as the other Kal to free the Bahrag.Tahnok-Kal is the one that often acts as the leader for the group.Tahnok-Kal is the Bohrok-Kal. 10/10

Overall:

Tahnok-Kal is THE Bohrok-Kal to get if you just want to get one! He's just so cool, and I love the red characters! 10/10

KOHRAK-KAL:

Design:

Man!look at these handshields!Have you ever seen something this cool? They resembles fingers a little bit and makes Kohrak-Kal look so cool! The rest of him is as the other Kal. 10/10

Color:

TOA REVIEWS:

POHATU:

Design:

Pohatu is really different from the other Toa at this standpoint. His torso is upside down for his kick feature to work better.I like this because it makes him more different than the others. 10/10

Color:

Pohatu is brown and tan with orange eyes. 10/10

Role in storyline:

Is one of the six heros. Therefore he plays a major role in the storyline.Pohatu is the Toa of stone. And with his mask,Kakama the great mask of speed he can run fast! His weapon is some sort of super toes that attach to his feet when you build him and then makes his feet bigger. 10/10

Overall:

Pohatu is really lovely,he's different than the other Toa plus,he's the only one that comes with an extra!A koli ball! 10/10

ONUA:

Design:

This guy is really, really cool!He was the first Toa I got, because I thought he was the coolest. He is also the Toa that got me into Bionicle. He's the only Toa besides Gali that has the legs upside down. His head is not as high up as the other Toa wich makes him look hunchbacked.I suppose it is because a long neck wouldnt be to good when you spend the most of the day under the ground digging. His mask is the Kanohi Pakari the great mask of strength. His weapon are his claws wich are very cool! 10/10

Color:

Onua is black and darkgrey with green eyes. 10/10

Role in storyline:

Onua is one of the six Toa the main characters in Bionicle.Onua is the Toa of earth. 10/10

Overall:

Awesome character and Toy. 10/10

GALI:

Design:

Gali is very well designed, and I like her Kanohi Kaukau. The great mask that allows the user to breath underwater. Her weapons are two claws she uses to climb walls and hold onto rocks underwater. 10/10

Color:

Gali is blue and lightblue with yellow eyes. 10/10

Role in storyline:

Gali is the Toa of Water. And the only Toa that's female, she's also the wisest of the Toa. 10/10

Overall:

Gali is a cool toy and one of the few female characters,so buy her. 10/10

TAHU:

Design:

Yes!This is how it's supposed to be!Cool design on his mask,Kanohi Hau,the great mask of shielding. And everything on his design is cool! 10/10

Color:

Tahu is red and orange with pink eyes. 10/10

Role in storyline:

Tahu is the most hot-headed of the Toa.And often acts as the leader.Tahu is the Toa of fire. 10/10

Overall:

A really "hot" hehe, toy tha you just need to buy. 10/10

LEWA:

Design:

Lewa is good designed like the other Toa,but his left arm is loose and not poseable. His mask is the extremely cool Kanohi Miru, the great mask of levitation.I like his axe. 9,5/10

Color:

Lewa is green and light green with light green eyes. 10/10

Role in storyline:

Lewa is the Toa of air,and is the most unshelfish one too, since he helps other rather than help himself. 10/10

Overall:

I like Lewa and he is definitly worth buying. The only complain I have is his loose arm. 9,5/10

KOPAKA:

Design:

Kopaka is greatly designed, and as the other Toa easy to build. His mask Kanohi Akaku the great mask of X-ray and his sword are both greatly designed. 10/10

Color:

Kopaka is white and light grey with light blue eyes.Kopaka is uniqe that way because he's the only Toa with arms and legs darker than the body. 10/10

Role in storyline:

Kopaka is the Toa of ice.And he prefers to work alone. 10/10

Overall:

Kopaka is great just as the other Toa.And differs from the other in many ways. 10/10

my personal manas review starts..........now:
i give them a 8/10. i like them because of the fact that they are remote control, which is great because you don't have to make rules when fighting like"HEY! muaka can't fly!" or"HEY! tarakava can't fly!" which is a big problem, with these, you just push the buttons and hope for the best. i also like how they come with one mask that is exclusive to that set and how it comes with a mask that came in the mask packs, so when you buy them you automatically have vakamas ruru. i don't like how they are expensive, but that doesn't affect me since mine were a gift, and how it's dang near impossible to actually knock the masks off, they need more power and need to be at a better angle, but you gots to love that zero degree turning radius, it's fun to get a bunch of them together and set the control to "all" and start watching them go in circles. that's all i got to say 'bout these big crabs, so buh bai...for now

Okies, slightly odd Bohrok review.

