Wow, he looks incredible! Just like he should...like Makuta...yet with elements of Takanuva...
 The wings are incredible! Finally, a being with built in wings... The staff is very nice as well!But, you DON'T get the Ussanui with the Takutanuva TRU promo?  Oh, well. I really wanted the special Kanohi, but I'm just not that rich. I'd rather have the Ussanui. And what I don't get is, if you need the Ussanui's pieces to build Takutanuva, then how can you even make Takutanuva with that set? Something's fishy... Well, thanks for the review! Fantastic pictures! Are you sure that the TRU promo doesn't come with the ussanui? since you need it to build Takutanuva...
 I've said it before and I'll say it again: It looks too much like Makuta. at first glance I can barely tell that takanuva's in it. oh, well... i'm still getting it!

Takutanuva is a cool set! I'd like to buy the TRU Set, but if it doesn't come with the Ussanui...I WOULD get the Takutanuva "special mask", I don't know. But the Wings are COOL! Every one that doesn't like the fact that this set is "too much like Makuta": Look on the bright side! Hmm...when light and dark a fused together, it creates the symbol of peace. Yin-Yang, light-dark, good-evil. We all should know who is which, right? Well, I think that since Makuta is a great-being, there will be more darkness in Takutanuva, which would mean he's evil.(What purpose would he have if he were good?)

Looks way too much as a more powerful Makuta...but I'm getting Takutanuva. The combined set might have the Ussanui, didn't say there was no Ussanui. Overall 9/10 for looks.

Now, I must KNOW.... Can you still build Takutanuva with the Tru promo, without an extra Takanuva (Ussanui) set? Do you really need an extra Ussanui to build it?? Because Im getting it as a birthday present. I dont want to spend another 30 bucks to for an Ussanui. Wow, this may be one combiner I'll take apart the sets to build. It looks great! It looks like he's got a lot of articulation too. It looks like he has elbow movement in the arms, then of course hands and shoulder. Looks like he still has the waist gear system, and I can see Takanuva's torso hidden in there. Looks like he'll have gear arm movement too! The wing thingys look ok, though if I make him I'll probably put them down instead of up. I can see the metallic black Rahkshi back panels have been replaced with silver ones from Ussanui. And I just noticed he has Takanuva's eyes. And head. Only in Makuta head position thing. And, most combiners have bad color schemes. But, Takutanuva looks great! Even with the white, it still looks great. I ordered the Takutanuva kit a while ago, and it should come in about 3 days. I may make Takutanuva! But, maybe I won't. Takanuva/Ussanui and Makuta alone are great. I don't know though... I may make my brain itch terribly trying to decide.

Hey, guys! I'll give ya this: I don't think MAKUTA uses any AIR KATANA, but USSANUI does--it's famous for it. Therefore, it's most likely that TAKUTANUVA comes with the full MAKUTA set and full TAKANUVA set (which includes the USSANUI). Believe me, even if I've only got ten sets, I'm a BIONICLE master!
 PS: What's the point of that special MASK anyway?! It's just the original KRAAKAHN stuck in the mode that makes it look like a RAHKSHI head and a KAKAMA Olda at the same time! If I ever built TAKUTANUVA, I'd use that clear-gold glitter AVOHKII that comes with TAKANUVA!

Looking at it and owining makuta myself it doesn't look very different. I'd rather have makuta himself. It seems like better things could be made from those 2 sets unless lego was going for something speific.

I'd just like to clear something up. thanks to the information givin to me from Bink, The Takutanuva promotion at TRU includes Takanuva and Makuta, tho the ussanui is NOT included. The set has the extra peices needed to make the Takutanuva combiner.

That's awesome! I already have Takanuva and Makuta, but I decided when I ordered them that I would get the TRU Takutanuva. Great review! Also, the TRU Takutanuva set probably has just the pieces of the Ussanui needed to make Takutanuva.
Off topic: Gregf said that both Takanuva AND Makuta would be in control of the body when they merge, so that probably means that Takutanuva would be good sometimes and evil at others. -------------------- I love Metroid!

I don't know... I mean, he is cool. But I was hoping that the TRU Takutanuva kit came with Ussanui. I'm saving money, and I won't buy TRU Takutanuva Kit, and then Takanuva, that is unfair!!!

it may look cool, but i dont like it that much. it has that makuta look and there isnt that much takanuva pieces on there. its just makuta with a few added parts. next time lego should be more creative with combos. i still like the makuta and takanuva sets, but the kaita i dont like that much.

I'm planning on getting both Takanuva and makuta, but unless I want a big enemy i don't I will be combining the Two. He looks like a buffed up version of Makuta. Don't get me wrong, he still looks cool. I wonder what he looks like with the clear MoL(correct?)
