Hi Greg. I have some questions regarding the new Bionicle Heroes game.

1. Is the story team involved with the plot for this game? In other words, will this game be considered "official" storyline?

2. Do you know why in the game, the Inika have the Toa Olda's weapons?

3. There seems to be a Rahkshi statue in the website for the game, but I didn't see one (A Rahkshi, that is) in the trailer... why is it there?

4. Will Roodaka have a big role in the game?

5. The game info says "Master their unique weapons and abilities in order to defeat the villainous Piraka one by one", yet it doesn't say anything about the Mask of Life. Will we see it in the game, or is it a "books and comics only" thing?

I understand if you can't answer some of these questions.

1) No, we were not involved at all.
2) You're not really playing the Inika, you are basically playing someone with the abilities of a Krahka.

I don't really see why. You can see in the trailer that the player can choose the Inika they want/need (you can see Jaller suddenly being replaced by Kongu). This is probably because different Inika have different abilities.

Much like you could shift from Toa to Toa in Maze of Shadows.

1) Will we see Roodaka on Voya Nui in the storyline this year (since she's in the game along with Visorak)?

2) Do you know who the mysterious "bonus player" is in the game and if so, can you tell me or not?

1) No. The game is not official storyline and Roodaka never appears on Voya Nui.

2) No, I don't. Outside of playing a demo for a couple minutes a few months ago, I had nothing at all to do with the game. Since it wasn't canon, there was no need for me to be involved.

No and no. Not sure what info has been released on the game, but you are not actually playing the Toa, you are playing someone who turns into Toa -- basically, someone with the powers of a Krahka -- and while Krahka does return in 2006, she doesn't do any of the stuff that is in the game.

I have nothing against Fire Characters, but It seems unfair that 97.5% of the time, when there are leaders in BIONICLE, it's the Red/Fire Character.. The Female characters have never gotten a chance to lead. Oh well... Then again, It doesn't mean It can't be Matoro, Kongu, or Hewkii.

Now, there are Two Iniak we can stop guessing are leader. Hahli () and Nuparu.

Hey Greg, long time viewer, first time caller. Just wanted to ask you a few questions.

1)Is Nuparu's Mask power the ability to walk on walls? I saw him doing that in the BH trailor and I wondered if he could do that in the storyline.
2)You say you used to work in RPGs. Were the Rahkshi powers based from spells from RPGs? For example, Poison, Darkness, Confusion and Sleep being status allinments?
3)This has been speculated but is the flip mask of Vezons the MoLi or can't you answer that?
4)Favorate Inika?
5)Is answering BZ members questions part of your job?
6)Could you give me a Kongu or Hewkii quote? It's alright if you're busy.

Voya Nui has a number of nicknames given by those unfortunate enough to have to live there, but Voya itself is Matoran for "journey." The name of the island refers to the abrupt and violent trip it took to get where it is now.

1. The Ignika is sort of a sentinent mask, being able to actually create guardians for its own safety. (BY creation I mean both Vezon and the Prododax). Now, my question is; Was the Ignika made sentinent by the Great Beings, or did it become sentinent over time, as a result of its power(life).

2. Considering that the Voya-Nui matoran have had both an experience with bad Toa(Piraka) and good Toa(Nuva), how will they react to the Inika?

3. Do all the members of the Brotherhood of Makuta have the same properties as the Makuta we know? (For example, when their armor is broken, does their energy leak out?)

4. DO all the members of the Brotherhood of Makuta have the same powers as Makuta? Or is the ability to create Rahkshi the extent of their similarity in powers?

5. Antidermis is a virus that makes matoran obey the PIraka. Will the matoran obey anyone who shoots them with antidermis, or is the virus somehow linked to the Piraka's 'essence'/'DNA'.

6. In Dark Destiny, Axonn says that he must stop the Piraka, even if he must join them. Yet somewhere you said that the idea of Axonn joining the PIraka to betray them was scrapped. Was it actually scrapped, or is it still official?

7. Will the Inika appear in the May BIONICLE issue? ANd how big a part will they have?

8. Now, the protodax in the May Magazine have Zamor launchers attached. DO the actual protodax have Zamor launchers? If so, how was the mask of LIfe able to recreate Zamor Launchers? Do protodites themselves have Zamor launchers?

9. How old are the Piraka? (Compared to the founding of Metru Nui or some other date that would seem appropriate to convey their age)

10. Has it been officialized in the story bible how Makuta made Mata Nui fall asleep?

11. Will the Brotherhood of Makuta(as in their members) make an appearance or have some part to play in the three-year story arc?