This is how it works, i'll review the bohrok as a single set, as they're all identical, then i'll dish out a few awards like best colour scheme, you'll soon understand.

Packaging

Woo! Functional packaging! The way you can suspend a Bohrok within t's can makes it really cool, miles better than boxes. The only thing that makes it a lil' dissapointing is the absence of any way to display krana.

Building

When you build one, you've built them all! Seriously, the design gets redundant fast, it takes maybe ten minutes first time round, and the only reason they don't get really boring is the fact you can make them so quick.

Parts

Some cool things here: Handshields, can't get enough of them! Decorative, or as weapons. Annoying toothed bars and levers, fairly useless. Bohrok teeth are cool little decorative bits that can also helm hold a model together. Bohrok eyes, the ultimate decorative part. You can even thread them on a string and call it a necklace, trans-coloured parts rule! The limbs are a little awkward as they are right angled. The body parts are a bit useless, but the head pieces are helpful in larger constructions for mecha etc. Any other part is not particularly useful, so I won't mention them.

Play

This is were Bohrok come into their own! They have cool head snapping actions that work brilliantly for their size, they can throw krana when you push on their eyes, and they roll into balls! Great stuff here.

The Collectable

It has to be said, krana will never beat kanohi. They just don't have the variety of design. Storyline wise, however, they've got some awesome powers, and the wide range of colours is great.

Overall, 7/10. It really should be higher, but the design is just too redundant.

Okies, I suppose if you were to only buy one Bohrok, you'd want to know which is better, so here are some... er... awards...

Best Colour Scheme: Nuhvok. It's black. Nuff said.
Best Eye Colour: Nuhvok. These are all cool and bright!
Best Handsheild: Pahrak. Really well bulked out, and available in a variety of colour!
Best Krana: Pahrak. Dark green is cool, try for a Za!

My reviews of the Rahi:

Nui-Rama
General
Well, it is the cheapest Rahi. In fact, they can be found for 10 U.S. dollars these days (if you can find them at all). The orange Rahi is my personal favorite of the two, as that awful green can be hard on the eyes. Another point in this set's favor is that its alternate model is one of only two alt models to be seen in the MNOLG.

Pieces
About average as parts go, although there are a good assortment of Bionicle specific pieces. Color is where this set shines. Black Toa heads & arms, lime green Onua claws, orange Gali hook, and everybody's favorite, the trans-blue Ruru!. (Hey, that rhymes!)

Features
As has been said elsewhere, the attack on this set is a little weak. It does look like the buzzing of an insect's wings, though. One thing I don't like about this set is that the green Rama's teeth (for lack of a better term) serve to hold it's masks on, putting the orange Rama at a disadvantage if you like to battle.

Overall
I think the best thing about this set is its very creative use of masks. The alt model looks cool, but uses the exact same mechanism as the main models. I give the Nui-Rama a 6.5 out of 10.

Nui-Jaga
General
Basically, it's just another Rahi as far as looks go. There's absolutely no distinction between the two, except for coloration. You can build both with the instructions for one with no adjustment. The Pakari does work well in this model. (And in fact, all the Rahi have good choices for masks, in my opinion.) I really like the Kahu alternate model. For one thing, it's by far the most original of the Rahi alt models. All the others just look like bulked-up versions of the main model. I also like the fact that a Matoran can ride it, a la the MNOLG. The alt model does have a somewhat hollow look to it, though.

Pieces
This does make a good parts set. Twelve black Toa arms! This is one of only two sets to have those, the other is the Exo-Toa, which has one. Other pieces of note are the Pakari (which can be used to customise a Takua), the steering gear racks, white Onua claws, and the pieces used as stingers.

Features
These Rahi do have a nice attack. The downward motion of the stinger means you can knock a mask off of just about anything from a Matoran to Muaka. I don't much care for the fact that the rear feet don't touch the ground, but that can be fixed easily.

