I dont like it to much but i wonder what the Makuta nui means? did Mata nui have to form to get his name and i think he`s on the dark side since he get`s his own mask of shadows(if that`s what it`s called).

Hmp... way to much like Makuta. Not what I exspected. I think Makuta Nui is better. I don't hate Takutanuva, he just doesn't have the stuff.

I think that Ussanui will come with the Takutanuva TRU Promo. Cause I believe some of the parts needed to make Takutanuva come from the Ussanui.

i think i'm going to have to agree with the others in saying that Takutanuva looks too much like Makuta, on another note what do you guys think of Takunuva's mask, i think it's a bit big and kind of looks dumb there must have been a million better ideas for it

Takutanuva has his own mask, it is NOT the same as Makuta's. It will only be availible in the TRU special and it has a different color. the masks on the hand apaer to be claws, or just accesories to make him look better.

the only thing i actually like are the peices to the new sets. the makuta mask is pretty neat with the two different ways to use it, and i guess the takutanuva mask is the same but probably a different color. if im wrong please correct me

Well, the bulky Takuta looks exactly for makuta except for a few modifications. I wouldn't really call it a Kaita as Kaitas should have more modifications. But apart from that, i call it sweet.

That is a cool combiner, although it is too much Makuta. I will definitly get it along with Takanuva and Makuta.
Off Topic: I am a little insane because I do not believe in not having the alts so I buy two of each. As soon as I regain internet connection(this is not my computer I am on) I will have all of the new sets. Oh and by the way the truth is probally that Makuta cannot be defeated so Takanuva fuses with Makuta somehow in order to stop him, Takutanuva most likely being on the good side. Don't get me wrong the set does look cool but it doesn't really look different than the real Makuta form.

I'ts okay, but not horribly exciting. It almost seems like just a different version of Makuta. I like the wings and staff (reminds me of Linkin Park's "mascot" the Street Soldier), but it's just too much like Makuta (plus the wings aren't big enough to be a Street Soldier).
I like the anime touch and the fact that the staff would probably be really good for throwing puny little Toa, Matoran, and Bohrok around my room (that's really what most of my battles consist of: a lot of flying LEGO Bricks), but it's too lanky - would you be more afraid of an NFL star or an NBA star? Besides, I'm busy thinking of ways to make Makuta's polearm into a scythe. Besides, between Makuta, the Rahkshi, Takanuva, the Matoran, and all two hundred and fifty-two, randomly packed Kraata ( ), I'm going to be flat broke. Plus my last few US dollars are going off to Lego S&H for Matau... eventually.

Alright look: I read through the review and instead of asking the question in this topic and waiting, i sent a PM to binkmeister<sp> asking why the Ussanui wouldn't be included since the most obvious part, his arms, are made from Ussanui parts. I swear on my life i'm not lying. I posted the message that you quoted right after i read my inbox. But unfortunatly, without considering it being questioned, i deleted the PM. But this is what i remember being told. The Takutanuva promotion at TRU will include parts to make Makuta and Takanuva<without the ussanui>. But to make the combiner, a small baggy of parts from the ussanui will also be included with the set so that you can make the TRU promo Takutanuva. It really would be nice if Bink would confirm this so i'm not told that i'm a lair. That is very annoying.... -Nataku |

I'm not comfortable with the fact of Takanuva and Makuta joining, but the set looks great and I'll be sure to get it at TRU!! I also heard that the mask will be exclusive, containing a MOL version Kraakahn, I think.
