WOW ohmy.gif Amazing! Thanks, this should be useful sometimes. I have 1 question, why are rahkshi kratta worth more than normal "wild" kratta?
Yow, did it really take 2 1/2 hours to do? you deserve a reward!

That's a lot of stuff! A few things though: You're missing the Yellow Ruru, which is the prototype Manas mask. And isn't everything a bit expensive? Is this in US dollars or Australian dollars?
And Guardian Of Metru Nui, Rahkshi Kraata are worth more because they can only be found in Rahkshi, not Kraata packs.

Thanks Screen Guy, I'll addthe Yellow Ruru, and the Vahi price is going up, Info courtesy of mfuss903.
Yeah It took me 2 1/2 Hours I compiled everthing like, Instead of Putting Toa Olda, I Typed all there names and there differing values dou to demand and the other things that cause inflation in the prices.

I see there are no values for store displays. What do you think they are worth. Like this store display that is on ebay right now. Bionicle Rex has said they are worth about 50 to 75 dollars.

Here is the >>link<<.

Also you forgot the special foil edition #8 comic that was availabe at TRU last year. That would definatly be worth more than the regular comics.

I like your guide. You did a very good job.

This was what you posted for the Toa:

Tahu: $7.00
Onua: $6.00
Pohatu: $ 7.00
Lewa: $8.00
Gali: $7.00
Kopaka: $6.00

Most of the Toa are around the same value, $7. Since Lewa's discontinued, a slight increase in value makes sense. Yet so has Kopaka and he's less valuable. Onua is valued at $6, yet Gali is the Toa horribly overstocked and discounted by Lego. These values need an adjustment.

The values for the discontinued Turaga make sense, yet each of the "common" (ie. available at S@H) Turaga are listed for three times their cost. The Va are even more overcosted considering their mass release, multiple discounts, etc.

What is the difference between the US and UK copper Huna? Unless sealed with the Komau, they should share a similar value. Also, $9 is a bit much for the most common promotional mask. $4-5 would be more reasonable and fitting considering its value elsewhere.

The Turruga are worth that on this guide because no BZP member would trade for any less than that. This Guide is designed for BZP
The UK Copper Huna is a very rare variant of the Copper Huna and was only avaiable in the Denmark Copper Pack and therefor shares a similar valueto the Copper Komau.

Sorry for the misunderstanding. I meant that that particular store display that I linked to can go for 50-75 dollars. Smaller store display wouldn't go for that much. Sorry about that.

Wow, pretty impressive!

I dont really like things like this (not saying its bad) because I fell a collectible is only worth what someone will pay and it varies greatly from person to person.

Also........ why the difference in prices with some mask types? e.g. why is a rau worth more than a mahiki, that had me puzzled,

I MUST COMMEND YOU on the fact that you recognise the UK Copper Huna!!

Also I think the gold/silver kanohi are priced too high. They are easily the most common type of mask so really id say less than $1

I think your price for the Kraata tubs is way over priced, when you can get a tub full of Kraata on Shop at home for 1.99. And even if you divide that price by three the basic price of a kraata should be .60 -66 cent. You should consider that causeyou have the tub at 2.50

Your price for the Gold Hau is very low. If i recall it went for way more then that ebay so where do you come up with some of the prices. What is your formula? How are you comparing prices? Plus can you honestly say that your prices are non-biased?. Cause instead of your prices being based on a person who sales a particular kanohi and other items on bzpower instead of all the sources that sale that item. You should set your prices on what is the going on ebay and smn.com, but those two are not the only site that offer those items. Cause it can be said that your price list is stear business toward certain people and that is not being fair. To have an ultimate price list you must truly look at all the sources that offer certain items and then taken an average of those prices. and by you naming individuals that sale that item is not right especially if you want this to be used as the basis for trades on Bzpower. IT is showing favoritism and throwing business towards that person.

For your price list to be trusted by all you must be fair for the prices and places to get those items. And your list is obviously complete in it content but the work for it to be price accurate has not been done.