Overall
The sameness of the two Nui-Jaga is easily offset by the creativity of the Kahu alternate model, the unique pieces are a plus, and I do like the attack motion. I give the Nui-Jaga a 7 out of 10.

Tarakava
General
This is definitely the least animal-looking of the Rahi sets. Lego says they're supposed to be lizard-like creatures, but you could have fooled me. I do like the color scheme. The Tarakava aren't garish like the Nui-Rama, but they're not pastel like the Nui-Jaga. When was the last time you saw a purple scorpion? The colors befit creatures that spend most of their time in and around the water.

Pieces
This is very possibly the best Rahi set for parts. 4 balls, a teal Kakama, white Gali hooks and Onua claw, six small shock absorbers in three colors, and the only teal Toa feet to be found anywhere.

Features
These lizards are loaded. First off, they are the only Rahi with a dual attack, allowing you to feint, or block with one hand as you jab with the other. The aforementioned shock absorbers allow you to flex the Tarakava and get a low blow in, or rear up to protect your Rahi's mask. The nose drops, making it easier to knock off the mask. There's also a nice little "kickstand" just behind the treads that can be dropped to keep the Rahi from falling over when not in use.

Overall
This set was the last Rahi I bought, but it has become one of my favorite to play with. Loaded with features, attractive colors, and a nice assortment of parts. Sure it doesn't look much like a lizard, but it still looks cool. For what you pay, possibly the best Rahi set. I give it 8.5 out of 10.

Muaka & Kane-Ra
General
These two guys are possibly the most fearsome-looking Rahi of the bunch, and that includes the Manas. The attack mechanism (which I'll talk about in greater detail later) is very cool. The two of them look a little incomplete aft of the shoulders, though. This is also the only Rahi set to include an infected Hau.

Pieces
As Bionicle specific pieces go, this set is fairly light, especially for its size. It does have 6 Gali hooks in two colors (4 yellow, 2 red), 4 dark grey Toa heads, 2 black Huna (the only set these are available in), and the aforementioned infected Hau. There are also a number of ridged pipes in various colors and lengths.

Features
As I said earlier, the attack function is tres cool. The jaws open as the neck extends, then a lever in the neck snaps them shut as it extends fully. These are also the only Rahi to have a variation on the "knock the masks off to defeat the enemy" concept. The heads to which the masks are attached are at the end of rods that cause the arms to fall off when pulled free. This allows for two difficulty levels, you can just try to knock the masks off, or you can try to dismember your opponent.

Overall
My personal favorite Rahi overall, due to looks, a very cool attack function, and the fact that I got it on clearance. biggrin.gif
I give Muaka & Kane-Ra 8.5 out of 10.

Oh well here I go with my review of Kopaka Nuva:

aspect:very nice.the mask makes him look like a visionary.the shield looks like it could really protect somebody.the pieces are not entirely new,but the armor, the mask and the weapon makes me think aspect deserves 10/10
playability:like all the nuva:excellent.you play with it,pose it in different ways, and a big plus comes to the fact that you can attach his power blades to his feet, making power ice skates.building kaitas is an excellent way to play too,but they don't look that good.but that's another aspect,so playability gets 10/10
general:a very good set, just like the other nuva.the pieces make for very good Mocs, and the other form insures you'll play with him for more than 5 minutes and then throw him away.a little hinderance is the fact that his sword does not have a wide range of motion, but still,I give general 9/10.
overall:9.6/10.

Here's mine on the Bohrok Kal. this is especially useful for the ones who can't decide if tyo buy one or not.

Aspect : they're exactly the Bohrok just with sliver thingies all over them and different krana and shields. They're beatiful nonetheless.
Playability : Not very much.

You should but them only if you're collecting these and you can put up 8$ for another Bohrok. If you're making swarms they're good as generals.

I am adding mine on the 2 Lehvaks (Lehvak and Lehvak Kal)

QUOTE (Muaka's wrath)
Lehvak-B+
U-G-L-Y you ain't got no alibi you ugly! Unsymettrical, it's hand sheilds look like tweezers... need I go on?

You are totally wrong ! He's good at camouflage (jungle) and has the cool power of acid. He can melt even through your Kohrak !
Lehvak Kal: He has the coolest power of them all ! You could die out of his attack from 3 reasons :
1.He would stink all your air and you'll carbonize
2.The implosion will practically compact you to a nothing
3.The air blast can blast through rock and we know a rock is more solid than a human (Toa Nuva).
His design is also great ! I would suggest to make him your first Kal !

