I played the demo. Awesome. I actually prefer to use the landspeeder to the AT-ST. I tried to build the AT-ST, but I don't have all the parts. I'll try to make a better one though. The head's still too thin. Plus the design of the legs won't work in real life.

Han has a cool move where you press the jump key twice and then press the attack key three times rapidly. His blaster moves are awesome, especially that one.

I also got all of the minikt parts. It reveals a code to use in the full game. The code is NAH118. It dosn't say what it's for.

And did anyone find the head gear dispenser? It's funny sometimes. I've gotten a red cap, a light purple wizard's hat, a cowboy hat, a top hat and a Princess Leia wig. Some characters can't waer them though.

The character I made on the website:

Master Soda

guess what? there's actually Three double stud zones. One's up the stairs at the beginning of the level, one's the speeder dealership, and the third one is....
THE MOVIE THEATER!
and my created character in the demo is Tusken Boba. He's got a jawa head, a boba hat, tusken raider body, brown arms, black gloves, lando's blaster (the second revolver), a brown cape, Han's hips and han's legs.

Snoopy82 the Overlord
M-1, could you post the locations of the
mini-kit pieces?
Meca One
Okay. But first I want to tell you that I discovered a POWER BRICK! To get to it, you need you find the four garbage cans closest to the door the second scene (they're the small type). Force the lids off (with force) and then use the force on the bins to take pieces out of them. Then buld the pieces into a door, and open it with an astro droid. You need all four sets of pieces for this to work, so be careful not to destroy any of the cans. The power brick is a red 2 x 2 brick, and doubles your lightsaber power, and makes them purple.

Minikits:

1) In the first scene, go to the right of where you start. There will be a Stormtrooper door. Use a Stormtrooper and stand on the white circle in front of it. Press the special ability key and the door will open. In the room, use the force on all four taps on the showers and a minikit will appear in the jacuzzi.

2) In the first scene, find the three carrots hidden in garbage cans. A minikit will appear. Go to the bridge under it, and go to the opposite bridge with the bounty hunter door. Use the same door-opening method as you did with the first minikit but use a bounty hunter. Parts will fly out of the the door for you to build into a fan to shoot you up to the minikit on top of it.

3) Find a hut with a locked door. To the right of it, there should be some stairs. Go up them and use dark force on the black and red parts. A hole will be revealed. Jump into it, and there will be a minikit.

4) In the second scene, to the north there will be a barrier. To the Left of it, the will be some Lego parts on the roof. Use them to make shooting chairs and shoot tem womp rats. A minikit will appear.

5) In the AT-ST building area, there will be a large silver tower to the right. Destroy the nearest silver Lego object with a termal detonator and use the parts to build an object that you nee to push arund in a circle. Some parts will fall down, and use them to build a grapple point. Go up it and double-jump to get the minikit.

6) In the AT-ST building area, above the door where Jawas and Stormtroopers come from, there is a minikit reachable by stacking up three blocks and jumping up to get it.

7) In the Cantina, the will be a minikit protected by a force field. use a Jawa to crawl into a vent to the left of it and get the minikit.

8) When you exit the Cantina, there will be one of three pumpkins in the bin closest to the exit. The second is in a bounty hunter room in another bin, and the third is in a bin in the Dewback room. The minikit will appear in the room where you push the Lego crate to destroy the door.

9) In the Dewback room, the will be four dark-force doors. Use dark-force to open one of them and go in. There will be four wheels on the north wall of the room. turn one of them with the force and player two will turn the other. You will be able to go into a cavity in the wall and get a minikit.

10) In the movie theatre in the Dewback room, destroy the four lights shining on the curtains. Use the force to rearrange the screen to show the Lego logo. The movie will start, showing black-and-white clips from the first game. Behind the screen (which you need to make a hole in) is the last minikit.

Also, in the custom character generator, you can make nude people by using flesh parts. blink.gif

AT-ST? Y-Wing? My dreams have come true. But what's General Grievous' Starfighter? Was it in the Clone Wars series? Or is it referring to a UCS Invisible Hand?

The battle packs sound interesting. Hopefully they're army builders of sorts.