12. Do you know how works and designs the story for Exo-Force? (That's my second-favorite LEGO theme)

TO tell the truth, although I LOVED the Makuta set, it sorta spoiled his image. I used to love the evil Hau image. ALthough it is interesting to know Mata Nui DOES have a form.

1. If memory serves, you mentioned a while ago that Botar has a connection to one of the 2007 characters. Can you just confirm/clarify this?

2. a.) Is there any particular reason you're keeping next year shrouded in much more secrecy than last year? I dunno...Last year you released a lot of information on Legends 1 and 2 and the events in them. Seems that this year, absolutely nothing has come out about 2007. Zip. Zero. Nada. Not that it's a bad thing, or anything - I'm just a little curious if there's any particular motivation behind doing that.
b.) I know you're not releasing the Book 6 title or synopsis anytime soon, but won't it just make it up onto Scholastic International Rights in a few weeks' time anyways? Seems like that happens every time you announce/start a book anyways.

3. Since the Piraka will be background-only characters in 2007-2008, will they only appear in the books? If so, how minor a role will they play?

4. Which year of Bionicle is your favourite? (This includes any past, present and future years)

1) He has a connection to several 2007 characters actually, which will be revealed in BIONICLE Legends #6.
2a) Simple. I can't reveal info on BL #6 without giving away the ending of this year's story. Revealing stuff on BL #1 didn't harm the 2005 story any, because it didn't give anything away. And let's face it, it's May -- no one needs info on 2007 at this point, we aren't even halfway through 2006.
2b) I can't control what they do. I have to answer to LEGO Company and our policies on this.
3) Don't know yet.
4) Probably '04, because that is the first year I got to do novels for.

No, they do not have lava based powers. The idea that they do is based off of a website that had outdated information.

1)Just wondering, how did you come up with the Rahkshi powers?
2)Is there any storyline reason for Hewkii's colour scheme, or are you leaving that alone?
3)You've said how great Nuparu's mask power is, but we don't know what it is. For all we know, it could be the mask of complete destiny control. Just to clear things up, what is his mask power?
4)Who comes up with all the set names?
5)Any particualar reason why Vezok isn't a girl, or is it just because he doesn't look like one?
6)We know that Hahli fires energy harpoons, Kongu shoots energy bolts from his crossbow that splits what it hits to atoms, Nuparu has a laser drill and Hewkii's axe vibrates to cleave rocks, but do Jaller's and Matoro's weapons do anything special, or do they just glow?
7)We don't know much about Hewkii, can you spare me a quote from him?
8)Favorate Piraka?
9)Favorate Rahkshi power?
10)We know that the Piraka had the 'Gangsta' image with the ads, I'm just wondering what's the Inika ad's like, or don't you know?

4) I make suggestions, other people make suggestions, the list is run through Legal in Denmark, we get back a list of approved names and pick from that.

1) Did you ever state that the Ancient Evil and Makuta are two different beings? If not, can you confirm it?
1) I have stated next to nothing about the AE, other than basic stuff like it's not Vezon and it's not Roodaka. Other than that, I am not discussing the subject.

2) Also, did you ever state that Makuta did not influence Zaktan, in any way? If not, can you confirm it?
2) Keep following the story and decide on this for yourself. There's confusion because we haven't reached the point in the story where those things are dealt with yet.

Ever since I first heard about Vezon having some kind of connection. First off, the Vezon/Vezok connection is a BIG part of it, as I have a hunch that how they knew each other sometime in the past, is that THEY WERE ONCE THE SAME BEING! I mean, think about it; it has been stated that "Vezon was crazy to begin with" . That implies that he is part of Vezok, as Vezok is unpredictable. This may mean that their separation from one another has caused both to become unstable, more so in Vezon's case.

Tell me, does this make sense, or am I, like Vezon, nuts?

I still think that Vezon was originally part of Vezok, and that this would account for the absence of powers and a spine, as well as his craziness.
The real question is "Who separated him from Vezok?" . It apparently wasn't a voluntary act on Vezok's part, considering he's not happy about it (then again, what does make him happy?).

What do you think of my theory?

Who says the Matoran were making masks before the invention of Kanoka? Obviously, they had masks before that time, but no one has ever said they were the ones who made them.

I think the question I should have asked was: Before the invention of the Kanoka, if a Motoran broke their mask, how did they get a replacement, if at all?

They probably would have had a small stockpile provided by their creators.