Well...here's my Rahkshi review...it's going to be about Vorahk, but you can apply it to most of the Rahkshi...

Prologue
-As most of you know, the Rahkshi are the sons of Makuta, and their role is to find the Toa of Light, and stop the heroes of Mata-Nui from finding him first...They cost $8.95 USD.

Opening Scene:
-Well, when I first held this canister in my hands, I just said, "Wow." It's so unique looking, and it just looks cool! In my opinion, much better than the Bohrok canisters! Near the bottom of the canister, on the side, it says "BIONICLE"...very nice touch. On the translucent top of the canister is the Bionicle logo, and on the bottom is the Rahkshi logo.

Unlike with the familiar sticky tabs that have usually held the canisters' tops in place, a whole line of sticky..."tape" keeps the lid secure. When I finally got it off, I just popped the lid off, from the bottom! Very nice, as you don't have to unscrew it...

Setting
-When I had it opened, all the pieces came pouring out. One thing I immediately noticed were the HUGE feet...and the second thing was the utter ABUNDANCE of unfamiliar pieces...the only pieces that were old were the hip joints, rods, gears, and arm pieces. The fiercesome spikes were a little surprising to me, as they were very flexible. The Kraata was SO fun to finally see...as it was flexible, evil-looking, and I loved the markings on it...but Kraata are harder to distinguish than Krana.

Rising Action...
-This was one FUN set to build! Even though the Bohrok were fun to build at first, this one was SO much better! You started out with the torso, then progressed to the head and arms, and finally the legs. For me, like all Lego sets, following the instructions as I built was just pure pleasure! Seeing how everything fit together...But, probably an experienced builder could build it right away, without looking at the instructions. For me, the most fun part was building the Kraata case, sliding the Kraata in, and putting the spike casing over top...

Climax
-So, Vorahk was complete! Immediately, I started posing him on his gigantic feet, trying to find all the different poses...and there are many! He can do basically anything! The swinging-staff action is cool, but not the highlight of this set. The head's poseability is beyond cool, and I found out that if you pushed the head down, the Kraata pops out! I just loved playing around with the legs...the knees are FANTASTIC! And then, battling a Toa...just PLAIN FUN! Vorahk could get the Toa down in no time...wink.gif But, I bet that this is one set that you can play with SO many times...

Falling Action...
-Now, some of you that don't have Rahkshi will wonder what the instructions contain. First, it has a picture of the famous MoL logo, with the Avokhii and Makuta's mask facing opposite directions, the island of Mata-Nui in the middle. Then, are the instructions for the set. Following that, is the way you can "fold" Vorahk up, to put him in the case. Next, it shows the Kaita, and the instructions for him. After that, are awesome pics of new sets, including Takanuva with the Ussanui, Jaller with the Gukko bird, Takua with Pewku, and Makuta. Next is a promo page, with game screenshots, and a MoL ad. Finally, on the back are pictures of all six Rahkshi, with their Kraata, in all six stages.

Resolution
-Don't have the Rahkshi? BUY THEM NOW. Trust me. You won't regret it! These sets are the best I've seen since the original Toa! Their uniqueness is the BEST, and their sinister aura is...perfect.

Alright, since I have ALL SIX RAHKSHI, here's my Rahkshi Kaita review.

KAITA #1: THE ALMOST-CENTAUR!

Ok, this is the Rahkshi Kaita we've seen, the one with a little rider on it, that lots of people have been referring to as a centaur. Let me tell ya: It's a midget riding an ugly bug (but I mean that in a good way). Compared to the other Kaita, it's a quick build, and is actually much better than either of the Toa Nuva Kaita. Its legs are huge in proportion to the body, and when you turn the little knob it makes the legs move up and down, giving the impression of a bug. However, there's just something-I don't know what-that makes this Kaita really really cool. Overall: Build it. It's quick, and you'll be pleased with the result.

Rating: 8 out of 10

KAITA #2: THE THREE-HEADED CHRISTMAS BEAST!