Anyway, a few hints and tips with the game:

1) The Landspeeder can destroy garbage bins if it goes fast enough.

2) Dodge lasers by pressing the attack key just before it hits you.

3) Silver objects can be destroyed by thermal detonators.

4) An easier way to destroy silver objects is to walk right up to them and press the special ability key to attach the detonators to them.

5) You can force-push characters out of AT-ST's.

6) Getting 50,000, 80,000 and 150,000 studs will unlock the Sandtrooper, Jawa and Greedo for Free Play, respectively.

7) Dewbacks can attack.

8) Gonk Droids can be destroyed by thermal detonators.

9) Chewie can only pull arms off Stormtroopers (out of the enemies in the demo) -- otherwise he scratches enemies.

m.gif e.gif c.gif a.gif
-Kuurahl-
Well, I pretty much knew all those things except that Gonk Droids can be destroyed with thermal detonators, but still pretty useful. wink.gif

And the "Dodge lasers by pressing the attack key just before it hits you" thing is a new feature in the game.

I just finished the LSW II demo for the fourth time, and have enjoyed every minute of it! I've collected all ten minikits and all 3 unlockable characters (thanks to Meca One's handy minikit walkthrough a few posts up), and have taken all the alternate paths. Probably the biggest inprovements in the second game are that, 1, there is tons more stuff to destroy, 2, there is more variety in the characters moves and weapons, and 3, there seems to be more humor than in the first game (Correct me if I'm wrong, I only have the demo for that as well!).

Have you guys found any of the funny unoffical additions to the Starwars universe in the demo? My two favorite were the movie theater and the hat machine; Chewbaca looked so hilarious with a hat on! Funny though, because when my brother tried to put a hat on the Emperor, he wouldn't accept it. blink.gif

And, while I'm in a question asking mood, how many studs have you collected in one play of the demo? (Including the regular level with cutscenes and freeplay). My record is 306000 studs, approximately.

Hey guys. Since I enjoyed the demo of LSWII so much, I decided to make a walkthrough for the main game part of the demo (not freeplay).

~~Part 1~~

After the enjoyable cut-scene, you find yourself in a large open area of town. There are plenty of things to fool around with and tons of barrels, bricks, and garbage cans to destroy for studs. This part of the walkthrough will focus mainly on just getting through the level, so don’t expect me to reveal all the secrets right out. Anyway, walk north down the street (or drive in the landspeeder), killing any fighting civilians and Storntroopers. Eventually you’ll reach a set of stairs and a large stone balcony. Under the balcony is a metal door that can only be opened with the C3PO activated pulleys. So, get close, and Stormies will start pouring out of a doorway above the balcony and come to attack you. Once you finish off all the Stormtroopers, and they stop coming out of the doorway, use Ben Kenobi’s force powers to move the stairs and turn them into a flat slope leading up to the balcony. Change to C-3PO and walk up the slope. Go to the pulley and activate the switch. The door will open, so bring ‘3PO back down, change to Luke or Ben, and enter it.

~~Part 2~~

Now you are in a different area of town. It is similar to Part 1, except that 2 other parts of the town are blocked by lots of broken girders. Hm, I wonder what could blast through them. Walk northwest and you will encounter more Stormtroopers. Kill them, and then look around at your surroundings. There are lots of bricks scattered around, and a couple locked doorways. Look closer and you will see that the parts belong to an AT-ST! So that’s what can blast through the girders! wink.gif I will now list all the parts and their locations to make things easier:
-The left leg is partly buried in sand near the 3PO doorway. Use the force to bring it up out of the sand.
-The walker base is right out in the open near the R2-D2 doorway. It will need some assembly before you can attach it to the legs.
-The right leg is behind the R2-D2 doorway. Open it and use the force to bring it out
-The head is behind the 3PO doorway. After opening the door, it to, will need some assembly.
-The feet are inside some barrels to the left of the 3PO doorway. After assembling them, use the force to bring them out.

You can probably figure out how to put together the sub assemblies, so I won’t describe the process. wink.gif Time to get in and…Wait! A cutscene plays, and a Stormtrooper jumps in and steals your walker before you can even try it out! Switch to Luke quickly (if you aren’t him already), and fire 5 shots at the walker. The Stormtrooper flies out, momentarily stunned, so kill him before he gets out of his daze.

