Yeah-- I'd highly recommend getting the other stud multipliers first; once you buy 2x, it's easy to get the others. (They also multiply the Double Score Zones-- so with 2x you get 4x the studs in a DSZ)
But on another topic-- is there even a point to LEGO City? I beat it and I didn't get anything, so I'm guessing there's not.

Every gold brick collected after beating lego city will get you 100,000 studs. Plus, it's fun to blow stuff up.

I don't know if this is just my computer, but on LSWI the bloom filter looks really good on the lightsabers. (Do the first level as General Grivous on Free Play and spin your lightsabers to see what I mean.) On LSWII, they don't look as blurry or nice when turning on the bloom filter. I can definately see a difference on my computer. I have a fairly good nVidia video card:(GeForce FX 5200--128 MB) Anyone else notice this?

Oddly enough, I did collect every stud, and all it did is say, "Every Stud Collected!"
I had read that you get the 100,000, but I just didn't get it. . . do you have to get it in a certain amount of time or something?

The game doesn't tell you that you unlocked it. It's a secret. And you get the 100,000 studs from every gold brick in the normal levels after you beat lego city. Lego City itself doesn't have a gold brick.
There is no time limit. I beat it in 23 minutes and still got the 100,000 from each brick bonus.

I know, I already built the giant question mark and went in.
Here's the problem-- I played LEGO City, I collected every stud, it said the every stud thing. It took me to the screen with the stars in the background, it said "Winner!" in green by my name, it saved, and I didn't get 100,000 for my gold bricks.
Do you have to get all of 'em or something?
I'm so confuzled.

EDIT: BTW, for those of you who haven't noticed, you don't have to go to LEGO City to get the 100,000 for each gold brick. You can just keep getting 100,000 studs after each GB collected.

What's lego city?
If you go outside of the Cantina, you'll see a pile of bricks that'll say [Insert # here]/60. Once you get 60 gold bricks, you'll get to build the pile, it'll turn into a question mark with a doorway, go through it, and you're in LEGO City.
It's basicly a big area filled with tons of houses and other stuff to blow up, build (And then blow up), and collect.
BTW, it's in LEGO Star Wars II, it's not a set.

It seems I've run into another glitch with LSWII. Sometimes when I'm working on a chapter, the camera will suddenly zoom off to a random point on the screen, rendering most of the important character functions useless (i.e. moving and being able to see one's character, let alone continue in the mission). As Boba Fett, I was still able to fire thermal detonators and bounty hunter rockets, but not my main weapon; nor was I able to see any of this, as the camera was focusing on some random corner of the screen. I could hear those weapons still being fired.
Usually, this will happen right as I enter a new screen; although sometimes it has happened at random while still on the same screen (within the same mission, of course).
Whenever it happens, I'm forced to quit the mission and start over again. I've found that once it pops up, it'll keep coming back in every mission that I try to play, regardless of which one it is, or which mode I'm playing it in. The only surefire way to get rid of it for a little while is to exit that saved game and reload it from the main menu. But it comes back eventually.
So I'm just wondering if any of you happen to know the remedy for said glitch.

The game has been really fun so far minus that setback.

Okay, since I'm stupid at video games, I need help on the first level of Episode V: The Empire Strike Back. In the level you're a snowspeeder and you're shooting AT-ST's and such. I can destroy them just fine, but how do I win the level? I can't figure out how to.
I thank you for any help!

Oct 10 2006, 06:48 PM
You can use the Snowspeeder to grab some bombs of those big red and black stands. Just pick it up when it's highligted, then drag it intoall the walls. Also when you bring down a AT-AT, quickly get a bomb, and slam it into the side of the AT-AT be for it rises again. Just go around destroying the walls and AT-Ats and all the pesky AT-STs and probe droids.
Hope this helps, PM me if I didn't make something clear or I didn't answer exactly what you wanted.
BTW, I can't figure out what the 'Extra Toggle' extra is. It shows a Womp rat, but what does it do, I turn it on and nothing happens.

It lets you use more characters in free play that you can't use normally, such as Scout Troopers, AT-AT Drivers, Skeletons, Mouse Droids, Womp Rats, Engineers (Imperial and Rebel), Han in Carbonite, and those droids you build in the Sandcrawler and such.
You can't get these from the character selection screen, nor can you use them in the Cantina, so you need to play a level that has something to do with the character you want. For example, if you play an Endor level, you get Scout Troopers, and if you play Speeder Showdown or Escape From Echo Base, you get AT-AT drivers. You don't always get them, though, but you usually do.
Anyway, I found out why you can't use the A-wing: it's only in the PSP game.

The last minikit in Secret Plans will probably be one where you build up a vehicle, then drive it to the platform near the crane later on.