This is the other Kaita, which we haven't seen yet. As I was building it, I realized something: It's white, green, and red, the unofficial colors of Christmas. One of the main things that you notice is that it has three heads. Lerahk and Kurahk on the bottom, Turahk on the top. It's a biped, and it's feet are made out of Kraata trays, which flop around a lot. Ironically, the actual Rahkshi foot pieces are located.... on the hands. There's no action feature, but just like the other Kaita, it just has something about it that makes it cool. Unfortunately, it takes forever to build. Overall: Build the other one, but if you have the time, take this one for a spin.

Rating: 5 out of 10

P.S. On the instruction booklet, they spelled Turahk wrong!

I just got Panrahk and Kurahk.
First of all, the packaging. I popped open Kurahks container and the bits went flying every where. I didnt make that mistake with Panrahk. The design is exelentay! The legs are stiff and sturdy, meaning they dont just 'slip' out of position, the head has a good rotational axis and the arms give good reach. The only problem I think is that the arm rotating peice is too loose and it slips out of position too easily. I havent managed to get the Rahkshi into the containers yet though.

*Fiddles with Rahkshi for a bit*

There we go. Its in there. It looks a bit cramped!

The Kraata are a bit of a let down as they are so small and come loose very easily.
The staff of Kurahk is the best as it looks like a sort of blade!

Tahurahk out

My 2 widgets on the 2003 Matoran

Style/creativity: Great! It looks awesome! I wish they did this in the first place! Stupid piece limit...

benifit: We can get new pieces, e.g. arm thing, Kohlii stick, and leg, and we get some old masks back!

Playability: You can play new style kohlii with it!

Pohatu Nuva Review:

character Design: 9/10 for his feet look cooler wit the silver instead of tan and he also has the climbing claws that make his feet but he still can't fit into a exo-toa without adjustments and his head gets "chopped" off too easily.

Pieces: 8.5/10 Very similar to the old ones except with cool armor and claws.

Playability: 9.5/10 Very Nice to play with for you can use his big feet to whack other things and the kodan ball looks cool when he kicks it. Also he can go with the thahu and onua to become the kaita which is pretty tight.

Overall: 9/10 Pohatu Nuva is my favorite Toa for some strange reason but he has a great looking mask, cool weapons, cool... smile_pohatu_nu.gif smilie_kakama_nu.gif

-ZS- REVIEW: Turahk

Price: $8.95

Box:
The box or canister is different then the previous ones. This can hold 6 Kraata on top and room for plenty more inside...

Pieces (what did ya get?):
You open it up and dumb the contents all over and what did you get?
Well, this new foe holds 15 new pieces! These pieces are never before seen on a lego product and are nifty.

Building it:
Ok, so you pull out the instructions and start building right?
This is a easy set to build. (took me about 3 mins)
The instructions are easy to follow, but when it shows the legs do them both at once because it only says x2 at the end and it is a hassle to go back and do it again.

Play time:
So he is built and you start to fiddle with him...
On his back is a knob that you turn and his arms move back and forth...
He has extreme poseability and can kick and move all over.
His head is also special... For the first time in bionicle a sets head can move. Also if you hit him on his head: out pops the Kraata!

Moc expeirience:
With the new pieces you can do alot more with spines and bending knees! Although it would take 2 to make it better. some of the pieces seem useless, but can be put somewhere just use you imagination. rolleyes.gif

Overall:
This set is just great! you can do alot of poses to mocing. This is one great set! (in short GET IT)

Ratings:
Box: 8/10
Pieces: 9/10
Building: 9/10
Play time: 10/10
Mocing:8/10
Overall:9/10

-ZS- REVIEW: Kraata

The can:
Well it is small and nifty can hold 15-18 Kratta...
You can also use it to hold small pieces that you dont want to loose.

Contents:
Cool stuff, there is 3 kratta per can and they are randomly assorted.
Nifty little guys...
This also holds a sticker of a character for the MoL movie!

Overall:
just cool plain cool!!!

Can:9/10

Overall:9/10

Since there well be no I got topics for the pewku and takua set here my opinion on them

I got the Takua and Pewku set. First the most obvious is the hero- Takua. The new matoran are very different once you get to touch and look at one for yourself. The bendable arms are cool. The koli stick can hit the ball, but you have pose him correctly. Well other wise its just Takua unfortuntly if you don't want the crb you can't buy Takua alone.