**This is not flaming just in case someone would like to say that it is. It is only stating an observation.

There is no difference between the "UK and "US" version of Huna, this is just a misconception. Some are lighter colored, some aren't.
Copper Komau: $17.50
Transparent Neon Green Miru: $17.50
Chrome Rua (Hau): $10.00
Vahi: $15.00 (Thanks mfuss)
Yellow Ruru: $5.00

Golden Avhokii (Blockbuster): $6.00
Poisoned/Infected Hau Nuva: $20.00
Gold Hau: $1895.00
Platinum Avhokii: $7995.00
^ How do you know how much these are worth? One auction isn't enough, and since there is only on Avhokii, you can't judge. Though, I agree that those are good approxamate values.

I think your main problem is that you place too much individual value on your favorite colors. I say that they should all be uniform, except for Red, which is more valued, for some reason.

And, I have an even larger guide than this in this forum, and it's older, so is this considered a dupe topic?

[QUOTE] The Turruga are worth that on this guide because no BZP member would trade for any less than that. This Guide is designed for BZP
The Toa, well those are according to Avaiability in Australia.
The UK Copper Huna is a very rare variant of the Copper Huna and was only avaiable in the Denmark Copper Pack and therefor shares a similar valueto the Copper Komau.
The VA are according avaiability in Australia.

Does it makes sense to go by the availability of sets in ONE country alone? Of course not, considering many don't get some of the current sets or missed out on the original sets. This type of thinking is illogical when considering the wide variety of countries represented on BZPower. If you intend this to be the definitive price guide, you need to consider the bigger, worldwide picture.

If I had Turaga to trade, I certainly wouldn't consider them to be as vauable as half a TNGM. That's a bit... ridiculous. Unless it's a discontinued one I can't find anywhere else, I'll stick with a more reasonable value.

What makes the UK copper Huna any different from the US release of the mask? Any specific distinguishing features, MAJOR color differentiations, etc? If not, the price may need adjustment.

right!! Im gonna test this Copper Huna theory! I know that the versions are differenmt, I have more than 1 of each, hunas and Komau!

Here is a picture. Green Kakama - US copper Huna - US copper Huna - UK copper Huna - copper Komau

as you can see, the US ones ARE a lot lighter! its not a light trick either! The UK one is the same as the Komau which isnt translucentish.

There are 2 types for you to collect people!! and one of them is just as rare as the Komau

I think I have the darkest of all copper Hunas. When I hold it up to the Sun it is completely black. It is not translucent at all. It came from TRU in the US. Back when the difference was first noted and questioned, there was an answer given by an engineer at LEGO. He said simply that it is in the nature of the pigments used in those masks to settle out. Masks made at the beginning of a batch are lighter than those made at the end. (Zohatu where are you?)

Yes, you get to collect both, but both light and dark came from TRU. The dozen I've seen from Denmark were all medium-dark.

But that's beside the point.

I agree fully with Miriax's prices except for:
Discontinued Turaga - double those prices
Contaminated Hau - $12 go check Bricklink if you doubt
And I think the Rahi prices are still high (except for the Nui-Rama)

Thanks for all the work. Just a little bit of adjustment and it'll be great.

Did you honestly think that, considering my time here, and the one time I DID flame someone (wow... so long ago...), that I would try it again? Nope, I'm simply responding to what you said here.

BTW, I like the prices you have for the Toa now. More appropriate, I think. wink.gif

You're welcome. Now, to continue my nitpicking... sly.gif

I'm thinking those Toa Nuva prices are a bit high, considering they're practically everywhere, in large quantities, and are more recent than sets like the Turaga or original Toa. $6-7 would make a bit more sense for them.

Don't see anything else to complain about... for now... heheh...

What about the price of a Fikou (Lego reference #1441), only available in Europe? I have a few ones, all sealed, and a few packages with Lehvak-Kal #8576 and the Fikou #1441 sealed on top.

Thanks,

1) What is the difference between Kraata that come in the packs and sets?

2) What is the Platinum Avhokii? I never heard of it.

1. The Kraata that came in packs were known as the Wild Kraata. These are Kraata that did not belong to any Official Rahkshi set. There are 216 known Wild Kraata, 36 different colours with 6 different levels each. As for the Kraata that came with sets, they are known as Rahkshi Kraata. These Kraata were only available in Rahkshi sets. There are 36 Rahkshi Kraata. You can read more about Kraata in the Official Kraata Level and Colour Topic and here.

2. The Platinum Avohkii was a prize that was given to the winner of a Cartoon Network Contest back in late '03. It is the most valuable Bionicle collectible on the planet. You can read more about it in this newsa article
