I think for the light-up lightsabers it should be in the light saber instead of the whole mini fig.

The thing is that the lightsaber by itself is just too small.

Yeah but it could happen sometime.

Yes, and we will have flying cars sometime. Your point?

I'm just saying anything is possible, it just takes time. Like an old quote I heard:

"You have to crawl before you walk, walk before you run, and run before you jump."

Hey guys, I found a pretty decent set if y'want a good deal of lightsabers handles for fairly cheap. the Sith Infiltrator Mini set has four lightsaber handles.

Awesome! Some handle, but what about the blades?
AoiJunni
No blades, I'm afraid. I kind of wish they included them to emulate laser fire.

A Twilek Jedi would be pretty wierd. Just Imagine....Or someone like Ackbar or Fisto.

Yeah... I would like that! They already have a Twilek fig... Bib Fortuna! He's a male Twilek, they'd just have to make a head piece with both tentacles behind the head.

A lot of them they don't make anymore. PM me and I'll give you the prices on all the Star Wars sets you want to know about.

I would say cruising bricklink for the average price would be best. Since most are now in 'limited' supply

That's true, but some are still common to find. You just have to find out where they have them.

I think they should make more lightsaber colors if they have the license long enough. I was at the bookstore yesterday and I read in a book about Star Wars weapons and tools that lightsabers actually used to come in almost every imaginable color, even orange and gold. Now, as I see it, we have limited colors. We have red, green, and blue. Mace's purple doesn't count because it can't be used on other minifigs. What do you think about more lightsaber blade colors?
Viper
The Lego sets stick to the movies, so something from the expanded universe is unlikely.

Actually you can take off the purple blade of Windu's light saber just not the handle.
Jambi
I really like the new Star Wars sets. LEGO did a great job. props to LEGO.

The ships are awesome. Those are the only ones I saw at the store, but I'm gonna check out the rest on S@H. I'll probably buy a few after I get my job. smile.gif
Xeo
Yeah I have to find a job too. Cause I'm saving up for the Star Wars movie ticket, LEGO sets, the mini BIONICLE play sets, and brickmaster.

There was actually and old Harry Potter set that had a purple light saber blade like Mace Windu's and the the pod racer minimodels have orange ones.

The thing that severely cheesed me off about Windu's saber is that the blade is PURPLE, but the led light inside the handle was still BLUE.
When he lights up, it's blue.

Of all the places to go cheap...

There's ALOT of differently colored lightsaber-sized blades out there, but the lightup sabers are lacking.
And not just lacking, but not even faithful to the movie's colors, in Windu's case.

Here's a thorough showing of what's available:

Hoy hoy, folks.
I just remembered I saw the Lego Star Wars game at Wal-Mart, and figured those that can play it and are intrested; it comes with a Darth Vader Minifig magnet. (and a random amount of helmets. One I picked up only had one helmet(on), another had the helmet off(dunno if it came one. Didn't see it.) and another one had two. (Took it away from the other one, I suppose.)

So what is the LEGO Star Wars movie about on CN? Like I saw a Star Destroyer and I think Darth Maul but I'm sure about the Star Destroyer.
Dominus Temporis
Whoops. Seems I was wrong. I apologize, I didn't know about removing Mace's blade or the other ones. I was going to say give them to us indirectly, but it seems they have. Sorry again...
But I STILL want golden lightsaber blades. biggrin.gif

EDIT: Not all the blades on that site were meant for lightsabers, but I guess it'll do to put this subject to rest. Thanks for setting me straight, guys. I appreciate the help. smile.gif

I think it's more than just 1 and 2 because the ad in the lego magazine shows General Grievous.

On the Whats New page on the Star Wars site, they have a 'Revenge of the Brick' trailer for Hyperspace members. This is, presumably, for the CN show. Unfortunatley, Canada doesn't get CN and I'm not a Hyperspace member.

Can you do that? Wouldn't Hyperspace be upset if you took the stuff you were supposed to pay for and gave it away for free?
AoiJunni
That's fairly questionable. the Revenge of the Brick would unforunantly fall under the MPAA's jurisdiction, and with how sue happy the RIAA and MPAA have been as late, we wouldn't BZP to get in trouble.

My personal feelings are, if you upload it with commericials intact...there shouldn't be much reason for complaint. (after all, the sponsers are still getting their products advertised...)

But still, I wouldn't want BZP to get in trouble.

From my guess of what I've seen on Revenge of the Brick I think it'll just show a starfighter battle, General Grevious destroying something, and PART of the battle of Kashyyyk.

Trailers show very little of everything that happens in a film. You can't say that all a trailer shows is all that's going to be in the film. I'm sure it'll be a coherent story.

Anyway, I'm posting here to commetn on this thread.

Personally I hope Lego renews the Lucasfilm contract in 2008 and continues releasing more sets from the movies, re-desigining the old, not-so-accurate SW Lego sets, and hopefully making more Expanded Universe sets. Don't tell me the only EU set you're gonna release is the Tie/d! ohmy.gif Make the Virago!

While I'm not opposed to the creation of a new, original Lego Space theme akin to the old ones ( I liked the old ones a lot), I hope Lego keeps Star Wars, because the Star Wars sets are, IMHO, much better that the original Space themes. So if we can only have one or the other, Star Wars all the way!

EDIT: Thankfully, I also doubt Lego will want to end the SW sets, because I believe they are the second-best-selling LEgo line, after Bionicle
Red Baron
Yes, star wars sells pretty well.

A lot can happen between now and 2008 though. Personally, i'd love to see them dwell in the EU. Specificly, they should make more UCS cruisers....*imagines Victory class, Ventor class, Acclamator class, Interdictor class, and Super Class StarDestroyers.

The seperatist cruisers from EpIII look neat too, but I forget the name.

lets see; Nebulon frigates, Mon Calamari Cruisers, dreadnaughts....the list goes on. More fighters, better fighters......

I hope they really flesh out the SW line by the time the license dies.

I'm pretty sure they are referred to as Providence Cruisers. There is also a frigate that they use, I'm not entriely sure, but I think it was called the Munificent Star Frigate. The Prior would make a really nice UCS. Though I would really like a Venator class SD. Or a Lurcehulk Battleship.

Another ship I can think of is the V-19 Torrent for Clone Wars