But the Pewku crab looks better then the gukko bird at least. The pewku crab has wheels and when pushed his legs touch the floor but just a little. So you can't push shove it have it go very far. I do like the lehvak kal clwas for his hands. The tubes are decertive and the eyes worked out better then I tought. This has some good pieces for MOCs. But in the back it is kind of plain or flat. But this may be due to Takua sitting there. He is easy to sit by putting the litte holes on the pegs.. The set is farley easy to build with takua's pieces in their own bag. Also all the smaller piece in their own bag. The set is 221 pieces. I'd say this set is reallt cool. I like better mata-nui creatures. (mainly since I always have to dislimate mine cause I use toomany piece from different sets) But also you got Takua and the new matoran design is just really neat.

tell me what you think of this review.

Makuta

Makuta is an all around awesome set. Again, there were four bags in the box. One with small pieces, one for the basic torso, one for the two legs, and one for armor, arms, and staffs. He was a litttle bit harder than takua and pewku, but it was still simple. Its torso has the same action as the new Matoran. The reason I am not saying rahkshi torso is because it uses the Matoran one, and not the Rahkshi. Its legs are identicl, and gets repetative the second time around, and same with the arms. It is obvious he is evil, and it will take a great deal of power to defeat him.

He has three places to store Kraata, one on his stomach and one on each leg. This is probobly where they come out in the movie. The only tricky part was the placement of the silver Avohkiis. But I eventually figured it out. there is a new element to the three masks in this set. Insead of the little bump that fits into the head of a Toa, there is a small axel, which can be good for MOC making. This is a great set

Pewku

Upon opening the box of Takua and Pewku, four bags and some tubes fell out. In the first bag were small pieces, such as pins and axels. In the second were pieces for Takua, in the third, a majority of the pieces for Pewku, and in the last, some long pieces. I immediately opened takua's bag, which contained a majority of blue and red pieces. I zoomed through the instructions and finished him in a flash. He is pretty cool, and I love the new design and the staff. Now it was time for the big guy, Pewku.

It was a fairly simple set to put together. It didnt get boring, though, and it was fun to see how it all came together. The Pewku's action is quite cool. Underneath its body are four wheels. these wheels are attached to the legs, and when the wheels urn, it moves the legs so the scuttle across the surface. it is fun to make it scuttle up and down walls, too. takua fits on by two half pin, half axels, and can come off easily. This is an awesome set, and i would highly reccomend it. It is worth the 20 dollars.

Here are the new reviews:

Takanuva; 10/10 smile_tol.gif
Seems to be the best set yet! The only problems that I see are the complications of keeping him on Ussanui, and that staff. his staff can be hard to pose with. And his arms, I don't like Toa Nuva legs for arms, their just not easy to pose with! But stiff this set will be remembered throughout Bionicle history.

Ussanui; 8/10
I am still confused about the design, but it still amazes me. The Kraata storage compartments give it a different look than anything so far. The Dark Grey Hau doesn't really fit, since Tahu and the rest of the Toa became the Toa Nuva. It seems to be made of mainly Bohrok Kal and Rahkshi parts. As usual, This is an interesting set.

Makuta; 9/10 infected.gif
It is pretty much alright. It looks like scrap, since he is built by the Void. his mask is frightful, but hay that's what it's supposed to be... He uses two silver Avohkii masks as hands, two Light Staffs, and Nuva parts. Only to be remembered as the ugliest enemy ever!!

New Matoran; 9/10 smilie_takua.gif smilie_jala.gif smilie_hafu.gif smilie_huki.gif smilie_kongu.gif smilie_maku.gif smilie_matoro.gif smilie_nuparu.gif
Not much of a change in color or masks, except for Kopeke. Again LEGO uses Bohrok parts to make things much better. They're very easy to pose and unique. Their weapons and sports equipment is all in one. Now they can really play Kohlii. Great advance in the design! They'll be known as the greatest midgets ever!

My Takanuva Review

Well, there were bags as usual, one for Takanuva himself, and the rest for Ussanui. TakaNuva is just another simple Toa Nuva, looking like Gali nuva. Excellent parts for MOCing, because of Takanuvas Golden armour. The Ussanui is quite complex to build, but all in all, it turns out to be very nice! The only mechanism on it is flight mode and land mode, when the katans filp up or down simply by pushing down a red lever.