Now that you have eliminated that pesky Stormie, jump into the AT-ST and blow away the girders. Walk north, blasting everything in sight, then prepare to face some stormtroopers and another piloted AT-ST! Blast the stormtrooper out of the walker, then jump out and kill all the stormies. Luke’s blaster is better in taking on AT-ST walkers, as he fires faster, so switch to him if a stormtrooper jumps back in. Once all the stormies are cleared, a metal door will open. Walk in and enjoy the hilarious cutscene!

~~Part 3~~

Ah, you thought that was the end of the walkthrough, huh? Nope. For the second half of the stage, you play as Han Solo and Chewbaca, both which have only a single jump (this will cause some complications later on in the level). Your objective is to get to the Millennium Falcon while following that Empire crony, Aldar Beedo.

Anyway, you start off the second half in the Cantina. There are plenty of chairs to destroy for studs, as well as some objects to use the force on in freeplay. Once you are done, walk to the east part of the Cantina and exit out the walkway marked by a large green arrow.

~~Part 4~~

You are now in a small room with some more barrels and bricks to destroy. There is also a grappling point, which you must use to get up to the next floor. Aldar Beedo will run away, and a stormtrooper will come out. Kill it, then once again look at your surroundings. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that there is more than one path. You want to take the upper one, so use a pile of bricks near the erntyway to build a grappling point. Take it up to the third level, then go north to the next part of the level.

~~Part 5~~

Go east down the rooftops, then use the grappling point to swing over to a rooftop with a switch and a conveyor belt. Push the switch, and an explosive crate will come out of the conveyor hole. Aha! So that’s why we took the other path! Because, if we took the lower path, then we would not be able to get up to this ledge to get the crate! But, what is the crate for? Push the crate off the rooftop, jump down, and push the crate north to the doorway. Aldar Beedo shuts the doors, of course, but we can still get through using the crate. Shoot the crate, and it will explode, taking the doorway with it! So that’s what it’s for! Now, enter the doorway to go to the next part of the level.

~~Part 6~~

Aldar Beedo has run off again, and has left you with a whole pack of stormtroopers to kill! Kill all the stormies one the ground, also dismounting the ones on a couple of Dewback lizards, then shoot the ones one the ledges. Jump on one of the Dewbacks and ride it to the east wall. When you dismount, you will be launched upwards enough to reach the rooftop. Head down a set of stairs and through a metal door to reach the final part of the level!

~~BOSS: Aldar Beedo~~

You’ve finally made it to the Falcon! Ben, Luke, and the droids are there as well, so you can switch to your favorite character if you want to. Unfortunately, Aldar Beedo got there first! Since he is too cowardly to face you himself, he calls a whole army of stormtroopers to fight for him. There are 3 rounds to the battle, which I’ll explain now:

Round 1: Around 20 stormies come to Beedo’s aid, some on the ground, and some on the ledges. Defeat them all to proceed to the next round

Round 2: Exactly the same as round 1.

Round 3: This time, Aldar actually stops being a chicken and comes down from the ledge! Kill him immediately (he has four hearts), because if you don’t kill him, he will call more stormies every 5 seconds or so. Once he and every stormtrooper is dead, the Falcon’s boarding hatch opens up. Enter, and enjoy the last cutscene! smile.gif

Battle-packs? Wow, those sound pretty cool. I wonder what kind of clone troopers come in them. blink.gif

Well the battlepack we know of only has droid soldiers in it not clones...But they should make a clone one, that would be real nice.

Well, actually, I tried to put it under spoilers, but it didn't work. Also, if you remember correctly, Meca one did not put his canister walkthrough under spoliers either....

Edit: But those two facts up there are besides the point. I put a lot of work into this walkthrough so people could have help, but it seems that nobody has any kind things to say about it. How about a nice "Good Job?"

How do you get C3P0 to the door to build the AT-ST? There's a step I can't get him up...

I got the demo in a PS2 Magazine, but it only lets you play for 10 minutes!
